We had an outstanding stay at the Myconian Ambassador Hotel. From the moment we arrived until we checked out, everything was first class.
The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and Joanna at the front desk deserves a special thank you. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience and truly stood out.
The complimentary breakfast buffet was excellent every morning with plenty of fresh, high-quality options. Our room was spotless throughout our stay, and the housekeeping team was exceptional. They were attentive to every detail, even changing our sheets and blankets midway through our stay without us ever having to ask. That level of service really impressed us.
The location was also perfect. It was conveniently located between Mykonos Town, the beaches, and the clubs, making it easy to explore the island without spending all day traveling.
Overall, the hotel exceeded our expectations from top to bottom. Great staff, outstanding service, beautiful property, and an experience we'd gladly recommend to anyone visiting Mykonos. We'll definitely be back.

Had a really nice time on our short 2 night stay here. Overall the property and service were excellent. The hotel breakfast also included a good selection of options from the buffet as well as a few additional options you could order off the menu.
I was in a room with a jacuzzi. This also offered a nice view of the water. I did find the room design strange. The shower was essentially a cylinder in the middle of the room. I also found the jacuzzi colder than I would have expected and difficult to control. Other than those issues, the room was modern and clean.
The pool area was very nice. They had plenty of lounge chair available. Maybe we got lucky given the time of year we were there (mid-June 2026) but we never had to fight to find a chair. The biggest issue is the pool isn't heated. It almost felt like going into an ice bath and took away any enjoyment from actually using the pool. I was also disappointed that they didn't offer any complimentary water at the pool area. They were charging close to 9 euro for a bottle which was never disclosed to me when I initially ordered. I'd expect complimentary water by the pool for a 5 star hotel.
Overall the service was excellent. They were very helpful in arranging transportation for us. Most of the staff we interacted with were very friendly. There were some minor issues with food orders getting lost in translation which is somewhat expected being in a foreign country.
Location was also convenient for us. There were some restaurants nearby and we were only about 20 minutes away from the Mykonos old town. We also about 20 minutes away from the ferry port and airport which helped make it easy getting in and out.

This hotel is a relais Chatau member and that’s the reason we booked it.
I booked a suite with hot tub but I got a room with super small circle shower in the middle of the room with a crystal circle door, small for human being and totally 0 privacy. If you’re not travel with your sexy husband or wife, trust me you don’t want to stay in this room because the shower is not private (and very small). This is not a shower for a 5 stars hotel.
But; after complaining - we moved the day after to another room which was dramatically better
The breakfast was excellent and the service was good.
It seems like in this hotel in general they do care about their clients and I do appreciate it: they work hard, they work in the sun, and they do a great job:
The hotel is located 10 minutes drive from the old city centre which is good so you can avoid the noisy centre. You just have a car in Mykonos or you will have to pay 100€ everyday only for dinner and back on Ubers.
The beach 🏖️ is all over in this island but we went to the nice ones in Ellia beach which are 20 min drive. Again, without a car it is a other 120€ for both ways. We did rent a car and the hotel offered a great service of free parking.
If I come again soon to Mykonos and the price will be reasonable(it is an expensive hotel in high season) I will book the same room type I stayed in.
The crystal door in the shower in the new room brought light (small one) during night time but I covered it with a heavy dark towel. You better us for a room without it, they do have, if you care about lights.
One last thing: the guests on top of us did lots of noise on our last night. A short phone call to the reception and in 2 min they sent guys to make sure the noise there is over. Thank you! 🙏

My experience at this hotel was very disappointing and far below the standards one would expect from a property advertised as a five-star hotel.
First, the customer service provided by the front desk staff was neither welcoming nor attentive, as should be expected in a luxury hotel. In particular, an employee named Effy was quite abrupt, unfriendly, and rude throughout our interactions. I strongly recommend that management provide additional customer service training to their staff.
Furthermore, the overall condition of the hotel does not meet five-star standards. I will be attaching photos and videos that clearly demonstrate the property's condition.
Although I booked and paid for what was advertised as an ocean-view room, I was given only a partial ocean view. I will also include photographs showing the actual view from the room.
Additionally, American Express provided us with a $100 property credit to use during our stay, but the hotel manager did not allow us to use this benefit as intended.
The bathroom had a persistent sewer-like odor, which was very unpleasant. The rooms are small, poorly equipped, and do not reflect the quality expected of a luxury hotel. The flooring is smooth and noticeably worn; when wet from rain, it becomes slippery and potentially hazardous. The air conditioning system is not central but rather a basic mini-split unit.
Overall, this property should be rated as a two- or three-star hotel rather than a five-star establishment. Advertising it as a luxury property is misleading to potential guests.
I would not recommend staying here and would advise future travelers to carefully consider other options to avoid having their vacation negatively affected by an experience like ours.

I’m a grumpy traveler. I like finding what’s wrong. I compare everything to what it could have been. It’s annoying for the people I travel with, but it usually leads to better choices.
This was our fourth hotel in Greece. I came in ready to pick it apart. What would fall short? What wouldn’t live up?
Instead our stay was excellent. The staff made this place. Not in a generic “good service” way. In a consistent, thoughtful, above-and-beyond way that’s hard to fake (and apparently hard to find)!
Our room wasn’t ready at 12. I was ready to be annoyed. It was ready at 12:36, with an upgraded view. We then had lunch. I hesitated at the price of a gyro and ordered it anyway. It was worth it. While eating, I overheard a guest say it was his fourth or fifth stay and that he was happy to be back. I remember thinking, why would you come back to the same hotel? The staff member he was speaking to was so warm towards him... maybe that was it?
When the WiFi struggled on my laptop, someone came up quickly and fixed it. Turn-down service with water bottles was a small touch, but SO appreciated. Even the bathroom products were good enough that I looked them up later.
Our stay was wonderful. I get why someone would want to come back. This place is actually special.
