I’m a little surprised the reviews contrasted with my own experience here 😅
Rooms were a little tired. I picked here after many nights at hotels double this price… so to be honest I only have myself to blame for selecting a more budget friendly break… it is a value for money offering.
Our first impressions were the rooms smelling funky (update: and this smell lingered throughout our stay) and the furniture looking a bit tired. Hopefully they plan to refurb a little on the interiors to get this place feeling fresh again. Great bonus having a kids club and characters dressed up around the pool!
Location near the markets - a big bonus.
Update: breakfast both days were very good value for this price point. So, I’d say this I definitely a good VFM hotel in Hua Hin. It is not on the beach however, you need to take a tuk tuk to the beach. It wasn’t a problem as the kids club and pool kept us very occupied.
We ultimately changed hotels to one what was beach fronting, at more of less double the price point.

Had an amazing stay at Amari Hua Hin! The service here is truly outstanding — every staff member was warm, professional, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and come with a beautiful balcony view of the pool and sea — perfect for relaxing mornings.
The buffet breakfast was one of the highlights — a great mix of Thai and international dishes, fresh fruit, pastries, and made-to-order eggs. Everything was well-prepared and constantly replenished.
The hotel has a peaceful atmosphere, a lovely pool area, and a quick buggy ride to the private beach club. Overall, it’s a perfect blend of comfort, great food, and exceptional service. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway in Hua Hin! 🌴✨

We really enjoyed our stay at Amari Hua Hin. The daily breakfast offered great variety and quality, and the Aqua restaurant was another highlight with delicious dishes and a relaxing atmosphere. We also loved the Breeze Spa — the treatments were wonderful and added an extra level of relaxation to our trip. Overall, a fantastic stay!

A first-rate 5-star hotel offering good service, though not quite great. The breakfast is decent, and the facilities are well maintained. Just a heads-up: you’ll need to enjoy being around children, as there are plenty of families here. The real standout is the spa, it’s exceptional and easily the best reason to stay at the hotel.

Amari Hua Hin isn’t directly on the beach⛱️🌊, but there’s a walkway and buggy service to get you there easily. 😉The hotel has a huge lawn with lots of activities like football, badminton, and mini golf—plus a gym and a beautiful pool. ✨🏊♀️
The design is stylish, rooms are super clean and up to standard. They even have a pet-friendly floor! 🐾 My cat loved it—hotel prepared a bed, cat condo, litter box, and even snacks. 💕 There’s also a welcome set that made us feel really special. Highly recommend! 🌊🐱
