My partner and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the hotel. From the moment we arrived, everything was thoughtfully arranged, especially the complimentary transfers, which were seamless and perfectly timed, taking all the stress out of our travel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always greeting us with a smile and making us feel right at home. A special highlight was getting the chance to meet the owner; it was such a pleasure to have a genuine, warm conversation that made our stay feel even more personal. The hotel’s location was ideal, central, vibrant, and above all, safe. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

We chose this hotel for our honeymoon because of all the good reviews. The breakfast is okay. Lunch and dinner change every day, which is nice, and the food is very tasty. The staff is very friendly. However, the cocktails, beers and wine that are included don’t taste very good.
We had a standard room located next to the main road, and at night we could hear drunk young people passing by. There was also a large group of young people staying in the rooms, making a lot of noise.
An upgrade to one of the rooms with a private pool would have been nice — we would have been happy to pay extra for it.
They say they are green, but most hotels I’ve been to, for example, have a service where towels left on the floor are replaced, but towels that are hung up don’t need to be changed. I would recommend that.
Zakynthos is a beautiful island. I visited it also 9 years ago, and unfortunately, it has become much more touristy since then.

Feels like home at a dear friend's place
Staying at Hotel Castelli feels just like visiting a good friend – warm, welcoming, and completely relaxing. The atmosphere is incredibly friendly, and the staff go out of their way to make you feel at home.
The location is absolutely perfect, surrounded by a beautiful olive garden that adds so much charm and peace to the experience. The food is absolutely amazing – fresh, flavorful, and with plenty of options, even for guests with food intolerances. The vegetables, in particular, are a dream – bursting with taste and clearly grown with love.
Every day brings a different culinary theme, from traditional Greek dishes to Italian favorites and even Asian-inspired menus – such a lovely surprise every time!
The pool area is a true oasis of relaxation, and the cleanliness of the entire hotel is simply impeccable. The beds are super comfortable, and you’ll sleep like a baby after a day of sunshine and good food.
All in all, Hotel Castelli is more than just a hotel – it’s a place you’ll want to return to again and again. Highly recommended!

The best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived we felt so welcomed by the staff. Nothing was too much to ask. The rooms are lovely, the food is delicious and everyone was so kind. Thank you so much to Mr Spiros and his wonderful team for making our holiday very special. We can’t wait to come back!

I really wanted to rate this hotel 5*, in fact there were only 2 days left of our holiday when things changed.
The welcome, the staff, the food, the hotel and the hotel grounds, I was in heaven. It was amazing, being an adult only hotel meant I was safe from over excited teenagers who can be a handful at the best of times.
The staff are amazing, polite, friendly and helpful. The food is Greek and enough variety for all, it was so tasty and catered for most needs, vegetarian/vegan etc.
I was in the new block a short walk from the main hotel. Our room was lovely, good storage, lovely soft bed, great bathroom with a good shower and our balcony was great too. The only down side, it’s close to the road so you can hear a lot of traffic and people heading to and from the clubbing areas, the double glazed doors were great at keeping that noise down.
The pool is surrounded by greenery and not concrete! It’s stunning and so relaxing! The other guests varied in age and came from all different countries, it was wonderful and everyone was super friendly. If you didn’t want to be by the pool there was an olive garden to relax in and this is equally as stunning.
The pool bar had larger, wines and spirits that were actually really quite nice. Don’t get me wrong, they’re not your top draw labels but they are nice. There are also some snacks by the bar as well such as small pastries, savoury and sweet. Cut off for the all inclusive is 23:00 sharp but you can pay for drinks after this and you will get the named brands then.
Now the hotel is close to an area where 10 million teens gather to party. It’s a clubbing strip that gets so busy the local police have to close the road for it. I avoided this part which is quite easy, but each year the numbers grow and they have to stay somewhere, so there is a lot of teen activity through the night into the early hours.
With 2 days left of our holiday the teens arrived at our hotel. I couldn’t quite believe it as I thought we were safe from them there. A group of girls arrived first followed by the boys, then more started to turn up in pairs. It became rowdy and the peace was gone. The staff attempted to keep order but the atmosphere changed. Noise at all hours, knocking on the wrong doors at 4 in the morning, locking themselves in toilets as they were so drunk and passed out.
What a shame is all I can say! I’d love to go back year after year as it was so amazing, not sure I’d risk it now due to the teens.
