Positives first — free admission to Aqua Rock was brilliant! Sunbeds were only €3.50 each, and you’re allowed to take your own food and drinks in as long as you use plastic cups, which was great. The area itself is AMAZING and we would definitely come back to the resort. Plenty of lovely places to eat and drink nearby — Fiesta has a great play area and amazing fajitas, Champlins English Bar was well priced with lovely breakfasts and evening meals, and Piccoli Italian was gorgeous too. All the food and drinks we had around the area were lovely, and the water park was fantastic.
Unfortunately, the hotel itself was a very mixed experience. We were originally placed in room 3081 which had a serious ant infestation. Ants were everywhere — all over the kitchen sides, under the beds, around the fridge — it was BAD. Reception sent someone to clean and spray the room, but it made no difference, so we demanded to be moved.
We were moved to room 3089 which looked nicer and was basic but okay, however that room also had issues. My husband actually got locked inside due to a faulty door and had to climb through the window. Maintenance attended twice to repair it, and the window also didn’t lock properly which felt unsafe.
What made the situation worse was the way the hotel handled it afterwards. Thankfully I took photo and video evidence throughout, because the hotel later tried to deny there had been any damage and claimed we “didn’t know how to shut the door,” despite maintenance staff attending and replacing parts. TUI were actually horrified once they saw the evidence and compensated us, also offering another room move, which we declined as we’d already moved once and had very little help throughout the situation.
Overall, the holiday itself was lovely because the area is fantastic, but the hotel seriously let it down. Once moved, the room was manageable, but it’s disappointing when issues happen and the hotel isn’t honest about them.

I raised concerns at the reception twice due to the amount of smoking and vaping on the premises. We were told they can smoke on the balconies and common areas but in the sheet provided (see image) and their website that the QR code on the reception desk took me too, due Spanish law the hotel should have been 100% smoke free yet everyone was puffing away around balconies, the pool area and common areas, it was a joke. When we were trying to eat a meal outside on our patio area there was smoke wafting over and the smell was horrendous. Personally I don't see why we have to put up with it and I found it ruined our time there. Why say it's 100% smoke free when you're not going to enforce your own rules and the laws of your own country.
House keeping was hit and miss. First week we were there house cleaning came only once and ended up going to reception for clean towels/toilet rolls ourselves.
Cleanliness of bathroom was quite poor. On arrival we found a large clump of hairs at the rear of the sink on the floor. And we're still there at our departure, so for two weeks they never cleaned the bathroom.
Pool was adequate and was patrolled by a lifeguard all day. We had free admission to the aquarock waterpark due to being a guest at the hotel. To be honest we found it quite underwhelming and everything was an extra (renting lockers and sun loungers) and the on-site cafe was overpriced.
Plenty of local bars and restaurants but nothing major if you're looking for night-time excitement. If you looking to trip the light fantastic then this resort is not for you.

Very disappointed by our visit with two children (7+9). The pool doesn’t open until 11, which made for extremely frustrating mornings. No inflatables are allowed, despite them being sold in every shop along the harbour. The pool area is not well maintained, with rubbish (including sanitary products) remaining on the floor from one day to the next. The kids disco is at 9pm, a full hour after my kids bedtime.
The apartment itself smells damp and we found the previous guests shoes still in the wardrobe, so the level of cleaning in there is questionable too. We won’t be coming back.

Just stayed 10 days with my family and had a brilliant stay. We had been concerned about the food following some reviews but were real impressed! All the food was warm and fresh, there was a very good veggie option for my wife and plenty of great meat options. The rooms are slightly warm but were clean and tidy. We needed a few things throughout our stay and the hotel staff ever extremely supportive and helpful every time. The location is brilliant with loads to do in the local area, we went with Jet2 so had free access to the local water park all week.

Stayed here for four nights at the end of September and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The apartments are basic, but comfortable and clean and are in the most perfect location. Every staff member we met was pleasant, helpful and chatty, without exception. We tended to eat breakfast and lunch in most days, there's a supermarket very close by and then dinner out in the evening, with ample choice around the Marina. We got the bus from outside the apartment up to Ciutadella and was so easy.
Really would recommend - our son has now booked to stay here next May after seeing our photos and hearing our feedback.
