Actually there should be a zero 0 star option. Our holiday was ruined by the complete incompetence of the management at this apartment complex ! We arrived very late at night, the key had been left in the apartment. When we walked in we found a huge flood all over the bedroom floor. There was no one on site to report this to so we ended up moving a bed into the lounge area! Three mornings I trapped up to reception to ask what was being done, firstly about the broken air con and secondly about the fact that no one was remotely interested in our discomfort. Unfortunately we quickly realised after a very aggressive and rude discussion with the hotel manager why perhaps there was always a queue of disgruntled complaining guests in reception. We left straight after the conversation, shocked and stunned at his attitude. We lasted three days , and found sanctuary in another of the many wonderful hotels on the island. The managers only interest was in the selling of his rooms not the satisfaction of anyone staying at the apartments. I would suggest that you avoid staying here at all costs! If your after a relaxing holiday you won’t find it at these apartments so long as this manager works here!

Lovely apartments, with communal pool. Very much a family orientated resort, with the beach just a few minutes down the road, where there also restaurants, cafes and shops. Supermarket right by the apartments so is perfect for the making sandwiches for by the pool. The rooms don't have any air con but you can hire a fan we paided, 1 euro a day which we used mainly at night when we were in the room. Overall, it was a very relaxing holiday.

Fantastic holiday with only a few minutes walk to the beach. Their are enough amenities to shop for food and gifts along the promenade. The beach is stunning with plenty of space to relax, go for a walk or even canoe out to a few small caves. Best holiday we've had in a long while. We would definitely go again.

The food and the stuff are the highlight of this place. Stuff speaks several languages and are extremely polite and friendly. Pool is nice. Rooms are cozy and clean. Very quite and relaxed place with loads of free parking around. Few minutes walking distance from the best beach. Highly recommended!!!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Sol Milanos Pingüinos. Everything was superb from start to finish. The hotel exceeded our expectations in every way, and honestly, don’t let the 3-star rating fool you. The location is amazing, right next to the beautiful beach with stunning views. The service from the staff was excellent – everyone was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The food was also surprisingly good, with plenty of variety and something for everyone. The facilities, atmosphere, and overall experience felt much closer to a 5-star hotel than a 3-star one. For the price and what you get, this hotel is incredible value. We would definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Menorca!

Just got back from a weeks holiday at this hotel and from the moment we arrived we had full access to the facilities despite our room not being ready yet, they have a locked room where you can leave your luggage so make sure to pack swimwear and a towel in your hand luggage or at the top of your big case and enjoy the refreshing pool and refuel in the poolside bar. We were on the top floor (11) and despite there being 5 elevators you can spend a few minutes waiting for a lift to go down, going up is quicker, there are stairs but at around 200 stairs from ground to top floor it's not for the faint hearted. The view from our balcony made up for any wait we had for the lifts and the view from the lift area windows was just as pleasing. The room was just that, a room with a bathroom attached but you don't pay to stay in your room, there is a TV for winding down after a long HOT day and with the air conditioning it allows for a good night's rest, it was cleaned daily and is well maintained. There are technically 2 pools but the large pool kinda splits into 2 as the smaller pool beyond the bridge doesn't get used very often so it's a bit quieter. The food in the restaurant was great, there wasn't a crazy huge selection but the variety and quality were top notch everyday I was able to find something new I hadn't tried before which adds to the holiday experience. The evening entertainment was a lot of fun we watched every night except for the 1st and last night's due to tiredness or having an early wake up, there is normally a lids disco for the young ones then a performance for the adults/older kids. The staff were kind and friendly and everytime we passed a staff member in the corridor we always got a greeting. There is a quick beach access gate (2 min walk to beach) at the rear that opens on to the wooden foot paths leading to and along the beach, you can use your key card to re-enter on your way back. Overall a great hotel that made for a fantastic holiday, that offers great entertainment through out the day/evening.

Highly recommend! My partner booked this hotel for my birthday and couldn't be happier. We had free flip flops for both and a beach bag waiting in our room. The towels were in the room and there was no charge for it (no deposit needed). The food is very good and lots of options to choose from. Entertainment activities at the hotel were very well chosen and kids loved it. It deserves more than 3 stars with all facilities they have. Will definitely come back😊

Fantastic hotel, just been for the 4th time and going back in 3 months, rooms are small but who goes on holiday to sit in the room all day anyway. Got better halfway through the holiday when they stopped people reserving sunbeds. Food is what you would expect for a hotel catering for so many people and the quality is good. The kitchen staff must work very hard so its unfair to complain. Overall its a great place to stay and thats why we are going back again. Son Bou itself is beautiful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this 3-star hotel. We travelled with our 4-year-old child and found it to be a great choice for families. The location is excellent, the staff were consistently friendly and welcoming across all services, and the swimming pools were well maintained. Another highlight is the direct access to one of the most beautiful beaches in Menorca. Although it is not the most modern hotel in the area, it offers excellent value for money, combining location, facilities, friendly service and affordability in a very balanced way. If we had to mention one area for improvement, it would be the food selection, which is somewhat limited compared to larger resorts. However, it suited our needs perfectly on a half-board basis and we were always able to find enjoyable options.

Staff at this hotel are AMAZING. In the restaurant staff are all wonderful. Reception are so kind and helpful, going above and beyond to help us with recommendations for where to go on our holiday. The animation team are fantastic shout out to Richi for all the fun in the pool. They are all working hard, but always greet you with a smile. Thank you for making our holiday special. The restaurants are lovely but the rooms could do with some improvement. Can't wait to return.

We had a really fantastic stay at this hotel! All the hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. The receptionist who welcomed us, Lara, was so friendly and helpful the whole week. She recommended places to visit and was very willing to help us. The surrounding area is beautiful and quiet, easy to get to with ample free parking down the roads. The hotel has great facilities, including a fantastic pool and sunbeds. The rooms were very clean, quiet and the aircon was great. The view from the balcony in our hotel room was stunning too.

Fantastic location for total relaxation. This hotel is very quiet but you can visit the sister hotel down the road for evening entertainment and sports. Fantastic staff. Food brill we were half board and there was something for everyone at everymeal. Fresh fruit and salad at all meals. Activities for the kids ran by Richi who was fantastic with getting the kids involved and even some adults. Our first family holiday in menorca and defo not our last.

We had a lovely stay at AluaSun Mediterráneo. The accommodation was comfortable, the hotel was peaceful and quiet, and the food was good with enough variety to keep everyone happy. One thing we really liked was that the evening mini disco took place every night at the larger sister hotel, which is just a pleasant few-minute walk away along the garden pathways. The entertainment team, especially Richi, made a real difference to our holiday. He has endless enthusiasm and gets everyone involved, from young children to adults, without ever making anyone feel pressured. A particular highlight was the Magic Carpet activity, which took place most afternoons. It’s such a unique and surprisingly fun activity that had people of all ages laughing and joining in. Along with the organised sports and games, there was always something to do if you wanted to get involved. Overall, a relaxing holiday in a peaceful setting with great entertainment for families. A special thank you to Richi for helping make our stay so enjoyable!

We have just returned from a week half board here as a group of 7 and a toddler across 4 apartments, we loved it. Great breakfast options, enough choice on the buffet at night, drinks reasonably priced and the other restaurant does lovely pizzas and snacks. Perfect mix of entertainment and relaxation - Richi is great with kids and adults alike! Low key entertainment on a couple of evenings with music, all staff were friendly and attentive, rooms cleaned daily if you wanted it. Bus stop right outside for Mao and two supermarkets in walking distance. We would definitely recommend! Never any sunbed issues like other places.
