A wonderful gem of a hotel. It was absolutely perfect from the room to the food and service and even the distance to the beach. The pools were amazing and the room was just perfect - Book The room with a jacuzzi you won't regret it. After a long day it was so nice to come back and relax in. The cleaning staff were perfect and cleaned our room everyday and replenished water bottles etc. The hotel staff were so accommodating.
Please note at dinner service you can order a bottle of wine and if you do not finish it they take your room number and save it for the next dinner service for you.
I can not recommend this hotel enough it was beyond perfect and I had a lovely birthday get away.

Absolutely fantastic hotel! I stayed here for one week in July and really enjoyed my stay. The location is superb — just about a 5-minute walk from the beach, and you can easily take the bus to Alcudia Old Town or even walk there. It takes only about one hour to get there by direct bus from the airport, and the bus stop is really close to the hotel. There are lockable boxes attached to the sunbeds on the beach where you can keep your belongings. The beach is perfect even for non-swimmers, as the water is quite shallow.
You can also rent bikes directly at the hotel, which is a great way to explore the area. The hotel has two pool areas, allowing you to choose between a quieter or more lively setting.
I’m usually quite picky when it comes to food, but I was really impressed here. There was a great variety of food, and everything I tried was delicious. Every evening, there was a chef preparing fresh steaks, other types of meat, or fish. Some of the desserts were honestly like something you would expect in a fine-dining restaurant. My only small complaint would be that the sangria and other drinks (not included in the half-board package) were not quite to my taste.
There was also entertainment every evening, so you could easily spend the whole evening at the hotel without needing to look for something to do elsewhere.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful — from the cleaners, receptionists and waiters (I especially liked the boss, Garcia) to, last but not least, the Czech lady welcoming guests during dinner. She was extremely helpful with recommendations for trips and answered all our questions.
Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend this hotel. I would happily stay here again!

We had an amazing 5 day stay at Hotel Astoria Playa. The location was perfect, with very easy access to the beach, and the hotel also had two great swimming pools.
The breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety of options. All the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive. From check-in to check-out, we didn’t experience a single issue. Every request we had was handled with genuine care, and we truly felt at home during our stay.
A special thank you goes to Neus at the reception, who recommended some wonderful local restaurants with absolutely delicious food.

The pools and pool area are great, the food is excellent, and the rooms are nice, clean, and comfortable. The beach is less than a five-minute walk away and is also very nice.
We originally wanted to travel around Mallorca, but after arriving we changed our minds and decided to spend the whole vacation just relaxing by the pool and the beach. It was the perfect choice.
Special appreciation to all the staff, who are very kind and always greet you with a smile. They really make you feel welcome.
We also wanted to make an Amazon order to the hotel, and the communication with the staff via email was very easy and without any problems.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely come back!

Me and my boyfriend had a lovely stay at Astoria playa, the staff were all lovely and helpful specifically Miguel who mainly dealt with our queries! The staff constantly go above and beyond and are so friendly and love to just check in, the hotel is local to things but still in a nice quiet area with bars not a far walk away. They really thought of everything, they provided a “courtesy” room which has showers and a bathroom at the end of our stay as checkout was at 11 and our transfers to the airport weren’t until around 5, they allowed us to use all of the facilities stored our luggage. The Actual hotel room was very spacious! And clean maids come every day .
