My daughter &I have just stayed at the Skiathos Palace hotel and I must say it was just perfect. The room we had was clean and stylish with a fantastic large balcony that had the most amazing view.
The food was excellent, we are both vegetarian but plenty on offer including soya milk at breakfast. Our waiters Costas &Thanos were extremely attentive, always had a smile and made us so welcome. The reception staff were helpful at all times and our room had fresh towels and cleaned everyday.
The steps to the hotel from the beach were quite steep however there was a shuttle bus to make it easier for guests.
I would definitely return to the Skiathos palace Thankyou for a fantastic holiday !

We stayed at the hotel in September booked through Jet2.
We liked the hotel, it makes the most of its 1971 construction with matching stylish decor. Half board food is good especially the BBQ night.
There are lots of steps and no lift, we were aware of this before we booked and did not cause us any issues. There is a minibus to the beach if you want to use it.

We had a fantastic time at Skiathos Palace. The room was very comfortable and spotless, with a beautiful sea view. The sunset from the balcony was truly magical.
The pool was perfect for relaxing and enjoying our drinks, and the restaurant offered amazing food with a view over all of Skiathos. The hotel is surrounded by greenery in a very beautiful part of the island.
We will definitely choose it again for our next holiday.

Great food (plenty of choices, good taste, barbeque nights, live music nights) , clean rooms(regular cleanings around 9am), good location, right near koukounaries beach, has its own transportation to town which is complimentary it goes from 6 pm to 9pm every hour. However...the staff is a bit anoying, right when you tako your last bite they take your plate, they make mistakes in drink orders, they dont have allot of feeling for the job. There's no elevator, so the walks to some of the rooms are pretty long, there is much humidity in the rooms, our door key got stuck a couple of times (i guess its because its a pretty old hotel and they dont maintain some stuff). All of this would not matter that much if they didnt practically rob us and all of the other guests that stay here. Here's the thing. On google and trip advisor it says they are a 4 star hotel(our agency said the same back in our country), which by the looks they deserve, more or less... But on our leave at the reception they charged us the tourist tax a stagering 150e for 10 nights, which i checked for a 4* hotel is 10e per night and for 5* hotels is 15e since of this year. The receptionists told us they were a 5* hotel, which believe me they are nowhere near, nor it is stated and displayed anywhere else. That ruined the experience we had with this hotel.

Great location but steep steps and no lifts! Bus stop right outside hotel, turn right out of hotel and a couple of lovely tavernas and bars, beautiful beaches quite a walk but worth it, watch out for hotel private beach and Koukanaires beach, parasol and 2 sunbeds are €30 but Elias beach ⛱️ only €15.
