San Antonio Holidays
San Antonio, also known as Sant Antoni de Portmany, is the second biggest city in Ibiza and one of the most popular holiday destinations in the Balearics. Holidays here are well known for their mix of relaxed, sunny days and lively nightlife.
Despite the reputation as a party hub, there are a lot of activities for the whole family on holidays to San Antonio. The sunny beaches and more family orientated hotels make for a great holiday for the entire family.
San Antonio resort can be split into three main areas; The Old Town, The Bay and The Sunset Strip:
-
The Old Town is the part of San Antonio that lives up to the general picture of Ibiza. This is where you will find the super clubs and the world class DJs. The most famous club in this part of the island is Es Paradis.
-
On the other end of the spectrum is The Bay, the more relaxed area to the South of the resort. Here you will find a range of family friendly shops, cafes and bars all within a few minutes of the beach.
-
The Sunset Strip is the middle ground. Here you will find the more upmarket San Antonio hotels, bars and restaurants as the glorious sunset views ensure that the rent is at a premium. Whilst the bars get a bit more lively they are still very accommodating of children during the early evening.
So whether it’s an all inclusive family holiday, a self catering clubbing break or something in between, we can help you to get cheap San Antonio holidays on your budget. Start your search today.

We were very pleased with our stay at this hotel. The hotel staff were very friendly. The room was nice and well-maintained. Breakfast and dinner offered a wide variety of both savory and sweet options. Just a few minutes from the hotel, there is a car and scooter rental service and a bus stop, allowing you to reach any destination on the island.

I had a great time at the hotel 😄all the staff was amazing. My favourite staff was David 🎉excellent customer service from everyone at the hotel. Very clean, good location, great food.

The hotel's location is good and easily accessible, with free and ample parking available nearby. However, it seems like they're cutting corners in many areas, which doesn't meet my expectations for a hotel in this category. On the positive side, the reception and bar staff were very motivated and friendly! Criticisms: the overall complex looks neglected and unloved, and the outdoor staff seemed completely unmotivated. Cleanliness is not guaranteed throughout the hotel. There's mold in the bathroom and air conditioning vents, and the rooms are cleaned very sloppily. The previous guests' dirt and hair are often left behind, and it feels like they're just sweeping it under the rug (or in this case, out onto the balcony). The breakfast offerings were cold three times in a row. The rooms are very noisy, especially when partygoers come back late at night. The fridge in the room doesn't work properly, and the TV remote doesn't work at all. The coffee cups were dirty, and there was no coffee to speak of. In summary, it feels like they're trying to squeeze as much as possible out of minimal offerings due to high demand. If you're looking for a party and don't mind the state of the rooms, you might be fine. But if you expect a certain level of cleanliness, health, and hygiene, I'd recommend avoiding.

Friendly staff who made us feel welcome. The room was clean and everything worked fine. Only minor point but there was only one chair in the double room as maybe not room for two. Balcony with chairs overlooking the small pool. We ate breakfast and dinner - there was plenty of choice. As a vegetarian I was very happy with the many different dishes to choose from. Great location too. Not far from the seafront, bus station and a Lidl. Quiet hotel at night.

About 5 - 7 mins walk to sea side.. cafe del mar is around 12 mins and u can watch a sunset from there. Its a no service hotel. They gave complementary water bottles only once inspite we stayed for 2 nights. Lidl is just 3 mins walk. Breakfast was good. Overall all satisfactory experience.

Great Hotel, the staff were always very friendly and helpful. The rooms are pretty basic but we just needed somewhere to sleep.
The only gripe we had was that the food was not good at all. Not a lot of choice, the meat was constantly overcooked, chewy and dry and the salad bits looked very tired.
Also, the 'chicken' burger that is advertised in the snack bar is not chicken. I was informed it was 'a mix' 😬
After eating it I had an extremely upset stomach that evening.

We had a great short break here. The room was clean and comfortable.Lots of choices at the buffet and bar. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend!

upon arrival, we were told we weren’t allowed any drinks or food until 12pm, and they didn’t know when our room would be ready. the room had damage up the walls, on the desk, and no water!! for all inclusive, you would at least expect bottled water. upon request of this, we were pointed to a vending machine which cost $2.60 for a small bottle.
the walls are so thin they may as well not have any. you can hear people vomiting, toilets flushing, doors slamming. obviously with it being a party island you don’t expect a brilliant nights sleep but this was shocking.
we had people next door getting drunk and trying to jump over to our balcony and banging on our door.
the food was very very repetitive, basic and cold. they have a microwave to re-heat the food, but on the temperature dial for where the food is kept “warm”, it remains in the danger zone (5-63 degrees)
i stayed away from meats because of this.
the only reason i am giving it 3 stars is because of the bar and pool bar staff. they were absolutely lovely, and so so friendly.
Will unfortunately not be staying here again.

Great hotel! Great location. Great stay. And thank you so much Emilia and Juanma for your great attention and recommendations for the motorbike renting and visit to Cala Comte and Cala Bassa!!

I booked 1 week trip, every single night I was kept awake but neighbours shouting and screaming until approx 6am! Bins being emptied by a lorry at around 5am every day, illuminated blue lights shine through bedroom window 24/7 no matter what you do.
In general the appearance of the hotel is good, staff are polite, and always cleaning. Pools freezing cold but clean.
Would not stay again due to lack of sleep, but a very central hotel if you don’t mind the noise!

Great location and magnificent views. There is still too much development, grazing, real estate for sale, and so on) and the truly protected areas should be expanded. But the rain forest near and around the Volcano is truly a treasure.

A must see attraction in costa Rica. A non-active volcano, which last erupted in 2010. We took a guided tour from our hotel and took the more difficult trail. The scenery is very beautiful and the guide gave the extra information needed to make it perfect.
Alphonsr99
Arenal Volcano is breathtaking from any angle, but seeing and filming it from above is truly incredible. The aerial view shows its perfect cone shape and the surrounding natural beauty in a unique way.
An ideal spot for photography and video, and a must-see destination to understand why Arenal is one of Costa Rica’s most iconic places.
Shamon Smalls
Hiking the Arenal Volcano was a true bucket-list experience and one I’ll never forget.
The hike is picturesque from start to finish, with stunning views that constantly remind you how powerful and beautiful nature can be. One absolute lifesaver was packing ponchos ahead of time—the weather here is unpredictable and can shift quickly from bright and sunny to overcast and pouring rain in a matter of moments.
I highly recommend hiring a walking tour guide. Having someone explain the rich geological and cultural history of the volcano adds an entirely new layer to the experience. I was genuinely shocked by how much history there is behind Arenal and the surrounding terrain—it transforms the hike from just a scenic walk into an educational journey.
The hike itself offers a solid workout, but it’s well worth the effort. You leave not only physically accomplished, but also with a deeper appreciation for this incredible natural wonder.

Love a Meliá hotel. The hotel in itself was great. Spacious rooms. Clean bathrooms and beds. Mini fridge restocked regularly. Great breakfast options.
Rooftop terrace was fab. Drinks are a little pricey but it’s Ibiza.
Reception Staff were sometimes incredibly friendly and helpful or incredibly rude and unprofessional.
The glasses in the room were never clean or changed. You could see the tide mark on the glasses from the previous drinks.
Air con took two days to cool the room but never down to actual cool temperatures.
I’d come again I’m sure

This hotel is a total vibe and easily deserves a five-star rating. The modern design and chill atmosphere make it the perfect spot for an Ibiza getaway. I loved the rooftop area; the views of the sunset are absolutely breathtaking and probably the best in the bay.
Everything from the room decor to the poolside music felt curated and fresh. The staff were super attentive and always had a great attitude. Plus, having direct access to the beach and being close to local spots was very convenient. If you want a stylish, high-energy yet relaxing stay, this is definitely the place to be. I cannot wait to come back next summer.

The rooftop pool staff were extremely unprofessional, arrogant, and disrespectful towards guests. They seemed to look down on customers and their attitude made us feel unwelcome throughout our stay.
For a hotel of this standard, it was also surprising that there was no valet parking service available at the entrance.
Additionally, the rooms are very poorly insulated. We could clearly hear noise from neighboring rooms and hallways, which made it difficult to relax and get a good night’s sleep.
Overall, this hotel did not meet our expectations at all. The service, comfort, and guest experience were disappointing. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel.

Our 2nd stay here, we had a lovely time, great hotel, easy and quick to get taxis, about 10 euro to Mambo area. Breakfast is amazing it's the best I've had anywhere in the world and should be commended. Rooms clean, staff attend daily to clean. Beach towels free for use around hotel and beach. The lunch food was delicious. The rooftop bar waitresses are miserable and need to be a little more friendly, a smile would have been a start. The DJ Jesus Martino was amazing, both breakfast tunes and rooftop too, fantastic. The food at the rooftop bar on our first evening was not so great, cold and just basic for the cost, I would not recommend eating here. I would definitely return here but would eat out after breakfast. Reception staff friendly and lovely to see the cleaners keeping the place spotless.

⚠️ Important Security Notice – Guest Experience
I would like to share an important notice for guests considering staying at this hotel.
During our stay, we noticed that cash left in our room (not placed in the safe) was stolen. We immediately informed the hotel, however the hotel did not take responsibility. Later, we were informed that there are no security cameras on the guest floors. 🚨‼️
For this reason, guests traveling with valuable items such as expensive bags, shoes, or accessories that cannot fit into the room safe should be extremely cautious. Due to the lack of cameras, it is unfortunately not possible to make any claims in such situations.
In our opinion, this hotel is not suitable for guests traveling with high-value personal belongings. We strongly recommend future guests take this into consideration before booking.

Activities
The Bay area of San Antonio is the place to be in the daytime. When the night’s activities are finally over there is no better place to rest your head than on the soft sands of the beach.
If you had a more relaxed evening you may wish to take part in some of the more adventurous activities that San Antonio holidays have to offer. These range from diving and snorkelling to riding jet skis and banana boats.
There a variety of shops in both the Bay and the Sunset Strip areas and a bustling street market in the Old Town where you can pick up souvenirs to remind you of your holiday to San Antonio. Porcelain and leather goods are a local speciality.
The laid back lifestyle of San Antonio and Ibiza in general leads itself to a lot of dining out. There are a lot of superb quality restaurants near to the San Antonio hotels to cater to this. There are many options available, from seafood to traditional Spanish cuisine, to British classics.
There are a few famous clubs in San Antonio, such as Café Del Mar, Eden and Es Paradis. These clubs regularly attract world class DJ talent, such as Fatboy Slim, Pete Tong and Paul Van Dyke. A world class clubbing experience is guaranteed on San Antonio holidays to those who seek it.
