We had an amazing stay and couldn't be happier with our experience. Everything was absolutely perfect from the moment we arrived. The room was comfortable and had a beautiful view. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The staff truly deserves special praise. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. They went above and beyond to accommodate our food allergies and adjusted the meals according to our needs and requests without any problems. The food was delicious with plenty of variety and also great drink options. With a good variety of spirits, sparkling wine, and soft drinks available, you can easily get creative and mix your own custom cocktail that’s not on the menu.
We highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again. Thank you to the entire team for making our vacation so memorable—you truly deserve all the praise and a well-earned 5-star rating! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had a lovely stay at Alua Calas de Mallorca. The location and sea views are absolutely stunning. We booked a sea-view package without paying extra, which was a great bonus.
The rooms are spacious, clean, well maintained, with daily housekeeping, fresh towels, and air conditioning that worked perfectly.
The hotel has great facilities, including two pools and plenty of sunbeds. If you want a front-row lounger, you'll need to be there early, but there are always plenty of comfortable shaded options.
The food is good. It can be repetitive, but there's always something nice to eat. The drinks are also perfectly acceptable.
I've seen many complaints about the towel deposit and last-day policy. They're different from some hotels, but they're clearly explained. I don't understand the sense of entitlement in some reviews—you get what you've paid for, and it's delivered with kindness. If you're a very fussy eater, perhaps choose a different board basis rather than blaming the food.
Finally, we were celebrating my husband's birthday and, without us asking, the team surprised us with a bottle of champagne, chocolates, and a card. Such a thoughtful touch—thank you!
Overall, 4/5. We'd happily come back.

We are currently staying at Alua Calas de Mallorca and, unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel.
Our biggest issue has been the air conditioning. From the moment we arrived, our room was unbearably hot. Although the unit was making plenty of noise, it was barely blowing out any cold air. We reported it to reception, and eventually someone came to look at it at around 10:30 pm. They claimed to have fixed it, but nothing improved.
We then spoke to the Jet2 representative, who genuinely did her best to help. She asked the hotel to inspect the room again, but we were told the temperature was "acceptable" and that we had left a window open, which we definitely had not. Eventually, we were moved to another room, but it was even worse. The air conditioning didn't seem to produce any cold air at all, and it made an incredibly loud noise, like a constantly running tap, making it difficult to sleep.
It's also worth noting that you pay extra for a family room, yet they all face away from the seafront. Unless you're on one of the higher floors, don't expect a pleasant view. Which is really disappointing considering the additional cost.
The food has also been disappointing. It's very basic, with limited choice, particularly for children. For an all-inclusive hotel, the drinks selection is surprisingly poor, with very few options actually included.
To make matters worse, there are cockroaches everywhere. We've seen them around the hotel grounds and, more worryingly, in the rooms as well. That's simply unacceptable for a hotel of this standard.
The staff have, for the most part, been unfriendly and unhelpful. Asking a simple question often feels like you're inconveniencing them, which doesn't create a welcoming atmosphere.
Another strange aspect is that the hotel doesn't seem to make use of the indoor bar and seating area by the pool. It has a stage and a projector screen, yet it sits empty while other areas become crowded. It feels like a missed opportunity to improve the entertainment and overall guest experience.
I rarely leave reviews, especially while I'm still on holiday, but this experience has been disappointing enough that I felt it was important to share. Between the poor air conditioning, having to pay extra for a family room with no sea view, lacklustre food, limited all-inclusive drinks, cockroaches, unfriendly service, and disappointing facilities, this has not been the relaxing holiday we expected. There are certainly better options available, and unfortunately I wouldn't choose to stay at Alua Calas de Mallorca again.

Booked a girls’ trip to this resort and after reading quite a few negative reviews, I was a little worried beforehand. However, once we arrived, we quickly realised there was nothing to worry about. The resort was lovely and clean throughout, with stunning views of the sea. The staff were mostly helpful and efficient, and the rooms were cleaned to a good standard every day. The food and drinks were also of very decent quality, and the daytime entertainment was very enjoyable.
Overall, we had a lovely girls’ trip and a really positive experience. Ignore the not so great reviews and just go and have a lovely holiday at this resort.

My room didn't have any Aircon but was told that this would be fixed shortly. I was offered a room with really nice cold air con, but it was lower than the 12th floor and I didn't want to lose the view we had.. We then were offered a fan.
Alberto was a great manager and helped resolve any issues along with a lovely lady on front desk. Other than this issue the hotel was absolutely great and the views are stunning. The hotel is amazing. The food was fine and there's also plenty of choice to have and also enough to mix it up with the different food bars they have also.
I found the drinks stronger than other all inclusive hotels I have stayed in also.
In the area there is not much to do but it is still really plesent so be prepared to have transport if you would like nightlife and clubs.
There's bus stops close, there's a few nice beaches and there's a little area with a few shops and bars near by.
Definitely will be staying again.
