Great location and nice hotel. For context this review is based on half board.
The location of the hotel I found great, right in the middle of lots of bars and shops. I must give a shout out to Sweet World directly opposite the hotel, great for lunch, snacks and drinks all through the day.
The room I found a little small for being a “silver”. Apart from the wardrobe there was a real lack of places to hand items, even in the bathroom for towels, swim gear etc. That aside, room was nice with plenty of plugs, a nespresso machine and mini fridge.
There are 2 pools and 1 small kids pool. Both pools are nice. I spent the majority of my time at the non-infinity pool. The sunbeds here are more spaced out as the parasols are bolted to the ground-this is probably for the windy days, but I did struggle to get shade during the day. While there is a no reserve sunbed policy at the hotel, it was the classic towels down at 7:30/8am. Most beds are “taken” by 8:30am. There is a pool attendant that comes around about 9:15am and takes towels and some other items at random. Guests then come back not knowing what has happened. While the policy is do not reserve, this “sweep” should happen for everyone, not just at random. This led to a scenario where towels where taken, another couple then came down and the put their towels down on the now empty beds unknowing they were “reserved”. This meant both parties were inconvenienced and questioned each other on it, which in my opinion is not a relaxing 5 start experience. I think a different system may be needed to enforce this “rule” for a better guest experience.
The food was excellent, both breakfast and dinner. Honestly right up there with the best I’ve had abroad. While not every morning, this is the first hotel I’ve experienced traditional uk bacon and sausages outside the UK. Dinner was always great with a beautiful view over the setting sun and bay. A Club sandwich and chips at the pool bar was €8.50 which was very reasonable I thought.
The service was always friendly and helpful when needed. Note water is €1.50 for a 500ml bottle so buy at a supermarket if half board.

This place is absolutely stunning. We were welcomed with a refreshing cold drink as we checked in, all of the staff were brilliant, maria who served drinks in the evening went out of her way to cater for everyone, even bringing our drinks without us ordering them. People who thought they could save their sun beds with towels had a shock as a man does come round & remove them. The rooms are very clean, fridge is stocked with cold drinks & water for you to use. There are ample bars/restaurants/shops practically on the doorstep.i wouldn't say it's suitable for children as there's only the pools for them, no day or evening entertainment like other tui hotels, we only see around 6 the whole week we were there. Loved this place definitely will go back.

The hotel location was fabulous, right on the beach, the staff were very friendly. The food for the most was ok, the salad bar and desserts lovely but the main buffet very repetitive, despite being all inclusive we ate out. The A LaCarte menu very limited and not that great on the night. The beer provided wasn't nice at all. The hotel was clean and tidy. The pool areas were good but needed cleaning. My main gripe is that when I first looked at the hotel it came up as adults only, we booked through a travel agent and assumed this would be the case, it was not. This was disappointing as we paid more for a room upgrade etc.
I wouldn't say it was 5 star, maybe 4.

Looking back on my stay at I Resort, it was a 5 Star Location with 2 Star Operations.
The hotel is in a fantastic location, right on the Mediterranean. With the pricing, a level of competence would be expected. However, that was unfortunately not the case.
The Room:
The room itself was ok, the AC was very effective. One pain point was the lack of an actual separate bathroom in some units. For example, anyone showering in the room has no privacy, and the toilet is separated by a thin sliding door. Maybe that is alright for a young couple, but it is very awkward if it is not expected.
The bed was uncomfortable, which affected the quality of sleep. There were also no hooks or racks available to hang washed clothes, which was inconvenient. Again, it's a five star resort at a five star price, we'd expect the bed to be better than what is available at any random hotel chain.
Every morning, housekeeping would forget things. One morning, there would be no toilet paper, another morning no new towels, a third morning, the coffee would not be restocked. This is something a basic hotel chain would be able to do right, but it kept going wrong at this hotel, repeatedly.
The Services:
The buffet was good. But the waitstaff forgot drink orders, and if you stepped away from the table for a minute (to do things like, go to the buffet), they would clear your entire place sitting.
Perhaps some sort of token is needed to show you're still there because it got annoying very fast.
The spa facilities were overpriced. Massages were priced at around €100, but there was no clear evidence or reassurance that the therapists were professionally qualified, which made the pricing difficult to justify and the hard sell put on by the spa manager was just.... a bit much.
Overall, while the hotel has a great location and good food. However the service, room comfort, practical amenities, and spa standards did not match a true 5-star experience, and more importantly, the 5 star price.
Given the location, perhaps I Resort can be bought out by an experienced operator which will be able to provide the level of operational excellence to match the location the building is in, but until then I cannot recommend.

Location was 10/10 couldn’t have picked a better hotel everything was on our doorstep. Rooms was a 3 star, they said they refill your fridge everyday and they only done this twice, Cleaniness of the room was very poor I had to physically write a note to ask them if they could change our bedding, for a 5 star hotel I would expect more. Service was really poor, we got seated and the drinks wasn’t self pour, they kept forgetting to come up to us so we can order a drink, some meals we was left without drink.
