We spent 9 days at Sofitel Dubai The Palm with our baby, and overall it was a very pleasant and relaxing stay. The hotel is extremely family-friendly, which made traveling with a young child much easier and more enjoyable.
The beach is fantastic – clean, calm, and ideal even with a baby – and the views are beautiful, whether from the beach or around the resort. The atmosphere is peaceful, well-maintained, and clearly designed with families in mind.
The staff deserves special recognition. Everyone was polite and helpful, especially with luggage and day-to-day needs. I would like to particularly highlight:

Ram from housekeeping
Nabil at the restaurant
and a young lady with glasses from housekeeping (unfortunately I did not catch her name)
All of them were exceptionally kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful – they really made a difference and did a fantastic job.
That said, we rated the hotel 4 out of 5 stars, mainly due to two points:
During our stay, all three of us experienced stomach issues (vomiting). We cannot say with certainty that this was caused by the hotel food, but it also cannot be fully excluded.
The food variety, especially at breakfast, could be improved. The same applies to the buffet dinner, where more variety and rotation would be welcome over a longer stay. (There are several restaurants at the hotel, but the buffet dinner is the easiest with a baby.)
Despite these issues, we still consider Sofitel Dubai The Palm a very good choice for families with babies, thanks to the beach, the calm environment, and the excellent staff. With some improvements in food variety and consistency, it could easily be an outstanding 5-star experience.

Absolutely fantastic dining experience at Hong Loong! From the moment we walked in, everything was spot on — the food was outstanding, full of flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care and expertise. Every dish we tried exceeded expectations.
What truly elevated the evening, though, was the service. Sharman and Simran were phenomenal — warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They were especially kind to our daughter, going out of their way to make her feel comfortable and included, which meant so much to us as parents. Their thoughtfulness and genuine care really stood out.

A great hotel. 5 stars is well deserved for this 5 star hotel. Room was excellent - the mess in the inages is ours. Pool terrific, beqch immense. Staff were exceptional, so friendly and attentive from the towel guys in the cabana, to receptionist, gym manager, all the waiters and waitresses - especially our server Nabil, great guy.
The buffet and fireworka on nye were off the charts. It must be the best buffet i have ever had in my life.
I will be coming back here again. It's an amazing place and a wonderful experience.

Our stay at Sofitel The Palm was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment we arrived, the warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail made us feel truly welcome.
A special mention goes to Salman, the porter, who greeted us with a genuine smile and was incredibly helpful and efficient, setting the tone for a wonderful stay. Adel at the concierge was exceptional—knowledgeable, proactive with great recommendations and seamless arrangements.
The doormen were also very attentive and helpful.
Dining was a real highlight. Marta in the Porterhouse restaurant provided impeccable service, attentive and friendly, making my birthday meal a pleasure. The buffet experience was equally impressive, thanks to the hardworking waiters (Mahesh) and the excellent management team who ensured everything was perfectly organised, and catering to my dietary requirements.
Overall, the staff truly make this hotel shine. Their dedication and hospitality elevated our experience to a true five-star level. We can’t wait to return and would highly recommend Sofitel The Palm to anyone looking for luxury, comfort, and exceptional service.

We had a wonderful stay at Sofitel Dubai The Palm and couldn’t fault the experience. The hotel itself is beautiful, immaculately maintained, and has such a calm, luxurious atmosphere from the moment you arrive.
A huge thank you to the staff who really made our stay special. Salman, the porter, was incredibly welcoming and helpful on arrival/departure and always greeted us with a smile. Adel at the concierge was fantastic — knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely eager to help with anything we needed.
The service across the hotel was consistently excellent. At Porterhouse, Marta provided outstanding service — friendly, professional, and made us feel so well looked after. Mahesh was also excellent, always attentive and ensuring everything was perfect.
It’s clear that the staff take great pride in their service, and it truly shows. We left feeling relaxed, cared for, and already looking forward to returning. We would highly recommend this hotel.
