3 Star Kos Holidays

My Family and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Greek hotel! From the moment we arrived, Nikos and the staff made us feel genuinely welcome and cared for. The atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and especially family-friendly, which made traveling with children so much easier and more enjoyable. The food was absolutely excellent — fresh, delicious, and with plenty of variety every day. We especially loved the local Greek dishes and the quality of the lunch and dinner buffet as well as dessert. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and very well maintained, with a lovely pool area and a peaceful holiday atmosphere. What truly made the experience special was the kindness and professionalism of the staff, honorable mention for Dimitra - who was always smiling, attentive, and ready to help. We would happily return and highly recommend this hotel to families looking for a relaxing and memorable holiday in Greece!

One of the best vacations I've ever had. The food was simply excellent—the best I've experienced in Greece so far. The selection was huge, and even during the entire stay, I didn't manage to try everything. The hotel grounds are beautiful, well-maintained, and full of cats, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The rooms were clean and serviced every day. The only thing I might improve is having more storage space in the family room, but it was not a major issue. A big thank you goes to the owner, Dimitra. She was very kind, helpful, and always ready to assist. We also really appreciated that she personally came to say goodbye to us when we left. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is not looking for a busy resort, but rather a place where they can truly relax, unwind, and enjoy a pleasant atmosphere.

Building is tired, some of the staff are happy, I don’t think it’s worth paying extra for all inclusive as the food isn’t worth it and neither is the drink really. However it’s nice and quiet, good location just outside of town takes about tens mins to walk to beautiful food and drink and beach.

Lovely peaceful holiday location, food was excellent and rooms cleaned with fresh towels every day, Clean pool and friendly staff. 15 minute walk to the beach or take the free shuttle bus and 10 min walk to main shops and local tavernas

Great location and great hotel. The room was cleaned everyday. We went half board and the evening meals were very nice and fresh. We only had the breakfast once because it was very basic so we waited until 10.00am for the snack bar to open. The snack pool bar was great and George and Valantis always had a smile on their face. Nothing was too much for them. We had a sea view on the top floor so it was nice waking up to that everyday. I do think the Air conditioning price for 1 week was a little expensive. It was July so you definitely can not do without it. The room does have a metal key card so the air-conditioning unit will automatically switch off when you leave your room! So you do go back onto your room with it being very warm .The reception team are very happy and always willing to help you if you have a question. The pool was nice and big but would benefit from a clean everynight and morning. Many bugs and flower petals get in it and it just needs a good clean before its open at 10.00am and after the closing time at 6.00pm. I would definitely stay here again and I do recommend it for what we paid. Overall a nice hotel in Kardamena close to all amenities.

A bit dated room, clean though. Showering can be messy. Staff helpful. Breakfast is continental. Location is perfect for north end of the strip.

Hi everyone. Just looking for some info please. We arrive around 1am next month and whilst my wife will just want to sleep, I'll be desperate for a beer. Is the bar in the hotel still accessible at that time or is there any bars close by ? Thank you in advance

I had a stroke whilst on my first holiday here. Only i didnt understand what had happened to me.One member of staff treated me horrifically by shouting at me several times for trying to use my mobility scooter to get to my bedroom as i was unable to walk after my stroke. Do not stay here if you have walking difficulties.

Staff were amazing! Very happy joyful people that put a smile on my face every time. Self check-in that can be done on their website in advance of your holiday to save time with the check in process was great. Extra charges for air con and safe but I didn't use them. My room was really dated though, furniture was wobbly, bed was hard, my bathroom door was so creeky, the noise levels in general were really bad that everything echoed in the hallways, you could hear other guests sleeping and coughing, the balcony door had zero soundproofing, honestly didn't get a good sleep all week there. Shower was a nightmare to use as the shower curtain only covered one side of the shower and soaked the toilet and toilet paper. But it is in an excellent location next to some gem spots. 5 mins stroll to the beach next to banana beach bar, extremely underrated and so peaceful!

The hotel is really old and poorly maintained. Staff is not really friendly, you have to talk to them a lot to get them do something for you. The pool feels unsafe in terms of water quality, but is monitored every day. Rooms: old, poorly cleaned (under the bed is like a dust bin). Several things were already broken or broke down during our stay. The bed was awful, suited for only the fattest of people (who are plenty in the hotel). Personnel: not really friendly and willing to talk to you. Owner shouting to the personnel when something went wrong. Food: terrible, it's medium warm at most, french fries just defrosted. But hey, we did not get sick. I think they keep the leftovers for next day and forget to warm it up. Location: that's the only big plus if you like a good, quiet sleep. It's somewhat in the middle of nowhere. So the amount of drunk English people disturbing your night is kept to a minimum. But therefore not suited for people who'd like to be in short distance of the Kardamena party scene.

had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with their warm and attentive service. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and any questions I had were handled quickly and professionally. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. I especially appreciated the attention to detail—from the cozy bedding to the well-maintained amenities. It truly felt like a home away from home. The hotel’s location was also a major plus, making it easy to explore the surrounding area and access nearby attractions. On top of that, the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting, which made it easy to unwind after a long day. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable stay. I look forward to coming back again in the future

We recently stayed at a hotel in Kos and honestly it was one of the worst experiences we’ve had. The rooms were dirty, the food was not nice at all, and even the drinks tasted awful. The service was poor and the hotel was far out of the area with not much around it. We paid over £1,000 for this holiday but ended up changing hotels because we simply couldn’t stay there any longer. We paid extra to move into Atlantis Hotel in Kos Town and the difference was unbelievable — 1000% better in every way. Clean rooms, much better atmosphere, better service, and actually enjoyable. Very disappointed with our original hotel experience and would not recommend it to anyone.

Thank you so much for my stay, you guys are great and the hotel is gorgeous! Such a warm and homely feel to this place, everyone so helpful and kind. Take care of yourselves, see you again soon :)

Very disappointed with this hotel. Reading over reviews on the love holiday site about this place are exactly right. Absolutely awful place not a 4 star hotel. False advertisement. Food very poor choice couldn't eat there as we found mould on a few of the items. 1 being tinned fruit in a plastic bowl. Furry mould all over the top of it. And we all know how long that stuff lasts when its in the tin in our cupboards. Then thought I have scrambled egg on toast. When approaching the bread to toast mould all the way through it. No choice of different foods. We felt we cohldnt eat there and had to eat out every day after paying for all inclusive option Same every day. Room was terrible wires hanging of the wall taps away from the wall. No guard rail on a low balcony. Very dangerous. Drinks was useless warm and again not much to choose from. No WiFi in the rooms. The grounds are not like the photos old banger in the pathway bath tubs broken down fridges. Pallet of old stoves broken down billiard table pallets every where. No entertainment we was told not the season for it we went 16th June. All in all absolute rubbish run down place. Do NOT waste your money like we did PLEASE. At 1 point there was 5 of us in the hotel and that included me and my Mrs. 89 year old lady digging up the garden outside of our room no help from anyone this was the owners mum digging. Why he just sat there smoking and drinking coffee all day. No massages facilities like stated when sold to us. When ask to look at the gym was fobbed of they couldn't find the key. No snacks through out the day like stated again. Owner told the staff not to put them out because not enough people. No entertainment like stated yet again. Hairdryer that was stated with the room wasnt there had to go down and hire one. Owners are just money grabbing and not fulfilling what they are stating hotel provides. The onside shop if thats what you want to call it never open.when speaking to the owners it felt like they have given up on the hotel saying they are getting to old for it all. Do us a favour and sell it let someone else sort it out. Other hotels on the island very busy and so much better.

Just back from a lovely weeks stay at Tigaki's Star. What a little gem of a place!! We were dubious reading some of the reviews. However, we're really pleasantly surprised. Yes, the rooms are a little dated and the breakfast is repetitive. But the hotel itself was absolutely pristinely clean, the grounds were immaculate and the pool was well maintained. The snack bar was fantastic value for money and had a wide range of food and drinks available. My personal favourites were the latte, banana milkshake and the frozen daiquiri in rotation 😋 the hotel is only a short walk away from town and to the many beaches available. Our favourite beach was without a doubt Happy Flamingo beach which we didn't even know was there the first 2 days 😂 as you come out the hotel, veer left, past the little church and follow the path round. You should come to signs for Flamingo beach (you won't be disappointed) had the best views of the sunset and we were swimming until 10pm most nights! Overall the hotel was a hit with us and we would absolutely come and stay again - don't let the negative reviews sway you too much, check for yourself.

Lovely hotel, relaxing atmosphere, comfortable rooms and beautiful grounds. Great pool. A few minutes walk to the beach, which is also very nice. Close to the busy tourist centre of Tigaki but calm and quiet. Most important - the helpful and friendly staff made our short stay a real vacation!

The hotel is in a very nice location, on a quiet edge of the city tigaki, but only 5 min of walking to the strip. It’s right next to the salt lake and also close to the beach. The service was really excellent and the pool was great. The rooms were good, but the smell wasn’t too nice after cleaning especially. The breakfast was nice with some local goods and the poolbar was also good. The atmosphere was fitting for family’s and also couples and it over all the hotel had a really nice traditional Greek charm. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who wants a typical greek experience with a good location and a reasonable price!

Excellent 2 week stay in September 23. Reception staff very pleasant and helpful. Pool and pool bar great. Food was very good. Lady behind bar was very nice. Had an issue with the air con, they tried to fix it but couldn't so swapped our room. Breakfast was decent, not sure what some people expect. We were in main block and had a lovely pool/mountain view as well as salt lake. Shower was over the bath and quite tight, but it was manageable. Great location, nice and quiet but near everything. No complaints at all

Wi-Fi in the rooms is not available. If you need to connect or make a call you have to go outside of your room closer to reception. But this was not the worst part. The worst part was how the personnel treated me when I told them about the problem. One of the managers told me: - that Wi-Fi was absent on the island, not only in my room (not true, because at reception it worked perfectly at any time) - that they do not have to provide Wi-Fi to the guests and that the guests should be happy that the hotel does it free of charge, because they could have charged the guests for Wi-Fi additionally - I asked to check my cancellation conditions but she told me to feel free to go to another hotel and that they will not refund anything although it was just my arrival day and she could have checked the options for early cancellation. This woman was just bullying me and obviously enjoying the process. The other two staff members on reception were hiding their eyes from embarrassment while listening to her. This situation ruined my impression from the hotel and unfortunately from the country in general (this was my first time in Greece, my first impression). It was such a contrast to the way I was treated in Turkiye in the hotels/restaurants just a couple of days before. I can't believe that such a rude treatment and unprofessionalism is allowed in the service sector.

This hotel is straight on the harbour front. The staff are so friendly and helpful. When we arrived the guy on reception told us everything we needed to know. Breakfast could be a bit better, could do with a toaster. Rooms are clean and nice just 1 thing. We only had 1 plug socket in the room so made things difficult when we wanted to charge both phones and use my hairdryer. Pool. Doesn't open till 10am to me is a little late I like to relax by the pool after breakfast but had to go to our room for an hour. Don't expect the Ritz but you will have a great holiday .

Rooms very old fashioned, but spacious and cleaned every day. Reception men very friendly and helpful. Pool bar lady very nice. Give tips straight to her not via credit card. Learned that boss will take tips then. Poor breakfast, cold eggs, bacon and other stuff which should have been hot. When stated out to personnel they ignored it. Got ill to stomach. Using gym clothing to work - not giving professional image. Cleaning floors while guests eating. Nice location close to beach and town.

Gucci manor boutique Polokwane

Unfortunately very old rooms(bath taps are rusted and old),carpets in hallways need Serious Attention, breakfast not bad..machine coffee delicious..(sad that pool closes at 6pm,the best part of the day)not worth price for standard of rooms

Premier Cleaning

Not bad at all for a 3 star hotel. Right across from the port. Lots of beggers near just take caution but is ok otherwise.

It’s the location that makes this a good hotel. The hotel itself is very basic and rather worn. Breakfast is very simple – not even proper bread. The reception staff come across as stiff and artificial, almost as if they were bothered by questions or requests about the rooms. We happened to be there on 15 August, when Greece celebrates its second largest feast, Panagia, often referred to as the Easter of the summer. People gather at churches dedicated to the Virgin Mary. We wanted to attend the ceremony, but when we asked one of the reception staff, he seemed not to know what we were talking about. We received much better help at a pharmacy, where the staff guided us to several nearby options. Everything turned out fine in the end, but surely being able to provide relevant tips about local events is one of the main duties of a hotel reception. Poor.
