We recently stayed at Sofitel The Palm and had a wonderful experience overall. The resort is absolutely beautiful, with stunning surroundings, excellent facilities, and a relaxing atmosphere that makes it perfect for families and couples alike. The rooms were comfortable and well maintained, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the food quality throughout our stay was excellent. The beach and pool areas were particularly impressive, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there.
There were only two aspects that we felt could be improved. Firstly, as we were traveling with a baby, we were surprised that the hotel did not provide baby floats for use in the pool. When we asked, we were directed to purchase one from the hotel shop instead. For a family-friendly resort of this standard, it would have been a thoughtful touch to offer basic baby pool equipment for guests.
Secondly, we found it unreasonable that water was charged separately during the dinner buffet. Given the premium pricing of the buffet and the overall luxury experience, complimentary water should be included as a standard offering.
Despite these minor disappointments, we had a fantastic stay and would happily recommend Sofitel The Palm to others. With a few small improvements, the guest experience could be even better.

I had an outstanding dining experience at Manava Restaurant. The food was exceptional, but the highlight of the meal was definitely the brisket.
What made the experience even better was the fantastic service. Asif and Umesh went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and well taken care of throughout our visit. They were attentive, friendly, professional, and genuinely passionate about ensuring guests had a great experience.
The combination of amazing food and exceptional hospitality made this a truly memorable meal. I highly recommend Manava Restaurant to anyone looking for delicious food, especially the brisket, along with service that sets a high standard. I will definitely be returning!

I had a wonderful experience at the spa. The atmosphere was relaxing, the facility was clean, and the service was excellent. Rachel was amazing, very skilled, professional, and attentive throughout the entire session. She made me feel comfortable and ensured everything was perfect. When we arrived, our first exprience was at the Restaurat Oliviers. And it was great, the High Tea was awesome... And the Team, especially Jasmin, were outstanding...
Later: We had more powerful teams who made our day... At the Replay Bar, thx to the Team, espscially Rooshan and Drishti for doing a special Apero Chic.
And after: At the Lounge:Rahel and Zia Komans made us feel home...
Thx to everyone at the Hotel... The breakfest and Evening Team, awesome... You are the best. We definitely come back.

We stayed at Sofitel with our 5-month-old baby and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is extremely calm and peaceful, both inside and on the private beach, perfect for families with small children.
The restaurant service was excellent, the staff is very kind and respectful, and the food was great. Room cleanliness was outstanding , housekeeping came up to three times a day. Every time we returned from breakfast the room was spotless, after coming back from the beach everything was arranged again, and in the evening the bed was prepared for sleep. We really appreciated this level of attention to detail.
The hotel is a bit further from downtown, but honestly this is what makes it so quiet and relaxing. If it were closer to the city center, it wouldn’t have this peaceful atmosphere.
We are very happy with our choice and highly recommend Sofitel to families with babies, as well as to those with children around 5–8 years old, since there are activities for them too.
