We had the most perfect holiday and stay at Melia Phuket Mai Khao. From check in until check out, the staff, resort and everything in between far surpassed our expectations. To begin with the staff here are exceptional and so polite, helpful and attentive. We really appreciate all their kindness and service and couldn’t ask for any more. We booked one of the private pool rooms with all inclusive and couldn’t recommend this any higher. The buffet breakfast was delicious and there was large variety, the lunch and dinner was also delicious and so filling and there was so many different foods to select from. Same with the drinks, they were delicious and strong and a large selection. The spa treatment was also wonderful and relaxing. Moving on to the actual resort, it is absolute gorgeous and so well maintained. Everything is clean, modern, in great condition and just as described. Both pools were gorgeous. Our room was large and air conditioned and had everything we wanted. Thank you so much for making our holiday and stay so memorable and amazing. We will be back for sure!
ALSO, the resort knew it was my birthday even though we didnt mention it, and they were so lovely and surprised me for it. I came back to the room and the lovely staff has written happy birthday with bamboo leaves and left a delicious cheesecake with candles. This was so caring and sweet and I am so thankful!

We had the most amazing stay at Melia Mai Khao. The staff were exceptionally and really made the stay feel special. We had the suite with an outdoor bath and it was beautiful. Incredibly clean and felt very private and secluded. We ventured down to Nai Yang beach on our second last day and barely stayed an hour before rushing back to the beautiful sanctuary of Melia. The food was great and we had a special dinner prepared for us by the head chef. 5 stars all round.

Our stay here was one of the best overall experiences we've had at a resort. The room and the private pool were spacious, comfortable, clean and well maintained. The bed, linens and seating were comfortable, and the amenities of a high quality. The layout of the room and pool area was perfect, with easy access to the shower and bathroom from the pool, and a combination of sunny and shaded areas/times of day. We spent so much time lounging here and loved every minute of it.
The rest of the resort was equally impressive, with two other pools that were never too busy or crowded, plenty of poolside seating as well as loungers by the beach, and access to the quiet and secluded Mai Khao beach. The food was of a high quality, both the a la carte lunch and dinner options as well as breakfast, which changed daily and featured a fantastic mix of Asian, Spanish and typical western breakfast choices. Everything we ate, at breakfast and at other times of day, was delicious, particularly the Thai options. And the cocktails were fantastic as well. Service was friendly and attentive throughout our stay, mostly notably the very kind and warm service in the restaurants. And we enjoyed the well equipped gym as well.
This is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a little luxury for a very reasonable price. Overall a fantastic stay and a resort I would both return to and recommend to others!

It was my first time at this hotel, and I had the chance to stay there on my honeymoon. I would definitely recommend this hotel as it's very luxurious and quiet. I wouldn't recommend it for a family trip with kids, but rather for a more romantic/couples trip. Food was very limited. There's only one restaurant. So if you are staying more than 2 nights, the food can be a little bit repetitive. Make sure you either eat outside or at other hotels. The pool is very relaxing and scenic. The nicest thing about the location is the beach. During the good season, you would have the opportunity to have a dip in the sea (if the flag is green/yellow).
Staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
Breakfast can be somehow limited. If you are not used to Asian breakfasts, you can find it a bit difficult and repetitive as well.
Other than that, everything is perfect and I would definitely visit again.

It is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at in my whole life. I had so much fun staying at this wonderful place with my husband. We enjoyed the food, although it could’ve been better. The staff were amazing and well-trained. We loved the pool—we got a pool villa and didn’t leave the hotel even for a minute. It was such a wonderful time.
