What I liked:
• Beautiful resort with stunning gardens, pools and beach. The atmosphere is relaxing and luxurious.
• Exceptional service : friendly, professional and always helpful staff.
• Lovely surprise with the heart decoration on the bed
• Excellent housekeeping and very clean rooms.
• Great food quality, with different dinner options every evening and an outstanding pastry selection.
• Very convenient hotel app for check-in and activities.
• Supermarket inside the hotel with reasonable prices.
• Free and easy parking
• Plenty of sunbeds available .
• The hotel really feels like “A Place to Live” - you can easily spend a week or more enjoying the facilities, activities and restaurants.
What could be improved:
• Rooms are comfortable but feel a little outdated compared to a modern luxury resort.
• Bathroom amenities are average, and the coffee machine could be easier to use.
• Gym is quite basic and could have a wider variety of equipment.
• Breakfast gets very crowded between 9:30–10:30, so arriving earlier is recommended.
• Wi-Fi could be stronger in some areas of the resort.
• Surprising that there is no public jacuzzi/whirlpool area for a resort of this level.
Overall:
A fantastic resort with outstanding service, beautiful surroundings and excellent food. we had a wonderful stay and would happily return.

We stayed at the resort with our family of five.
First, we would like to highlight the hotel's amazing staff. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, efficient, and accommodating. Even during the morning rush, we received a table and our coffee consistently in less than five minutes, despite the hotel being at almost full capacity. Service at the pool was also attentive and flawless.
We stayed in a villa with a private pool and gym, which was spacious enough to fit three single beds for our children into the second bedroom—making it an excellent choice for families with more than two children. While there are some slightly worn areas in the hotel, it is nothing beyond what I have seen globally in similarly priced hotels exposed to sea air and humidity for years. If you focus on the wonderful Greek atmosphere the rooms and the hotel create, then you won't give those minor details a second thought.
The main beach features very fine sand, and just a few meters away, there are submerged rocks where you can spot fish while snorkeling. The pool is Olympic-sized, making it perfect for maintaining your swim training during vacation. It can get busy during the day, but the very kind lifeguard keeps everything under control so that everyone can enjoy it. Finding free deck chairs was never an issue, as the staff made them available when guests didn’t use them for an extended period of time, hence also preventing the “smart” guests from reserving them early in the morning—a significant advantage for this hotel. This policy is enforced with a sensible, respectful, common-sense approach.
The premises are as beautiful as in the pictures. There’s an outdoor gym with bikes, TRX-es, dumbbells, kettlebells and two squat racks with barbells, great for your Hyrox or Crossfit training.
Overall, we would highly recommend staying at the Amirandes to enjoy a high-quality, quiet, and carefree vacation. As the receptionist told me when we checked in: “You are here now, you don’t need to worry about anything anymore.” She was true to her word.

We loved this hotel! It is amazing. It gave us a “wow” experience. The views from the lobby and rooms are breathtaking. We loved the beautiful infrastructure, several restaurants, infinity pool, buffet, live music m, romantic lounges, and organized activities for families. We were also thrilled to find such a kid friendly hotel. It’s a rare combination. The staff also goes out of its way to help satisfy your every need. Live music at night in the outdoor bar was also a welcome treat! We recommend this hotel highly. The staff surpasses expectations and aims to please. The check in process could be more streamlined as it took us 1 hour and 15 minutes to get into the room. All else was spectacular.

We had together with our daughter, her husband and grandkids wonderful holidays at Amarandis.
First we would like to thank the reception team. They made it possible, that we (a couple - arrival 5 days later) had a swim up superior room next to our family with a swim up family room.
The Hotel complex is in a simple but very impressive way designed. The architecture adapts to the environment of the Hotel and everything is generously executed. The main pool is huge and the sun loungers are very comfortable with alway fresh towels and lie apart from each other.
We had dinner in the main restaurant but also at Blue Monkey. The food tasted excellent and also the variety of different art of food we enjoyed very much.
The staff is very friendly und very accommodating. Two minor things we would mention which could be improved; the red wines are served too warm and the beds were for us too soft.
We’ll definitely come back in one of the next years (after the new airport of Heraklion is running 😂).
