This was our third stay at the hotel, and we can honestly say we love this hotel more every single time. Somehow, everything feels even better year after year—if that’s even possible. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere, elegance, and attention to detail reminded us why we keep coming back.
The service was truly exceptional. Every member of the personnel was warm, professional, and genuinely caring, making us feel not just welcomed, but truly valued. A very special thank you to Dominic, Thet Phoo, Rajni, and Sapib and many more for going above and beyond and making our stay so memorable. It’s people like you who turn a great hotel into an unforgettable experience.
The hotel is also amazing for families with kids. The kids’ club is fantastic, the pools and water slides are a huge hit, and there is so much for children to enjoy while parents can truly relax. On top of that, the restaurant food is excellent, with a wide variety of options to suit everyone—adults and kids alike.
Sofitel feels like a second home to us now, and we already can’t wait for our next visit. Highly recommended to anyone looking for luxury, comfort, outstanding service, and a perfect family-friendly experience!

The hotel itself is very good. The room was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well, although it was very cold and did not appear to have a warm setting. That said, in Dubai this is usually not an issue.
Unfortunately, we stayed during a very difficult period when the attacks occurred. During that time, the communication and information provided could have been much better. No one was really able to explain what was happening or provide any clear guidance.
When we had to check out on 02/03, there was little sense of empathy for guests who were clearly in a stressful situation. The only option offered was to rebook at the same cost. This was disappointing, particularly when a neighbouring hotel—where we were not even guests—was extremely helpful and supportive.
It left the impression that financial considerations were the only factor that mattered in that moment. Perhaps that was naïve of me to expect something different, but given the wider situation and government guidance encouraging support for visitors, it was frustrating.
In the past I stayed at Sofitel properties quite regularly for business and always had good experiences. However, after this situation, I don’t feel that I will be returning as a repeat guest.

We stayed at Sofitel with our 5-month-old baby and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is extremely calm and peaceful, both inside and on the private beach, perfect for families with small children.
The restaurant service was excellent, the staff is very kind and respectful, and the food was great. Room cleanliness was outstanding , housekeeping came up to three times a day. Every time we returned from breakfast the room was spotless, after coming back from the beach everything was arranged again, and in the evening the bed was prepared for sleep. We really appreciated this level of attention to detail.
The hotel is a bit further from downtown, but honestly this is what makes it so quiet and relaxing. If it were closer to the city center, it wouldn’t have this peaceful atmosphere.
We are very happy with our choice and highly recommend Sofitel to families with babies, as well as to those with children around 5–8 years old, since there are activities for them too.

We love this hotel, it is an amazing getaway during all times of the year. The food choice is amazing, th beaches are nice and the pools are big. There’s a wide choice of things to do as well as the restaurants to it. Specific thank you to Ali at the Eateary restraints for his excellent service and amazing hospitality

We spent 9 days at Sofitel Dubai The Palm with our baby, and overall it was a very pleasant and relaxing stay. The hotel is extremely family-friendly, which made traveling with a young child much easier and more enjoyable.
The beach is fantastic – clean, calm, and ideal even with a baby – and the views are beautiful, whether from the beach or around the resort. The atmosphere is peaceful, well-maintained, and clearly designed with families in mind.
The staff deserves special recognition. Everyone was polite and helpful, especially with luggage and day-to-day needs. I would like to particularly highlight:
Shyam, the bellman
Ram from housekeeping
Nabil at the restaurant
and a young lady with glasses from housekeeping (unfortunately I did not catch her name)
All of them were exceptionally kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful – they really made a difference and did a fantastic job.
That said, we rated the hotel 4 out of 5 stars, mainly due to two points:
During our stay, all three of us experienced stomach issues (vomiting). We cannot say with certainty that this was caused by the hotel food, but it also cannot be fully excluded.
The food variety, especially at breakfast, could be improved. The same applies to the buffet dinner, where more variety and rotation would be welcome over a longer stay. (There are several restaurants at the hotel, but the buffet dinner is the easiest with a baby.)
Despite these issues, we still consider Sofitel Dubai The Palm a very good choice for families with babies, thanks to the beach, the calm environment, and the excellent staff. With some improvements in food variety and consistency, it could easily be an outstanding 5-star experience.
