Lardos
Situated on the pretty south east coast of the Greek island of Rhodes, the picturesque resort village of Lardos is a versatile and relaxing holiday destination. With friendly and welcoming locals residing in the traditional, quiet village and set rustically in beautiful natural surroundings, Lardos conveys a warm feeling of tranquillity and wellbeing. A long stretch of golden sand beach, edged by the warm, myriad blues of the Aegean Sea provides your sunny, beach haven and completes all the requirements for a lazy, summer sun holiday, it is no surprise that Lardos holidays are popular with many visitors returning year after year.
Plenty of welcoming tavernas back the beachfront, but the main hive of activity is to be found in Lardos’ picturesque village square. Right in the heart of the village and surrounded by green fields and fragrant olive groves, the square is lined with tavernas, restaurants and bars and is sometimes host to a selection of live entertainment on summer evenings. The typically Greek atmosphere prevails and pleasant evenings can be enjoyed taking in the beautiful surroundings as the sun sets and the Greek ouzo flows. Lardos holidays are ideal for a quiet summer holiday, giving you the chance to unwind as you bathe in authentic Greek tradition.

Hotel looks lovely in the pics, pool and sunlounge around was nice just a bit small, free sunbeds on the beach , food was very basic and no signs to say what the food was, and very limited, was cold by the time you got to your table, our biggest problem was only having hot water for 1 day throughout our 10 night holiday , complaining didn't get us anywhere ,we've put a complaint in to the holiday company 2 weeks ago and still waiting to hear

Before arriving, I was a bit worried about what the room would look like, especially after reading some negative reviews online. Fortunately, my concerns were unnecessary – the room was clean, probably renovated, and everything was working properly. For a 3-star hotel, it was absolutely fine. Don’t expect luxury, but it serves its purpose well.
The beach is beautiful, the sea is clean, and water sports are available right nearby, which is a big plus. The staff was very kind and helpful.
The food was okay – there was always something to eat, but the selection was quite repetitive. Only one type of dessert was offered daily, and the fruit was mostly watermelon. As for drinks – bottled water is not included in the room, so you need to buy it from the supermarket. Other drinks like cocktails or alcoholic beverages are not part of the all-inclusive and must be paid for separately.only beer and vine u get free
Overall, the hotel matches its 3-star rating – it’s a simple hotel in a great location by the beach. If you know what to expect from a 3-star place, you can be satisfied.

Just back from a brilliant holiday! For a 3 star it really is amazing! Walk onto beach within minutes, good choice of foods and the staff are very attentive. Rooms cleaned well every day and restaurant is constantly cleaned! Very close to Pefkos and Lindos on the bus which are busy and have lots to do. Will be back 😊

I would like to provide an honest and transparent review of my experience at this hotel.
Positives:
• The hotel is clean, which creates a good first impression.
• It is located right by the coast, making it ideal for swimming and sunbathing.
• There is a small parking area available, though space is limited.
• Food options are quite limited, but this is understandable given the relatively low price of the stay.
Areas of Concern:
• The hotel does not respond to phone calls or emails, making communication difficult.
• The receptionist was not welcoming and did not engage with guests in a professional or courteous manner.
• A major issue is the water supply: all water in the hotel is salty, including what’s used for showering, brushing teeth, and making tea or coffee. Even the soft drinks provided had a salty taste. There are no filtration systems in place.
• The tap water is unsuitable for washing your face or brushing your teeth due to its high salinity, which is both inconvenient and unhygienic.
• There was no kettle or heater in the room to prepare beverages with bottled water, which added to the inconvenience.
• There were no shampoo or conditioner amenities in the bathroom. When we inquired at reception, we were told that as a three-star hotel, they do not provide these items—an explanation that felt dismissive and unhelpful.
Conclusion:
While the location and affordability of the hotel are appealing, the lack of basic amenities, poor customer service, and serious issues with the water supply make it difficult to recommend. Improvements in guest care and facility standards are strongly needed.

It all depends on your mindset when you go somewhere. This was our first stay in Greece and in my opinion, it was very nice.
The staff are helpful and friendly (greetings to the guys from the Beach Bar).
The beach and sea were clean (we didn’t get a chance to use the pool), there were sunbeds, green trees, and a view of the mountains. The hotel grounds are also very beautiful, and the walk to the sea is short and pleasant—especially when every staff member you pass greets you with a “Kalimera” :)
As for the food – I’m a very picky eater and there are many things I can’t eat, yet not once during the entire week did I go hungry. There was always something for me to choose from and enjoy at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. And the meals were delicious.
There’s also a Beach Market on the premises where you can buy anything extra you might need (the ladies working there are also very kind).
Our room was clean and cleaned daily, the beds were very comfortable, and I woke up feeling well-rested.
So I don’t really understand the complaints and high expectations from a 3-star hotel 🤷♀️

We had a wonderful stay at Olive Garden Hotel in Rhodes. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the rooms were clean, and the food was very good. Our children especially loved the waterslides and spent hours having fun at the pool area. A great hotel for families, and we would be happy to stay here again. Highly recommended!

Pleasent hotel, with comfy rooms, fine food and nice water slides and pools.
Starting with basics - room was specious enough, comfortable, with large bed. Bathroom may use some refreshment, but nothing to complain about.
Food - all inclusive standard. Not very diverse, especially on breakfasts, but lunches and evening meals were good - nice choice of meets, sometimes also fish and seafood, decent deserts. Delicious pitas served between meels.
Very good, polite and smiling service at bars.
Great kudos to animation team! In many other hotels animations are cringe, but here we really enjoyed the shows and games.
Reaching the beach requires few minutes walk and nearest beach is rather dirty, so we prefered to stay by the pools. Town is also quite distant, however bus stop is reachable and it allows to sightsee at least part of the island.
We spent good time there, good value for money. Recommended.

Great relaxing holiday - a bit out on its own, but everything you need onsite. Friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, plenty of tasty food available at all times of the day and the all-inclusive lager, wine, vodka and hot drinks are palatable - I got a few bottles of Pepsi Max from the onsite shop as the soft drinks were not great. Apart from that - lovely - cheers!🍻

After reading mixed reviews...im so glad we decided to go here!
We were 2 weeks all inclusive and had such a great holiday.
On arrival in early hours we were given fruit, water and sandwiches. Room was lovely and clean (we were in the stand alone block not far from reception) clean sheets and towels each day. No issues.
Mealtimes we're great, staff were friendly and good choice of food even for fussy eaters.
Outwith meal times you can get Gyros to 5pm and pizza till 6pm.
The pool bar is busy with activities and music but you can go to the other pool behind tennis court or the waterpark area if that's not your thing.
Laurenc, elida and george were great on the bar, with Kyle walking miles for cups ☺️
Tomas and Spaghetti worked hard during day and entertainment at night. The entertainment area was seperate so you could choose to stay at bar and relax at night if you didn't fancy bingo, or karaoke etc
The staff make the place....so hardworking, so friendly, patient and helpful.
I would recommend coming to the Olive garden.

A hotel that is an authentic Greek village.
On the seafront and close to Lindos.
Great food
Amazing staff
I liked the dinner which is not a buffet but a restaurant menu that changes and surprises every day.
