This hotel has been difficult to review. On the one hand it appears to be popular with regular patrons who visit each year. On the other hand it was not what we were expecting or to the standard our tour operator suggested (4 star).
This is a 1960s/70s hotel that has been 'polished' in some areas to present some good facilities (such as the Spa and Gym) but it remains at its core a dated building that does not befit it's purported 4 star rating.
The rooms are small with a bizarre paint effect over original textured plasterwork (resembling woodchip paper). The external bar seating is literally set in the car park. There are no way enough sunbeds and only a few of these are set under all day shade. The main pool is an oddity (see other posts on this) that has a ring of green scum around it that they attempt to clean off each morning. Its strange shape and cross section means this is for cooling off only and no swimming. The indoor swimming pool was being renovated that the hotel did not inform our tour operator about.
The good points revolve around the proximity to the Marina, a good breakfast selection and a good level of cleanliness. The Spa got a big thumbs up from everyone who used it. The gym seemed well equipped and maintained
I've given three stars overall taking everything into account.

Extremely disappointing family stay – definitely not 4 stars!
We stayed in a family suite for six days, and it was a highly disappointing experience.
The room felt like a strange, poorly planned building extension rather than a proper hotel room. There was a massive pillar right in the middle of one of the bedrooms.
Worst of all, the balcony had zero privacy. The divider was completely see-through, meaning we could see directly into the next balcony and literally shake hands with the neighbours. Apparently, our room was the only one designed this poorly. The staff were cold and unwelcoming. We never received a single "good morning" or "good afternoon," and they were entirely unhelpful throughout our stay.
Dining was another letdown. Breakfast was acceptable, but the chef at the omelette station looked visibly angry every time he had to cook for guests. Dinner was dead quiet, with fewer than 10 tables used each night because the variety was so poor. To make matters worse, they often forgot to label the buffet dishes, leaving us to guess what we were actually eating.
This is absolutely not a 4-star property. It barely deserves 2.5 stars. Save your money and stay elsewhere.

Overall, the hotel was good, especially the location. The beach near the hotel is very beautiful, and the promenade is also lovely for walks 🌊
When we made the reservation, there was some confusion with the room details in the documents. At first, one room type was listed, then another, even though we originally booked a room with a direct sea view. In reality, the view was partially sea, partially mountains, and partially the pool area.
The hotel itself is large and seems to be part of a chain with hotels in different cities across Spain. Because of that, it sometimes feels a bit less personalized due to the high number of guests.
Breakfast was included and actually quite good — there was a nice selection of food, so it was easy to find something tasty. The hotel also has a sunbathing area and a pool, although the pool felt a bit small for such a large hotel.
The sea is around a 5–7 minute walk away, which is still very convenient. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

They have a great spa.
It's not far to the beach. A lovely harbour with plenty of restaurants.
I really recommend this hotel.
