Mixed review here. First the hotel star rating. This hotel advertises as a 5 star hotel. It is not. I would rate this 3.5-4 stars max. It’s a decent enough hotel with reasonable rooms, but it is not even close to a luxury 5 star hotel.
The room - nothing spectacular, but a couple things stand out. First, the lighting - the room, and in particular, the bathroom were barely lit. The bathroom was like a cave, so dim that it was hard to see to shave. In addition, the bath towels were as thin as bedsheets, and as usual in midrange hotels, there were only two bath and two hand towels. Finally, the view - looking directly into apartment windows. Ask for a marina view room or you might get this.
The service - a mixed bag. The front desk clerk was generally disinterested, no smile, no real greeting. The Linnet bistro wait staff likewise. On the other hand, the breakfast staff, headed by Nisa, was lovely, smiling, and warm. We very much enjoyed interacting with the breakfast staff.
The food - a mixed bag. The Linnet restaurant has a great fish and chips, other than that, I’d skip it. The breakfast is limited, mostly salads, cheeses, and cold cuts, along with an egg station, but the lovely service made up for the lack of a substantial western breakfast. I’d again mention Nisa, who was just a pleasure!
The location - excellent. Walking distance to about 1000 restaurants and shops!
The WiFi was spotty and not really usable.
Finally, just a comment. The hotel seemed empty, and yet we were assigned a room with a view of apartment buildings (see picture) when many other rooms had a great view of the marina and the sea. Why not give us a room with a nice view instead of one looking into neighboring windows? This may be just me, but if I were running a hotel, I think I’d try to give people the best room possible whenever I could. It costs nothing more, but returns much in good will and good reviews.

Just stayed at this hotel and the experience was wonderful.
I lost my passport at the airport and Zaer (my apologies if I spelled incorrectly) helped us find it. She works at the front desk and went out of her way to call to assist us.
Because of her actions, I will return to stay at this hotel.
Thank you

Wow. What great hospitality! As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with the biggest smile and eagerness to help us. Female employee Z saved our trip by knowing a taxi company that could help us out in a hurry. What a blessing. Thank you! Our view was great, balcony big. Breakfast had everything we needed. Multiple restaurants in the area as well. Again, a huge thank you.
