The children’s mini disco was very attractive and enjoyable for kids.
One important point I should mention is that some staff members first tried to become very friendly with us and then asked for a positive review. They even insisted that we write the review immediately at that moment. So it is worth noting that some of the positive reviews may have been written out of politeness or pressure.
The quality of the food at the hotel was very poor, and unfortunately both my wife and I suffered from stomach problems. My 6-year-old son did not eat the food at all and only had sweets and biscuits, as the food was not suitable for him.
The quality of the drinks was also terrible and very disappointing.
The entertainment programs, especially the children’s mini disco, were very good and enjoyable. The staff were generally friendly and polite. However, most of them only spoke Turkish and had very limited English or German, which sometimes made communication difficult.
The digital and arcade game area (such as computer games, car racing simulators, and similar activities) was not free, which was disappointing.
On the downside, the paths between the rooms, pools, and the beach had many stairs and long walkways, which were tiring and caused leg pain during our stay.
Overall, the hotel was not up to 5-star standards at all.I would never choose this hotel again, and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Here an honest review for those looking to book a holiday in Asteria.
From the day one we have been welcomed and treated incredibly nice by staff.
Location wise it is very close to the town.
I suggest renting a car in case anyone wants to explore the surroundings but if you want to stay in hotel , they have all facilities .
For families they have really great villas which they have amazing view. Waking up and looking at sea is therapeutic.
Pools are very clean and nice.
For beach you need to walk down to the hill but it didn’t bother us as after eating a lot actually was good cardio for us. Beach had a great bar and food.
They used European alcohols too in their hotel.
Animators and activities were amazing. Great food selection and 24 hours of Lobby bar.
Honestly nothing to complain about.
They have also a great Spa facility inside and first time I have ever seen something like that. Unbelievable service there too. First time I had a chiropractor and medical massage with I can’t find in Ireland. Thanks to the owner Mr Nejdet and Can the chiropractor they fixed our health issues.
If you want to do a favor to yourself book them when you enter there first.
Shisha services were amazing too.
Overall price and quality were amazing.
Compare the all expensive hotels Asteria offers great services. Don’t miss this place.

Amazing view from the lobby bar, most of the bar/restaurant staff were not very enthusiastic and didn't care much, they gave the vibe of making you feel like you shouldn't be ordering and giving them work to do
Rooms were clean and spotless.
Food was average but not the best.
The reception staff are very kind and helpful.
Entertainment was okay, the Entertainment team will try to get you to go to a nightclub but it's overpriced and a scam to get tourists to pay alot more than normal. This isn't 100% the Entertainment teams fault but they take you knowing that that is the situation.
Overall not the best experience I have had in a hotel but not the worst...

Airco broken. Wifi doesnt work. Its old. Alot of noise from there energysavingssystem.
Entertainment is canceled last minute and they just put on karaoke or something. Bars close before time because of staff shortage. You can only make a reservation to eat ala carte in the morning for the next day. Its always full. Food is meh.
Tried to work on a solution with reception but If you complain at the reception they have a different excuses every day or cant help you. ...
They should lower the price and amount of stars for this hotel. Maybe half of wat we paid for it.
EDIT: well good news, i am still here so maybe fix it right away? For example let us book a ala carte diner for tomorrow? I mean you guys said it was full and i just checked, it was not full!

Absolutely would not recommend this hotel. There are so many negatives about it but the spa… well that’s lovely. Good value with amazing treatments. The whole team are friendly and professional and gave us a wonderful experience in a week that was like landing in hell. Thank god we holidayed with amazing friends so was able to make the best of the holiday.
I 100% recommend the aura spa and wellness as a day visit, but don’t stay in the hotel!
