Very disappointing stay. The room wasn’t clean, and when I complained about the dirty beds, I was just handed clean sheets to change myself. The key snapped in the door and the staff man was rude, he ignored me completely until my boyfriend spoke to him. He then used an angle grinder to get us back in. Also, there was loud noise from nearby workshops every morning. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Very disappointed. Room is dated, no heating ( been there in December), no extra blankets. Mattresses are dirty as kitchen appliances as well. Lose handtes coming of he cupboards. Shiwer handle is comming of.Toilets and bathtub are realy dirty. No proper ventilation, only 2 windows ,- one looking to the lift and hall, the other to neighbours wall 2 meters away. Dark. No air-conditioning. There was a power outage in the middle of the night, later loud noise came from air-conditioning unit, and there was no one to find at the reception to turn it of. Beds are incredibly uncomfortable, firm ald old mattresses and pillows. Smelly. No hangers in the wardrobe. Power sockets either not working or making buzzing strange noise, I am not safe to charge anything. Lift is unreliable, pressing floor 3 is taking you to 5 or elswhere. No Wifi service. Not even mobile network coverage in the room.Definitely not recommended!!!

I really don't understand the bad comments... I booked an apartment, and despite some little problems, I'm overly satisfied. I had a whole apartment for 35€ per day, at the end of May, and in addition the acces to the swimming pool. Here's my problems: -the regulator of the shower tap didn't work when I arrived: the following morning it was fixed - the sheets are not always of the highest quality, so I asked to change them, what they did instantly No idea about the other problems reported by others: - no insects at all - no unkindness from the staff ... that was actually very friendly and helpful - the only problem was a group of English guys who made loud noise in the swimming pool one day and nobody told them anything. That's the reason I didn't put 5 stars, otherwise we'll deserved considering the price; You have music every night, bar and the position is excellent, close both to the seafront and to the bus terminal station. I would definitely come back 👍

Allround Experience was perfect , except for the housekeeping service, didn’t do their job properly. The rest of the Service was 200/100 . Many thanks to Moiza from the reception, she is an Angel . Kelly , Nathalie, Jackson, Rita and the rest of the team for the excellent service in the dining hall. The cook was exceptional made my mum’s day when he prepared extra chilly for her meals and took care that we had enough to choose from when the buffet had a variety of Pork served . The locals made us feel more at home than on holiday 😍😍😍

One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Broken furniture, broken balcony door which meant that there was constantly wind coming into the room, blocked bathroom sink, cracked ceiling, electrical wires running through the room. This hotel should not even be open, it is unfit to host guests. The neighbourhood is also very run down, with most buildings nearby abandoned and many drunk people walking around at night. Avoid staying here, even as a last resort.

It is an easy-to-find and quiet hotel. The staff who welcomed us. They are kind and provided the necessary things. but just one thing that's unfortunate is that the bathroom was visually clean, but I don't think it used germicide or cleaning detergent.

Insanely (but bad) experience! At my arrive I’ve been put in a room without wi-fi, the view from the balcony was on top of some broken houses, the area isn’t the best, the cleanliness?! Probably they don’t know what “clean” means , some of the towels were with some black marks on it, the bathroom was felling apart , but nothing compare with what I had to pass trough the night, the mattress was full of some insects which bites me during the all night, is insane someone have to pass trough this things! I have more than 30 bites all over my body, is unacceptable ! The lady at the reception at least change my room, but apart from that nothing, I had to go by myself and buy the cream for the bites . I hope they’ll do something for it, otherwise I think they should close!

Lovely hotel with roof top pool and restaurant. Another pool can be found downstairs, for familes. Main restaurant is nearby pool which offers a good variety of food and drinks which were all very good. However plates for food where always cold, meaning our food went cold very quick.The staff service was exceptional, we honestly could not find fault with any of the staff, they were so friendly and helpful. Our room was very spacious, comfortable and had a small kirptchsn facility with fridge, sink, microwave etc. The room also had a small balcony but alas the view was extremely poor looking into another balcony. The hotel is situated near a nice beach and has other restaurants, ice cream palour etc near by. Overall we where very happy and enjoyed the hotel.

This Aparthotel is well situated on the bay, a short walk from a beach. A short bus ride into the town, or walk, but is a very steep hill! The rooms are sizeable, with small kitchenette, ideal for b n b stays, cleaned every 2 days, towels too. Sheets on request. The staff are lovely, so helpful and friendly. The buffet breakfast was really good, constantly being replenished. Enjoyed my holiday, looking at returning next November.

It's a mixed review for this hotel. Positives - staff were vert friendly and nothing was too much for them. The rooms were clean. Negatives - the apartments we stayed in were roadside with no decent view, just buildings and construction. The noise from other guests in the same block was ridiculous, people shouting, scraping chairs across the floor all night long so we hardly slept for the week we were there. This made it an unpleasant experience and would not recommend using this hotel if you like to relax. Also construction noise, drilling and noise from deliveries for the mini market below us at silly o clock was a nightmare. Beds are extremely hard and uncomfortable. Overall if you want peace and to relax it's far too noisy here. However I do thank the staff for their service and kindness 😊

This is a great hotel in a great location. Excellent facilities and very friendly staff. We stayed here last year but I did not get around to doing the review at the time. I only wish we chose to stay there again this year. We picked a different hotel and are regretting it.

We had a great stay here. Staff are helpful and very friendly. Roof top pool is brilliant with top service at the bar!Stayed for a week in a self catering apartment. It wasn't realistically possible to cater at any level. A 2 ring gas hob was ok, but preparation was inappropriate. Had, therefore, little opportunity to self catering! Also paid €50 deposit on the room which is yet to be refunded! Otherwise, a lovely holiday!

We were provided with all the information even before we arrived and that was very helpful. The maisonette was very clean and organized. We loved the terrace and the pool area. The kitchen was well equipped. The lower level garage is spacious and well lit. Laundry and air conditioner work with coins (€1, €2). There is a very good supermarket near the Ghasri church.

Wonderful accommodation and lovely pool. Basic, but had everything you need for a relaxing stay. It’s our second visit and our whole family love it hear. Kids (9 and 12) kept entertained by swimming and the local kittens!

We all really loved Villagg-tal-Fanal. Spacious, well equipped and set out in a lovely picturesque way around a large central swimming pool, we and our 4 children had a really lovely week here. We did not bother the staff much but, when we did, found them charming and helpful. There is an very convenient underground carpark (you do need a car here really) and the place is within an easy 5-10min drive of multiple beaches, swimming holes, harbours, great restaurants and shops. They provide a very helpful online guide book which has lots of things to do and I honestly wish we had come for 2 weeks. We definitely plan to return. Highly recommended.

Had a really good time there, the kids loved the pool. The weather was really good at the time of the year October into November 23 degrees 19 degrees at night which was comfortable. Can’t wait to go back next year 2026

Giving it 4 stars with hopes that it will reach more people. Reviews are not giving it justice. Old hotel with old infrastructure. It was clean, service was great. Location was great, price was good. Would totally recommend it to everyone and would be coming back. Note - it’s located in party area - lots of activities and opportunities for food & drinks till late in the night. Noise did not reach the rooms. Easy transport to all parts of the island

Just to clarify for everyone. This is a cheap hotel. Its outdated , but clean. The staff are lovely and easy to deal with. The location of the hotel is perfect, right in the tourist area, a good place to get to anywhere on the island from. Walk any direction and find something to do quite easily. There's a beach very close by, and all the nightlife. Don't listen to all the other reviews. Its a cheap hotel, you get what you pay for. But for a cheap hotel, I found it was excellent, and would definitely book here again. In fact we are already planning another trip next year, staying at the same hotel.

Terrible Experience – I Would Never Stay Here Again My stay at this hotel was absolutely terrible. The service was extremely poor, and the staff were not only unhelpful but also rude and sarcastic. They behaved as if they were doing us a favor just by responding to simple requests. Even worse, they promised one thing and delivered something completely different. Nothing matched what was advertised or what we were told during the booking process. The room was disappointing, and the overall atmosphere was uncomfortable from the moment we arrived. It’s clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority for this hotel. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place – it’s not worth your money or your time.

I chose this hotel after looking at the web site photos, when we arrived at the hotel it looked in a run down condition. The rooms were filthy and had an acrid odour which made me wrench, i went to reception and complained about the room condition all i got was an air freshner and not much help from the receptionist.we stayed one night and checked out the next morning. I have been trying for a refund but to no avail. If you like sleeping in a pig sty this is for you. Goodlook

Resume : The worst “hotel” experience of my life. A three-hour wait at check-in for a room that reeked of death, with prehistoric beds, filthy bathrooms, mold, cobwebs, and dirty sheets. The second room? Bedbug stains, blood on the mattress, and spiders on the walls. This is not a hotel – it’s a health hazard. Stay away if you value your dignity. Complet : If you value your health, sanity, or even the faintest idea of hospitality – avoid this place like the plague. This was, without exaggeration, the worst experience of my entire life. I didn’t even last two hours. Check-in? A three-hour delay before being handed the keys to what I can only describe as a crime scene disguised as a room. The moment I opened the door – the stench of death. Damp everywhere. Two prehistoric beds that should be in a museum, not a hotel. Crumbling walls. Filthy toilets. A bathtub covered in mold. Cobwebs from ceiling to floor. And to crown it all: dirty sheets. We requested a room change. The manager treated us like nothing more than walking wallets, completely indifferent to the disaster his establishment is. After showing him the unsanitary horror, it took 30 minutes to receive a “new” room. And guess what? Bedbug stains. Blood on the mattress. Spiders crawling across the curtains and walls. We walked out and never looked back. This isn’t hospitality – it’s a health hazard masquerading as a hotel. Final verdict: Stay here only if you want to experience the closest thing to hell on earth.
