Absolutely amazing place to stay with small children! We went for a week with our 3 year old and 6 months old and it was just perfect. The apartments are clean and lovely and have everything you need for kids. The resort is stunning, so many swimming pools, amazing slides, close to the beach and everything so easy and well set up for being with kids. We look forward to coming back!

The apartments left an amazing impression – everything was modern, new, and very well maintained. The rooms were incredibly spacious, bright, and cozy, making the stay comfortable both for relaxation and for a longer visit. The entire property was spotless, with exceptional cleanliness and attention to detail visible everywhere.
The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, which made us feel valued from the very first moment. The service truly exceeded our expectations. We also loved the peaceful atmosphere and overall comfort that allowed us to fully relax and enjoy our stay.
This is definitely one of those places you want to come back to again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a high-quality, modern, and comfortable stay.

We had a fantastic stay and were really impressed with every part of the hotel. From the warm welcome at reception to the clean rooms, great pool areas, and delicious food, everything was well organized and enjoyable.
A special highlight was the amazing entertainment team, especially Daniela, who stood out for her energy and friendliness. The activities were fun and engaging throughout the day, and the evening shows created a great atmosphere. The kids club was also excellent — safe, well-run, and full of activities that kept the children happy.
Overall, a wonderful experience and we would definitely return!

Absolutely loved this place. It was a bit dated but the food was quite nice and for our family of 5, it was perfect! Each day they served up something different for dinner (we did the half board option) with generous varieties. We were met by very courteous and friendly waitstaff. There was Jose, who delighted our 2 year old and Ben Hanif, who was just always smiling and kind. They were also very efficient and professional in doing their jobs.
The rooms are from the 80s but very spacious. The bathrooms can be slippery when wet but the apartment had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the balcony/ patio was also a very generous size. They have bidets, so that’s also a plus.
The bigger pools with slides were closed due to the season (we were there in December) but I would imagine it’s quite a happening place in the warmer months.
Location was fine, it was close to an Aldi and the town of Albufeira, as well as beaches and about 40 minutes away from Lagos.

We have been to this area many times but this was our first stay at Alfagar Prestige. We were extremely pleased with our month stay. From the moment of check in , Cathia (sp) made us feel welcome and explained everything re apartment and property in excellent detail. In fact the whole team at reception were excellent and responded immediately to any questions or requests.
Loved the apartment…clean, well stocked , comfortable bed. The house keeping staff were friendly,helpful and efficient.
The view was lovely.
We enjoyed the pool and lounge chairs.
The daily fitness classes were a plus and participated a few times.
A great stay ! Thanks everyone! Looking forward to a return stay.
