Unfortunately, we did not enjoy our stay at the hotel. There were ants in the room, and the air conditioner was not working properly — it ran at the same temperature all the time, and we were cold. We had to keep getting up to turn it off manually because there was no remote control.
The food was the same every day, and the meat was always burnt. There were hardly any fruits — only watermelon and unripe green melon. All the peaches and pineapples were hard and unripe. In such a sunny country, I expected more vegetables and fruits.
The hotel has two pools, one with waves. We were disappointed because the pools are closed until 10 a.m., so swimming in the morning is not allowed. The wave pool closes at 5 p.m., but during our stay, it was always closed half an hour earlier and opened half an hour later than stated. I’m someone who likes to swim early in the morning when the sun isn't too hot, but I was forced to swim after 10 a.m. in the heat. I’ve never encountered such rules before. It was awful — especially since there are no benches around the hotel grounds to sit and relax while walking. In fact, there’s nowhere to walk at all. Once the pool is closed, there’s nothing to do. There are no places to visit outside the hotel either. The sea is a 25-minute drive away.
Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel.
Although, the nearby water park was amazing.
It’s better to find accommodation nearby and just visit the water park.
Despite all the negatives, I must say that the staff was very polite and friendly.

Aqua land resort
We were so sceptical about this holiday after the negative comments on Facebook and some Tripadvisor.
The transfer is only 20 minutes and we were welcomed at reception, everything was explained to us and then we were given our keys, tourist tax for the room
Was €10 per night. We had a family deluxe room which I was very surprised and pleased that it had an en-suite and for those light sleepers no windows in the upstairs bedroom makes for a very good nights sleep. The Appartment 2515 had recently been modernised, had a small balcony and the air con worked well, there was a safe which is free and a small fridge. It was close to both pools, the restaurant and the lobby bar. There were reports of a sewer smell but we did not smell this, the resort is clean and tidy, the holiday makers let it down by not tidying up after themselves and we witnessed cups around the pool, which in turn attracts ants, another issue people had reported. The food, yes it’s buffet style, but I can honestly say, as a family of five with three fussy eaters had absolutely no problem with the food. Fantastic salad bar, plenty of fresh choice, with none of us going hungry and the staff work hard clearing the tables. The staff are very friendly and polite, especially if you can learn to say thank you in Greek. The evening entertainment was not for us, a bit loud and not the best structured, but for young kids maybe. The water park is amazing well laid out plenty of ringos and again the staff are polite and respectful, we holidayed during the May half term and to be honest we did not queue for any of the rides, just be prepared for plenty of steps.
The downsides
The resort is in the middle of nowhere, no bars, restaurants, beech or harbour insight, plenty to do during the day, but we felt a little trapped at night. Overall I would recommend Aqualand resort.

The animation team is amazing! I loved dancing with them. Aymen, Sam, Eliza and Alix are amazing persons one by one. They make sure you have a good vacation, one you won’t forget!

Room - was lovely and clean, cleaned every other day, there was ants in our bathroom but that didnt bother us, they soon went after two days, great to see a stair gate on the stairs as well as we had the duplex room which had an big bedroom upstairs.
Great to have a safe with your own key as well.
Food - food was nice most days, breakfast we lovely every day and fresh made pancakes which was a hit for the kids.
Lunch we often missed as we was down the pool side or aqualand and just had the snack bar food which was hot dogs/chips/toasties/fruit/cakes which was enough for the kids until dinner time. The times we did have lunch it was nice, chicken wings or something with salad.
Dinner id say was 5 nights out the 7 which was lovely . They done koftes one night which were to die for. Desserts always lovely ! Ice cream station every dinner as well. They always have a kids station which is pizza /nuggets/chips/fish fingers/chicken burgers ect/spaghetti ect. Overall we really enjoyed the food and we never got sick or upset stomachs which is a added bonus !
Pool - kids pool wasn't ever busy. Few kids. My children made friends which made it nicer experience for them to enjoy.
Wave pool was good fun!
Aquapark- Absolutely amazing. Nothing else to say.
Entertainment- the staff were amazing! And ways funny where ever you saw them..always friendly. They have a disco on for the kids each night only down side is they play the same music and by the 3rd night I couldn't hake it anymore haha but the kids really enjoyed going to it. Does get busy though up there. But lovely views once up there in the sky bar.
Hotel overall- reception was lovely and cool. They are very helpful and give you all you need. Marina was our favourite receptionist my children loved her.
Shop onside which had all you need really and gift for children bit pricey though.
The hotel has coaches take you to the old town and the beach. (We did see nudist at glyfida beach which made us get a taxi back just a heads up if your not into that)
What i didnt like - nothing to say really. We enjoyed every single bit of our holiday.
Only thing id say, is some people were a bit rude during food buffet with queing up and stuff. I had some man push me quit hard into my children as he thought I pushed in which I didnt.
Overall 5* holiday. X

Hotel
Rooms
Clean and tidy, due to no flushing of toilet roll in Greece, you do get a smell every now and then (cover the vent on the floor in the bathroom this helps and take some peppermint oil soak it in cotton wool pads, puts off mossys and makes it smell nice) our block was actually ok but one block you could smell it quite bad near the tennis courts
Our cleaner was friendly and we tipped when we first met the lady (I think this generosity was returned by having a very clean room)
Food:
always a varied selection but could imagine in peak season it being rammed full. We always got there early (opening) it was fine.
We never went without and for 4 of us never got sick.
Snack bar
Needs to have another member of staff, she was overrun there.
Food was fine and tasty
Bars
Main bar
Often empty can be served quickly
Pool bar great team but needs to have at least 2 members of staff everyday to cope but don't always have this.
I don't really get why they don't pre pull pints as they do go so quick or have self serve beer/lager that can be watched by the bar staff.
Swimming pools
The water park is awesome and we done about 3 days in there out of 2 weeks, don't seem much but we explored the island for a few days.
So many slides/lazy river we all really enjoyed it in here.
The main pool
Lifeguard younger lad took the fun away by blowing his whistle at everything (couldn't relax to the sound of his whistle), we ended up speaking to management about his behaviour as well as lots of other families (he would drink alcohol, be on his phone and dive in the pool him self but had a go at kids for doing a basic jump into the pool) I asked does everyone need to queue at steps to get in, the answer was no, you can jump in but just not bomb/dive (which no one was actually doing)
Entertainment great with Willy, he makes the place fun and enjoyable.
Activities were fun, water polo, darts, aerobics.
Wave pool
Very enjoyable kids love it and so did we.
Evening entertainment
It's what you make it, it's not the best, the shows don't run smoothly. If you can make some friends and have a good time it's enjoyable. We enjoyed it and made some friends for life.
Kids entertainment dances etc were great, the adults entertainment was where it's lacking.
Overall it's a 3 star resort and we agree it's worth 3 stars no more no less.
Would we return yes, will we return probably not as we like to experience different places each holiday.
Have fun if your going, it is what you make it. We had a really great time.
