We've had an outstanding week at Astoria Playa, using it as our base camp whilst cycling around the island.
The staff were absolutely amazing, super polite, friendly and helpful, and really made the experience great.
We opted to go half board and it was a great choice. The food had brilliant options every day, and we were a bit taken back by how much was on offer that all tasted amazing. Worth every penny in my opinion.
The bike situation was also made really easy with the bike store being on site. I think it's a touch more money (about €5 a day) than some other bike hire places, but super convenient being on site.
The room was very clean and tidy, and the bed was the biggest I've ever seen. Mattress was also very good which was much appreciated after a day in the bike saddle.
Our only slight annoyances was the room only having one tiny bin in the toilet, and the shower mats being pretty small. You can tell how great our stay is by how much this is nit-picking!
Overall I'd absolutely recommend this place to friends and family, and will likely be back myself.

The best hotel I’ve ever stayed in by far. Immaculate throughout and the rooms cleaned to a high standard. The staff are so friendly and go above and beyond for guests. We were greeted with a glass of champagne at check in and the gentleman who took our bags to the room showed us a nice place to watch the sunset. It was my partner’s birthday the day we arrived and without notifying the hotel they must have paid attention to his dob on his passport, waited for us to finish eating and brought over cake and champagne and sang happy birthday to him. Every member of staff here are so friendly, professional and attentive.
The food was exceptional every morning and evening with a huge range to suit everyone, even the snack bar we bought lunch from twice was some of the best food we’ve had.
The hotel has two pool areas, one with a dj playing music throughout the day and the other more quiet. Both had plenty of beds available every day and the pools were lovely, warm and spacious. I could go on but I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of staying here. You won’t be disappointed! We will definitely be coming back. Thank you to all of the staff for making our stay a lovely one.

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Astoria Playa throughout our entire stay in Alcudia and loved it! Service was great and super helpful - the staff gave us good recommendations for exploring Mallorca. The location was lovely - the beach is within walking distance. And the food! The food was amazing! Both breakfast and dinner, but especially dinner. We were not expecting the buffet to be that diverse and delicious, and we looked forward to dining there every day of our stay.

If you're thinking about a hotel in Alcudia, just stop looking. Seriously. Our stay at Astoria Playa was a total game-changer, the vacation of a lifetime, and the exact reset we needed!
From the moment we walked in, you can just feel this place is on another level. Everything is sparkling, spotless, and modern—just beautiful. You can tell that someone truly cares about every single detail. But the thing that absolutely blew us away was our room. We had the one with the jacuzzi inside, and it was a complete highlight! After a long day of cycling, being able to jump into the bubbles in our own room was a luxury you just don't forget. It was pure relaxation and something that made the whole trip feel incredibly special.
And the food... that's a whole other story. Simply world-class! Every single meal was a feast. The variety was huge, everything was fresh, delicious, and so beautifully presented it was almost a shame to eat it. Honestly, hats off to the chefs, we haven't eaten this well in a long, long time.
Now for something that was super important to us—the bikes! The hotel's bike center is fantastic. Perfectly organized, secure storage, everything a cyclist could need. And the location itself is the perfect base for cycling trips all over Mallorca. You wake up, have an amazing breakfast, and you're on your way. A dream!
But you know what the best part of it all is? The people. The entire team at this hotel is just incredible. Always smiling, helpful, happy to chat, and creating such a fantastic, relaxed atmosphere. We honestly felt like we were staying with good friends. We want to give a massive thank you to the whole crew, and send a special shout-out to Lenka, Aleksandra, William, Garcia, and Andrea. You are all absolutely exceptional, and you are the ones who give this place its soul!
To put it simply: if you want to have a brilliant vacation in a beautiful place with mind-blowing food and the best service in the world, book Astoria Playa. We're already counting down the days until we can come back! We recommend it with all our hearts!

Great hotel with excellent service. We arrived hungry and tired late at night after our flight was delayed, nonetheless they had a reception clerk ready who checked us in and at our room there were two salads and picnic baskets waiting, it felt like they anticipated tired and hungry guests, which was so accurate.
Hotel itself is situated perfect with walking distance to the beach, and you could easily take a jog to Alcudia old town in about 10-15 minutes. Walking is possible too but it can be very hot in the day.
The building is personally a bit much white stone for me but that’s just taste I guess, service was good and they offered (really good actually) live shows basically every evening, which was very nice when you don’t have any energy left to hit the streets after your dinner.
