⭐ 1/5 – The Worst All-Inclusive Hotel I Have Ever Stayed In
I am extremely disappointed with my stay at Club Cala Romani. This was, without a doubt, the worst all-inclusive hotel I have ever experienced.
The food was absolutely terrible. The quality was so poor that it felt more like prison food than food served in a holiday resort. Breakfast was exactly the same every single day with very little choice. The snack selection was even worse – every day it was basically tuna, bread, onions, vegetables, and the worst-quality burgers I have ever seen.
We paid for an all-inclusive package, but we ended up eating out at restaurants almost every day because the hotel food was simply not edible. As a result, we spent a lot more money than planned, which should never happen when you have paid for full board and drinks.
The service was also disappointing. Some staff members at the bar were unfriendly and often treated guests without basic courtesy or a welcoming attitude.
Another shocking issue was the Wi-Fi. I have stayed in many hotels over the years, and this is the first time I have been asked to pay such a high fee for internet access. In today's world, free Wi-Fi should be a basic service.
The coffee was awful as well, tasting like the cheapest instant coffee powder mixed with water.
I have travelled extensively and stayed in many hotels. Some have been better, some worse, but I have never experienced a hotel operating at such a low standard. I have never felt the need to leave a negative hotel review before, despite staying in many different places, but in this case I feel people should be warned before booking.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially those expecting a genuine all-inclusive experience. It was a very disappointing holiday experience and certainly not worth the money.

We checked in late and there was a queue so we had to wait a while so we were exhausted when we got to our room. Room was very basic but it was clean and a place to sleep. We had a sea view so I was happy about that. Food was good. Pools clean . The beach nearby was stunning. The staff worked their socks off they were amazing! Just one young receptionist that had attitude with me but I didn’t let it ruin my holiday. All on all we had a lovely time.

Great week there as usual, friendly bar staff, friendly reception. Just the manager Alisia needs to be a bit more helpful, it just looks like she pushes her duties onto other people (it helps I speak Spanish). The food is manageable and the smell needs to be rectified in the food area, but other than that it was great. Will be back in August.
Thank you to Joanna at reception who was very, very helpful.

Overall, we had a brilliant holiday and made some amazing memories. The hotel was spotless throughout our stay and the housekeeping staff were always friendly and helpful. Our room was perfect for what we needed and the double shower was a lovely bonus.
The pools were clean and well maintained, with lifeguards always paying attention and keeping an eye on things. We had read lots of reviews beforehand mentioning pool closures, but during our entire stay all three pools remained open with no issues at all.
As quite fussy eaters, we were pleasantly surprised by the food options available. There was always something to eat, with plenty of choice at breakfast, snack times and dinner. The restaurant staff worked incredibly hard every single day and were always polite and welcoming.
What really made this holiday special for us though was the staff — especially Enrique at the bar. Enrique was genuinely one of the nicest, funniest and most professional members of staff we have ever met on holiday. Even with a language barrier, he always made an effort to speak with us, have a laugh, and make us feel welcome every single day. He worked unbelievably hard, especially during busy periods, yet always stayed smiling, friendly and patient. Staff like Enrique are a huge credit to the hotel and honestly made our holiday even more enjoyable.
We also really enjoyed the daytime entertainment around the pool, especially the saxophone performer, who was fantastic. Mia from the children’s entertainment team was also brilliant with the children and always full of energy.
The location of the hotel was ideal, with a private walkway to the beautiful cove beach and plenty of nearby shops, restaurants and nightlife within walking distance.
Overall, we had a genuinely lovely holiday. No hotel is perfect, but we felt the staff worked incredibly hard and deserved recognition for the effort they put in every day. Thank you again to Enrique and the whole team for helping make our stay so memorable.

Loved every second of my stay at Club Cala Romani, from the moment I arrived it felt smooth and welcoming.
Upon check-in, I was so impressed at how quick and easy it was, it honestly felt like I never had to wait at all.
Knowing how check-ins can drag sometimes, it was refreshing to be settled in so fast.
Everything about my room was amazing, spotless, and even came with a lovely special treat waiting for me.
Let me say, Naim was fantastic, friendly, helpful, and one of the most down-to-earth people I’ve met.
On reception, Anna and Joanna were both incredibly kind and guided me whenever I needed help exploring the area.
Very grateful for their warmth and patience, they truly made my stay even better.
Even though the food was a bit basic, that didn’t bother me because I wasn’t really there for the food.
Sometimes I would just grab a pizza or burger and eat in the room, occasionally some Bulgarian treats.
Plus, there’s a beautiful beach just down the green path, peaceful, scenic, and absolutely worth the walk.
Every moment there felt calm and special, the perfect place to unwind.
The whole atmosphere of Club Cala Romani was welcoming and full of good energy.
You can tell the team genuinely care about making guests feel happy.
All in all, an unforgettable stay that I’d recommend to anyone — can’t wait to come back! ❤️

Visited here with my partner and two young children (4&2). We were really impressed with the service we received. We had a room with 1 double bed, 1 single and a travel cot, we required two single beds, reception immediately offered bunk beds or a room swap. We swapped to a bigger room which meant we lost the balcony, however we didn't mind that! Throughout the day the children loved the splash park and pools, although the pools were very cold!
Food was nice but very repetitive. If you have fussy eaters you may find it difficult, its not a restaurant that serves nuggets and things every day for children , it was fine for us as our children fortunately aren't too fussy though.
Evening entertainment was really fun for the children, plus adult entertainment later on (karaoke, music quiz). The bar can get really busy so getting there early to get a table is best
I will say it can get quite nosiy late at night with people making their way back to their rooms after the bar closes. Overall we all reslly enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit again

First, the hotel is clean and well-taken care of. Secondly, the service at the reception was great. Asked them to change my room as top floor rooms always make me dizzy, it was changed instantly to a modern room with non questions asked. Loads of activities from archery to golf. Also, had a lot of snack on. You will never go hungry.
Although very delicious, I think the food options are limited. Also, the wall in the room are thin. Water pressure and hot water wasn’t good enough. Lastly, the Internet was terrible for 2 days.

For a three star hotel, you can’t deny that they do quite well and you get what you pay for. My visit here was for 7 days and my group and I had a great time.
One of the things that I was a bit disappointed by was the food. While there was quite a range of foods and drinks, I just wasn’t impressed by the quality of some of the foods. Again, nothing terrible, I managed to eat everything and I’m not a picky eater but there were certain things that were just a bit poor quality and not very tasty.
The service was great! Staff were kind and helpful whenever we needed anything and actually I felt that it was very pleasant. Same goes for the entertainment in the evening and also poolside entertainment was good too.
Location of the town from the hotel was a bit of a walk, about 20 minutes one way, so not awful but after a couple of days it did get quite tedious.
Overall, we had a great time, food was good enough, drinks were good and rooms were great too. If you are going as friend group, I’d probs just avoid as it was heavily family orientated which we didn’t realise when booking.

A typical 3 star family hotel, my single room was sufficient. The food was varied, the service was fine. The hotel is situated a 20 min walk from the resort, a shuttle bus was available. It won't blow you away, it'll be fine, but I'll be going to a bigger resort next time, maybe Cala D'or

Stayed here with my partner and son and its was nothing short of amazing, the staff were really friendly always made your day especially the animation team, Food was good, its what you expect from an all inclusive, its not gonna be gourmet but it was quite enjoyable, the events every day were loads of fun and the award ceremony at the end of the night was always a blast, only bad thing I can say is the other guests sometimes, thankfully my family are all heavy sleepers so people shouting in the middle of the night never woke us up, but I could imagine how infuriating it would be for people that struggle to sleep or people who get woken up easily, I know we’re on holiday but people got to remember to be polite and respectful, also for any people with young children planning to go here, please keep an eye on your children, even though you’re on holiday and need to relax you are still a parent, So keep an eye on your children.
One last thing, We love Stiv

Better than many other 3 star hotels. Better than a 4 star hotel in the vicinity. The positives - The food is themed differently every day, maybe for a week. Then it's recurring, but is good. Variety of meals. Great variety of fruit. Access to the beach, which is 5 minutes away. Receptionist are very good and are there for you, to ensure whatever issue you have, they fix it. The not so good stuff - loads of ultra processed food at the snack bar. Maybe not enough parasols around the pool. Only two elevators with up to 4 people each. One was broken, and there is no service elevator, so you can imagine hundreds of guests and cleaning people trying to access it.

Hotel and staff are great and always happy to help. Travelled as a single female and had a nice relaxing time.
Room was spotless and maid came everyday.
As often happens with buffet style dining it can be a little repetitive but easily managed to have something different each day.
Poolside snacks are great too!
Highlight for me was the full body scrub and massage at €69 but you need to book as slots fill fast.
Would definitely return

We had an amazing holiday here in Mallorca , the rooms were clean and maintained everyday (if you had the door tag on to say you wanted it cleaned). The pool area was great and there were plenty of sunbeds. The only downside was the food, however there was enough choice to allow you not to go hungry such as the basics (plain rice, chips etc) and the snack bar at dinner we found was better , with burgers, hotdogs and pizza available with fresh salad and fruit. The entertainment was catered towards french , so we went out most nights or sat near the bar. Overall it was a lovely hotel and only a 5-10 minute walk to the beach. Shops are close by , literally across the road!

Last week I was with my family at Samoa and what an experience it was. Truthfully speaking I was a bit skeptical at first after reading some of the reviews on here regarding the rooms, the evening entertainment, the buffet etc. But we found it very different from what I had read. Yes the rooms could use a little more sound insulation but what is there now is not bad at all. It was not disturbing at all. The spread of food during the meals was great. The waiters were working throughout to clean up the dishes etc and don't be surprised if they come to collect your plate and ask you if you are done even if you are still sitting at the table. I didn't find it rude at all. From where I come from, I would call it efficiency! The entertainment team is brilliant. They try to accommodate as much as possible they can speak at least four different languages and they try to say every sentence four times in four different languages. The evening entertainment was and the staff working in that team are excellent with kids. My son was very sad to come from there and wants to go back there in August. He even invited them individually to visit us... The location is perfect. From my room I had the full view of the sea.... Perfect place would be the balcony to get a sip of the morning coffee whilst looking out to the sea... The beach is about 4min walk down from the hotel. It's nice and family oriented with lots of kids playing in the sand although you may come across a few topless bathers. If you would like to have some excursion, there's a office just opposite to the hotel who have conducted tours which you can explore.... All in all, I am very satisfied with the money I spent... It was a wholesome experience... Kudos to the team working at Globally Samoa and thank you for letting me have this wonderful experience!

Overall we had a good stay. The location was great with very pretty beaches nearby, which we loved. check-out was easy and straightforward. The hotel was very clean, cleaners did a great job and the pools were always clean too.
The food was good overall — some dishes were a bit too salty for our taste, but there was a good variety and it changed every day. Drinks were good, although you do have to keep your cup the whole holiday or you would get charged for another but it’s fair enough.
Entertainment was good fun and there were lots of cute little shops around the area. It’s a good place if you’re looking for a family holiday.
We travelled with our autistic son and there were a few safe foods he would eat, such as chips, nuggets and bread, so we found it fairly SEND-friendly.
The only disappointing part was the room situation. We paid extra for a sea view room, but when we arrived the room wasn’t ready until 2pm. Then when we came back at 2, we were told our room had been changed and we lost the sea view aspect we had paid for. We were disappointed that we weren’t offered any refund or compensation for this. Also, you have to pay a deposit for the TV remote and there were hardly any channels available.
Overall, it was a nice and clean hotel, just a shame about the room issue.

Amazing hotel and location, very nice staff. It was looking nice in photos, but in real was looking even better! The pool always clean ! Its a perfect place for couples or family with children.

Enjoyed the hotel. View was stunning. Got a little fed up with the reserved sunbeds at 7am in the morning. Says in your leaflet that they shouldn't be reserved.Room was lovely and clean. Food was a mixture of likes and dislikes, but overall it was fine. No Allergy information so be careful..A lot of steps to negotiate and not disabled friendly at all.Lots of good drinks available and bar staff were really helpful and quick to serve. The area is great and lots to see. Try the boat rides around the coast..Great holiday..

We went as a 6 adults and 2 children group. Transfer was a little long but HSM Calas Park was above our expectations. Staff were spot on ( especially the bar staff ) All were friendly and helpful.
Rooms were clean and a good size, Cleaners came round every day, Towels were changed every day, bed linen was changed 3 times during our week .
I struggle to find what people say about the food and drink. Drinks were spot on, local beer on tap was Estrella so good. Cocktails were generous with the size of the shots and good alcohol content ( unlike other places we have stayed before )
Food was always warm, topped up straight away and lots of choices. There wasn’t a day that we couldn’t choose a meal ( bearing in mind you can eat from 8am til 11pm and drink until midnight )
The pool is a little smaller than it looks on the photos but it’s still a nice pool and we got a sun bed every day. The entertainment staff came around every day to try and get people involved with either aqua-aerobics, pool, table tennis, dancing and water polo.
There is Kids club from 11am with lots of activities for 4yrs plus and the team again are great with the kids.
Evening entertainment was good and varied with most evenings the area was full to watch it.
Thoroughly recommend the massage in the massage room. Both my wife and myself had a half hour back, shoulder and neck massage and it was very good.
I had an issue with our toilet the first day, within half an hour, maintenance had been and swapped out the whole inner working of the toilet, explaining that the salt and limescale get in the workings. All done and dusted within an hour, couldn’t fault it.
Little ones did a pony ride too which they really enjoyed.
All in All, we all had a fantastic stay…
We would recommend this place for a family holiday.

Perfect location 2 min walking to big shopping centre and 5 min walking to beautiful beach food ok but no wow drinks amazing if you want kettle cubs plates etc in your room you have to pay deposit 10 euro but when you return back you get your money back the view from the balcony amazing

Genuinely great place. Rooms are clean and yes used but still looking good. The service is great. The staff are really trying to meet everyone's needs despite not knowing English too well. Location is fantastic and beautiful. There's plenty of stuff to do with kids and around. And if in doubt just enjoy 3 pools, playground two splashes, gym arcade and other things in the hotel's vicinity. I would definitely return here anytime. Thanks Eurocalas.

We absolutely love HYB Eurocalas! From the moment you arrive, the staff make you feel so welcome with their fantastic attitude, friendliness, and true professionalism—nothing is ever too much trouble for them. The whole hotel is impeccably clean, with every area maintained to a really high standard, which makes such a difference to your stay.
This hotel is perfect for families, with a great atmosphere that’s both fun and relaxing. The team go above and beyond to make sure everyone—adults and children alike—has a brilliant holiday.
We’re so impressed that we’ll be returning for our third visit in June 2026, and that alone says everything about how amazing this hotel is. We honestly wouldn’t keep coming back if it wasn’t so special. Highly recommended!

Great for families. Wouldn’t think about going without children. Apartments in Mallorca block are huge and clean. Air con didn’t work but wasn’t an issue as not too hot yet.
Beer not great and plastic reuseable glasses. Food for all inc was good.
Left a bag behind in the food hall, recovered at receptions lost and found but missing couple hundred euro.

This was a first all inclusive family holiday through a jet2 package holiday. we booked it for the 2nd to the 9th of may and only paid about £2k for 3 adults and 2 infants. The rooms are adequate for the short amount of time you’ll be in there.
The resort offers 2 water parks. 4 swimming pools (2 small, 2large) a small but fun arcade for slightly older kids. The resort also has a shop onsite that stocks a lot of your average English essentials (e.g. pg tips 🤣 Pot noodles, drinks, toys, and stuff for the pool like inflatables and pool accessories)
The food hall offers a verity of choice through breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Breakfast consists of your typical continental essentials as well as some more traditional English breakfast (bacon, eggs fried and scrambled, sausages, beans) there’s also fruit, yoghurt and cereals.
Lunch is typically a selection of meats from chicken, pork, beef with Italian dishes such as pasta and pizza with an antipasti servings too. Theres a salad bar and a desserts bar that vary from cakes and brownies to an ice cream machine and wafer comes. Lunch and dinner selections are mostly the same but vary from day to day.
There is a snack bar by the bigger pools that serves lunch and snacky foods like pizza, chicken nuggets and other things. The all inclusive side of things in regards to drinks are fantastic there’s a bar you can get your drinks from or in the food hall and at the snack bar there are self serve taps for, soft drinks, larger, sangria/wine and water.
Just down the road is a very well laid out shopping space that’s a stones throw away from a beautiful blue water beach. This area has everything from gift shops. Rentals for quads, buggies and mountain bikes and also offers leaflets and information on other attractions not far away.
Overall I would fully recommend this as a jet2 package holiday especially if you’re on a budget. All of the staff are friendly and helpful and their English is second nature.

This is a great place for younger children/families. There are 2 waterparks, once for younger kids and once for older kids with slides. The entertainment of an evening is ok, I would come here again with children.

I had a three days stay at this hotel end of May and I’m completely satisfied and I’ll will definitely come back. On the day of my birthday I got a bottle of Cava left in the room. The girls in reception (I have to mention the practitioner Eugine and other smiley and loud girl, forgot her name) which where extremely helpful. The view and location is just what you want to get. The restaurant is spotless clean and all reviews I’ve read before visiting were out of the place. The range of food is massive as for AI hotel, no food poisoning or other issues. I’d say if people expect eating lobsters for the price they pay… The only problem are the sizes of shower cabins, which are too tiny, so could be a an issue for bigger individuals. That was my best experience at Spanish holidays so far.

Came back from this hotel yesterday after staying there for a week and would not to back again!
Firstly the positives the location had beautiful sea views and had access to the beach.
When we got to the hotel the lady who greeted us was lovely and we checked in but we had to wait as our room wasn't ready as it was "being cleaned" however soon as we got into the room it was dirty. There was hair all in the shower and the tables had a sticky substance on them which looked like a drink had been spilled and the mirror was covered in hand print marks. Not a great start we asked reception of someone could come back up to clean whilst we went and got food but they didn't come back for a a couple hours and we was very tired from travelling at this point. Cleaners also came into your room even when had the sign on the door, we had to tell them no thank you but they came in again whilst we had told then no.
When having food at the main buffet there was no selection and food was not labelled correctly or had any allergies labelled and when asking the staff what the food was they had a poor understanding of any English and just said no and walked away. Most of the waiting staff were rude and would push the trolleys of food into people or shout at you if you tried to get food and they was impatient and wanting to add more food to the trays. Also people would just push in front of you was getting your food.
The pasta chef made pasta every day and was lovely.
The pizzeria was okay apart from on the last day the chef was handling the food and kept taking food with his hands out of the trays and eating it and then touching other foods or prepping.
The ramp for wheelchair access was also broken and not great to use.
One night the fire alarm went off late and my sister went down to reception to see what was going on and the reception staff just laughed at the people who were trying to get out of the building. No one was informed what was going on and there were people out of bed and families with small children.
Overall not a great hotel and it was an unfortunate stay and will not be going back. Rude staff, unclean, watered down drinks including the pop and squash, no atmosphere.

Just back from a four night stay and leave with a positive lasting memory. Weather wasn't the greatest but we were welcomed by a great team from all at Globales from Alejandro at Desk check in to Chris the new activity co ordinator who was a charming guy to the Lifeguard who we didn't get her name but worked on her own from 9 till 6 every day working tirelessly. Location is fantastic rooms spotless, and if you read majority of food reviews they are mixed at best with some real horror stories this was not our experience food was good think people need to realise that your in a different country and sometimes food isn't cooked the same way as at home...then you just choose something else more than plenty of variety in my opinion.it was our first Wedding Anniversary and was just what we signed up for
Thanks Globales

Stayed in August 2025. I have mixed feelings about this hotel. I'll start with the positives: location, food, beach, and view from the balcony. Cons:
The staff was very rude, and the lady who checked us in at night was rude and mean. The hotel is showing its age, the cleanliness is terrible, and there's soot coming from the chimney, staining clothes. There aren't enough umbrellas and loungers by the pool.
The biggest downside was that upon arrival, we were placed in room 101, which turned out to be a terrible transitional room. It was dirty, smelly, cramped, and completely unsuitable for overnight stays. No one told us it was a temporary room for the night, which meant we had to wait until 1 PM the next day for another room.It was a nightmare, causing stress and disbelief.
Nina Duvenhage
We visited from South Africa, Cape Town. We stayed at Hotel Globales America in Calles de Mallorca for a week.
The location is absolutely perfect. You are a minute walk away from the most beautiful beach. The views are gorgeous. The shops are extremely nearby and there is a bus stop close by which makes this perfect if you want to make use of the public transport. This gives you easy access to the bus that can take you to the train station, therefor you can explore this magical island.
We had the all inclusive package. Wow! The variety of food which they provide every single day from Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner was magnificent. Well done to the team! You guys really go above and beyond. If you might have skipped one of these meals, there is a pizza bar which serves pizza, burgers, chips etc throughout the day which is also included in the all inclusive.
Enough of the food let’s get to the drinks. There is a wide variety of drink available throughout the day. Juices, hot drinks, cocktails, beer and wine on tap. What more do you want? Absolutely amazing!
The staff are the most incredible human beings. I don’t want to single anyone out. Bar staff, cleaners, reception, waiters and waitresses.. you all can be so proud! You are doing an amazing job! We truly and really appreciated everything you did and continue to do!
I can write an entire book about this place!
But this is enough for now.
In short, it was absolutely amazing. I can highly recommend. Thanks you so much and well done. It’s a trip we’ll never forget.
So much love for all of you.
What to do on a Calas de Mallorca holiday:
Calas de Mallorca holidays are perfect for families, solo travellers and couples. From scuba diving to exploring the Caves of Drach, there is something to do for everyone.
Maintaining its chilled Balearic atmosphere, the nightlife in this area is well worth sampling, with plenty of good quality restaurants dotted along the coastline.
With its island location, there are plenty of excursions to take advantage of via boat – a cruise up to Cala Millor, a day trip to Palma and an overnight stay in the islet of Cabrera.
