I just finished my stay at Malahini Kuda Bandos Resort, and I feel compelled to write a glowing review. From the very first moments on the island, it was instantly apparent that this was going to be a truly special experience.
The welcome from the staff was warm, friendly, and genuinely heartfelt. Since I was staying in one of their four luxury beachfront villas, we skipped reception and was escorted directly to my room. And oh my… the room!
It was absolutely stunning — spacious, beautifully decorated, incredibly private, yet with direct access to the sea. The villa featured a private pool, a whirlpool, and a large deck with two separate outdoor seating areas. Inside, every detail felt first-class. It was honestly one of the nicest suites I have ever experienced.
The bathroom alone was spectacular, with a huge soaking tub overlooking the ocean, beautiful double vanities, and an elegant shower. One of the most unique features, however, was the outdoor garden shower. It truly felt like showering in the middle of a tropical jungle.
Walking around the island was peaceful and breathtaking, with beautiful views of neighboring islands and the endless expanse of the Indian Ocean. The sand was some of the softest and whitest I can ever remember seeing. The water temperature was perfect, the marine life incredible, and the snorkeling absolutely spectacular.
The dining experience was equally impressive. There were plenty of fresh, healthy options, along with a large and diverse menu to order from. Every member of the staff was attentive, friendly, and professional throughout my stay.
When it was finally time for bed, I was blown away by the comfort of the mattress and the quality of the linens. It truly felt like every detail had been thoughtfully considered. After a wonderful night’s sleep, breakfast the next morning was just as enjoyable as dinner had been the night before.
I was genuinely sad to leave, but I took home many wonderful memories that I will cherish for years to come. If the scale allowed it, I would easily rate this resort a 10 out of 10.

Beautiful island that really feels like a small jungle in the middle of the ocean. The nature, beach and atmosphere are amazing. The staff were very kind and clearly put a lot of effort into making guests feel welcome. I really felt well taken care of during my stay. A great experience overall.

I spent two nights in a Beach Villa with Pool for my birthday, and it was pure bliss. If you're looking for the perfect blend of privacy, serenity, and incredible food, this is it.
Highlights of my stay:
• Total Privacy: The pool villa felt like a secluded sanctuary tucked away in the tropical greenery.
• The Vibe: Everything from the sandy-floor lounges to the beach swings screams "tropical minimalist" perfection.
• Top-Tier Dining: Every meal was delicious—especially the poolside lunch.
• Unbeatable Views: The sunsets here are some of the best I’ve ever seen.
The ideal spot for a special celebration or a quiet getaway. I loved every second!

We had a wonderful stay at Malahini Kuda Bandos. The entire experience was memorable from start to finish. The island is beautiful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing.
A special thanks to Subha and the entire crew for their warm hospitality and excellent service throughout our stay. Every staff member was friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, which made our vacation even more enjoyable.
The food, beach, and overall ambience were excellent, and we truly felt welcomed and cared for during our visit. We would highly recommend Malahini Kuda Bandos to anyone looking for a relaxing Maldives getaway and would love to visit again in the future.

Unforgettable Experience: 10/10
Starting from the very beginning, the transfers to and from the airport were perfectly planned and seamless.
We stayed in a Sunrise Villa, and it was simply incredible. The room was spectacular—very comfortable, spotless, and both the bed and pillows were amazing. The highlight, however, was the private pool; we spent the majority of our days enjoying it.
The hotel beach is breathtaking, and the same goes for the social areas. Regarding the dining, the buffet is delicious and offers a wide variety of options to choose from. One night, we treated ourselves to a private seafood dinner on the beach, and it was truly outstanding.
We also went on an excursion to swim with nurse sharks, which was a fantastic experience.
Last but not least, the hotel staff is incredible. Our favorites were Vanesa, Aizat, Smith, Leona, Rosi, Jahangeer, and Kumara. Their service was exceptional and truly elevated our entire stay.
A few tips for future travelers:
• Budgeting: Come prepared for extra expenses. Even with a plan, additional meals, drinks, and excursions can be quite costly.
• Essentials: I highly recommend bringing water shoes and insect repellent.
I would definitely return without a second thought. Final rating: 10/10!
