The hotel is good and fully meets the 3-star standard. The room was quite clean, but during our 11-day stay it was not cleaned even once.
The food was good. Breakfast was a bit repetitive, but there was always enough to choose from.
A special thank you to the staff – everyone was very kind, friendly and helpful.
The pool was clean and seemed to be cleaned once or twice a week, depending on how dirty it got.
The hotel also has direct access to the beach, which is a big advantage. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

I cannot recommend Hotel Ona Alborada highly enough — it is an absolute gem! From the moment you arrive, the property impresses with its impeccable cleanliness and warm, welcoming atmosphere.
The apartments are spacious, beautifully maintained, and offer a wonderfully calming environment. Each unit is thoughtfully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a generous wardrobe, a large walk-in shower, a full-size fridge, and well-appointed cooking facilities.
The hotel’s common areas are equally delightful. Guests can enjoy billiard tables and a charming mini library in the lounge area. The outdoor spaces are breathtaking, featuring pristine grounds, an abundance of comfortable sun loungers, and a stunning swimming pool that gives the delightful sensation of swimming in the sea. What truly sets this hotel apart is its peaceful ambiance — it feels like having your own private seaside apartment rather than staying in a hotel.
The location is superb. Just a four-minute walk from a beautiful marina and a small beach, the hotel is surrounded by supermarkets, excellent restaurants, and friendly locals. It’s also conveniently located only 20 minutes by car from the airport, making it the perfect base for exploring the island.
The entire team speaks fluent English and delivers outstanding customer service with genuine care and attention.
We loved every moment of our stay and will definitely be returning. Highly recommended!

The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming. Despite arriving at 3 a.m. due to a delay, someone was there to check us in without hesitation. We were given a full tour of the hotel and personally shown to our rooms, which made a great first impression. The housekeeping team was attentive and just as warm in their approach. The large saltwater pool flowing seamlessly toward the ocean is absolutely stunning. Highly recommend.

This is the 3rd time I stay in “Ona Alborada” and I am really satisfied about this choice during my visits in Tenerife.
I can highly suggest this Hotel and, on my opinion has an excellent ratio qulity/price.
The receptionists and the stuff in general are really nice and polite and helpful in case You need anything.
Starting with the location, on the middle between Las Americas/Los Cristianos and the Tenerife South Airport. It gives You the opportunity to enjoy some relax but at few minutes driving distance from the super crowded night life Tenerife Style.
The hotel has been recently renewed and the camera is neat and clean with a super view (picture attached) has a small kitchen with cooking corner, fridge, toast maker, kitchen utensils (moka for Italian coffee too) and microwave as well.
The mattress is good quality not too firm not too soft and was granting restful nights. All the building was very calm and silent at night and it is a plus in my opinion.
Breakfast is good…in quality and variety and never had an issue.
And the cherry on top of this hotel is without any doubt the swimming pool. It is a huge pool with NATURAL SEA WATER !!! No chemicals no irritations in the skins or eyes and get cleaned completely every 2-3 days. The sunbath area around the pool has and plenty of deckchairs and umbrella, never a risk to remain without a seat available even under peak times!
As I said before I highly suggest this Hotel. I’ll be back for sure.

I stayed there from December 24 to 28 2025. You can read my review on Booking.com, posted on December 31, which includes more photos.
The only good thing about this hotel is the natural seawater pool because there are not beuty beaches around. it’s very expensive, dirty, and there were bed bugs in the pillows. The staff wouldn’t let me change rooms on the first night even after I showed them a bed bug. The second night, after showing them the video, they change me to a different room 12 hours later and put a new guest in my room. The second room was also dirty and I slept in chairs because I found bed bugs inside the pillows. PayPal didn’t refund my money. Neither did the hotel. There’s a review from May 2026 in booking by someone else who also had bedbugs in their room. So the problem is still there.

Rooms okay clean, would like air con in but apart from that rooms what we required. Staff good and food was nice and could not fault this. Pool was good no mad rush to get sun loungers, we all liked the pool temperature. The location is a bit out but a bus trip and your at los cristianos. Five min walk to the local town for more cafes and shops. This is good place and rooms are clean and ok to sleep in, food was good and what we expected staff very friendly and nice time here.

This morning at 4 o'clock we checked into the hotel after a flight from London to Tenerife. The hotel does not correspond at all to the description on the website, there was no basic water in the room for the child to drink. The rooms are of unknown year of manufacture, old and without air conditioning (there is no information on the website). The food in the morning on the "all inclusive" system does not correspond at all. We found dried local takrakans in the rooms. In general, we are disappointed and dissatisfied. The bed is not clean, the beds and mattresses are from the 60s, so it looks like the plaster from the walls in the room is falling off, the fruit in the buffet is spoiled, no one even chooses them

Rooms are very dated and don’t have AC, but fine for just sleeping in. Food was very average but some nights fresh meats were being cooked. Location is great, nice and quite not too many pubs etc around but also not too far away. Plenty of free parking around the hotel if you are renting a car, Overall for the price it was a great holiday.

Rooms are basic and needing updated but that doesn’t stop the amount of people coming here. It’s always busy. Needs air con especially in July, but not available yet . Food repetitive but great. But all inclusive are a bit like this. Cleaners do a magnificent job and servers the same. Really can’t complained due to the price. We’ve been coming here since 2013 and will be back in November. The resort is small but plenty of pubs and restaurants 🥰

I'm quite confused about the bad reviews here. I came with a group of 3. There was supposed to be 4 but one of us couldn't make it due to unforeseen circumstances. Anyhow, our room was clean and spacious, the food was very decent for all-in and all the staff were amazing, especially the bar staff. In my honest and humble opinion, we got what we paid for and then some.
I will happily come back here for another stay. We stayed for 5 nights. It's not for those who want to party, but it's definitely good for a few days chill and if you want some hustle and bustle, you can pay €20 for a taxi into town or a few Euro on the bus.
I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Don't allow the snobs to put you off. It's cheap and cheerful and the food was pretty good.
Things to do in Costa del Silencio
Explore life beneath the waves: While Costa del Silencio’s pebbly beach may not be ideal for sunbathing (there are plenty of stunning hotel pools for that!), the Atlantic waves are perfect for surfing and other watersports. There are also some superb spots for snorkeling and scuba diving - as well as a PADI dive centre - so you can meet the life beneath the ocean’s surface.
Take a hike: the breathtakingly beautiful Montana Amarilla is a great place to stretch your legs and take a hike. It can be a challenge to get to the top, but the views are more than worth it.
Eat, drink and be merry!: Costa del Silencio boasts some of the finest bars and restaurants on the island. Gastro Gallo Restaurante Pizzeria is a great place for pizza, pasta and fresh seafood - perfect for pleasing the whole family.
