I stayed at the hotel with my parents at mid of May. It is a nice hotel with amazing well- maintained green and colorfull gardens.
Stuff was always polite and helpfull.
If you do not like cold sea water then it seems May is not the correct season. It was very cold for us.
Big part of the sea enterance is full of rocks and corals which is nice for snorkeling however not fun for swimming. They located safe sandy corridors to reach to the wider sandy areas in the sea.
Life guards are always watching and warning people when they get close to the corals when the sea does not have enough debth.
We could not enjoy the sea that much.
Overall, we had a good stay.

A truly wonderful resort in an excellent location and a perfect beach setup. The entire property is well maintained, spacious, and full of greenery with varied architecture, making it suitable for all types of guests. Visitors are generally considerate, and everything is clean and in good condition.
The family rooms are well situated and fine. Whenever an issue arises, the staff responds immediately. The hotel is managed by an experienced Turkish team, and you can feel the professionalism in the way everything is organized. The service can be a bit inconsistent at times, but the staff genuinely tries their best and is always friendly.
The food is varied, and there is something for everyone. It’s not gourmet level, but it’s absolutely acceptable — after all, they aim to satisfy a wide range of tastes, especially the German preference for milder seasoning.
We would happily return and can definitely recommend this resort. The only downside is that the activity staff at the beach can be a bit too pushy with their offers. Other than that, everything is top-notch.

I just had a wonderful holiday at fort arabesque! The place was so beautifully done and maintained, with the gardens, pools, bars and restaurants... Everything perfect!
The staff is so attentive, kind, and funny! Always in a good vibe, from the reception desk, to the animation team, restaurants, bars, house keeping, and everyone we met there.
The only thing that we were disappointed was the taxi from the hotel that we hired to bring us to the airport. During the trip, the driver used his phone while driving, to translate, and pressure us to tip him at the airport, saying things like "usually they tip me 15eur but it depends on your integrity" and other similar stuff. We found that very rude, like a scam.
We also loved the dinners at the beach bar, with the delicious barbecue, and the Greek restaurant. They both had great food and drinks, and great service!
Snorkelling at the house reef is just amazing! Just out of the beach you have access to an incredible diversity of fishes and colourful corals! Especial greetings to the lifeguards who were always nice to talk to, and gave us advices on how to stay safe.
Smoking is very common there, but I think that the outdoor restaurants should have non-smoking areas.

Holiday was perfect. Been to Egypt over 20 times and never met an English animator. So nice to have one with us. Toilets are clean and tidy. Mohammed with the round glasses was absolutely brilliant. Cleaner Saaid was amazing. Fahmy was great service in evening also. The Italian food was beautiful.

A great stay overall. Rooms are dated but perfectly adequate.
Bar service could be slow at times but the staff are friendly and can’t do enough to help. Food is good and varied and the speciality restaurants offered a nice change from the main buffet.
The beachfront location is fantastic, and makes a great staring point for many great excursions.

We visited for 5 nights in December, our first trip to Egypt. The hotel was quiet in that there were hardly any guests, however we need to give a special shout out to the entire animation team. We met people from all over the world and each and everyone of them went out of their way to talk to us, include us in activities day and night and worked their socks off to keep the atmosphere going despite such little guests. We didn't catch everyone's names but to the entire team, including Tamara, Honey, Maja and Sophia, thank you so much for making our first experience such a memorable one. 💖

We stayed at the Jazz Makadi Saraya in Hurghada, in room 1261(16.05-23.05.2026) . The hotel is beautiful, but what truly made our vacation unforgettable was the incredible staff. Four days into our stay at Jaz Makadi Saraya. This place is wonderful. All relatively flat, maximum of 3 floors to all the buildings. Sunflower restaurant has lots of choice but can get very busy at peak times. Staff all very good and attentive.
We spent most of our time at the Ganzabil Pool which is the quieter of the pools. We were very well looked after with mattresses by saleh and especially well looked after by Fam. I've no idea how he remembers everybody's orders around the pool.
Room we were in was quite big. Mattress was very firm, as were the pillows. An iron and an ironing board would be a handy addition to the room to save requesting one.
All in all, a great place.
Had to add to the end how good Mohammed was that cleaned our room, replaced our pool towels and made fabulous displays with our bedding that made us smile on return to our rooms each day. He is a credit to the hotel.

The animation team were great. They made my holiday. I did every event imaginable except water polo. That is to hard at my age. The hotel was excellent, great garden areas, with trees and plants I have not seen before. I have met so many people that come year after year and sometimes to the same room over and over. Food is nice and there is so much variety.
The reef off the beach has so much coral and fish, I was so impressed.
I cannot commend the staff at the hotel so much for the way they have made our holiday.

Very good hotel. Food was excellent with a wide variety of foods for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack bar. The bars had nice cocktails, non alc drinks and the rooms had free tea and coffee and water. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. There is yoga, darts all kinds of activities and the beach is beautiful. We even saw a blue spotted stingray & tropical fish. I'd definitely come back here.

It wasn’t our first experience in Egypt, but it was a nice one. The hotel is not new, but there is a renovated part. The room is great, everything is new and nice.
The beach is amazing, the entrance in the water is wonderful, you can choose where to swim: deep water or shallow water.
The staff is nice, polite and very friendly. They speak different languages, so they can easily help you.
Food is okay, not exactly the gourmet cuisine, but you can find what you like: meat, fish, seafood. Although, the food is really tasty.
If you want a nice, not luxurious and overcrowded hotel: this place is for you.

Our stay at stella beach makadi was amazing and i repeat stella beach makadi not stella gardens makadi because it is another hotel with completely different standard and very poor quality. we were 3 families and stayed in ground double rooms upper floors dont have elevators. The resort is beautiful with very nice landscape and well mantained. The rooms are nicely designed and comfortable, AC is very good while in hot weather, yet the room is a little bit small if with kids but still ok. The food was great and varied specially dinner and you could watch the entertaniment show while having dinner in the restaurant terrace. The snacks at the beach restaurant are very nice also. The beach is rocky there is a small swimable area halfway on the bridge that crosses the corals. The staff are doing there job and no delays, but they need to be more welcoming but i didnt face any problems. The aquapark is a very nice addition and it has elevators. Overall it was a very nice hotel and recommended, special thanks to Mr Hany reception manager.

We decided spontaneously to travel in January instead of April, and the value for money was excellent. The resort is very large, beautifully designed, and well maintained. The rooms are cozy, well located, and very clean.
The food is by far the biggest highlight. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner offer a huge variety, and the quality is outstanding, clearly above typical all-inclusive standards.
The staff and animation team are very polite, attentive, and service-oriented. Everything is cleaned up quickly, and service is generally very good.
The main downside for us was the aggressive tipping and sales approach. Staff and vendors frequently try to sell services inside the resort, even when you just want to relax. Saying “no” once is often not enough, which can disturb the feeling of relaxation.
There is a large pool selection with a pleasant noise level and an overall calm crowd. The beach itself is very shallow and not ideal for swimming, but the long pier offers excellent snorkeling with many fish.
January weather is perfect for relaxing but not ideal for swimming. We would definitely return, but probably in April next time.

Keeley was the most smiling, positive, and empathetic animator I have ever met. She created an amazing atmosphere every single day, always full of energy and genuinely caring about the guests. Her approach made everyone feel welcome and included. Thanks to her, the hotel activities were not only fun but truly memorable.

The activities available here are fantastic and impressively well organized. There’s always something enjoyable to take part in, whether you’re in the mood for something adventurous, relaxing, or creative. The food is absolutely outstanding — every dish is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. You can really tell that the kitchen team puts a lot of care and passion into every meal. The rooms are spotless, comfortable, and very cozy, providing everything you need for a perfect stay. The staff are exceptionally kind and attentive, always ready to assist with genuine warmth and a smile. The overall atmosphere is so welcoming and pleasant that it instantly makes you feel at ease. Spent ten days in stella gardens hotel.The hotel is behind Stella beach resort and spa. This is where you get access to the beach. There is a shuttle bus between the two hotels but the walk is nice takes about 5-10 minutes. There is a snack baron the beach where you can get both food and drinks. The beach also has a very long jetty to take you out to deeper water for snorkeling. Stella gardens is a big hotel but feels spacious the way its laid out with manicured gardens and pools. One is heated in cooler months with a couple of pool bars. The whole staff are amazing. But Khaled down at the pool bar went above and beyond. Extremely polite and attentive. Real nice chatty guy. Nothing was too much trouble. A return visit to meet Khalid who actually gets the British sence of humour would be pleasure. Other staff to look out for are Bishoy in main restaurant another super friendly guy where noting is too much trouble. He looked after us for the entirety of our stay. Ragab the restaurant's manager was a great guy always around checking if we needed anything and everything was ok. He also looks after the specialty restaurant's Chinese, Italian, Indian and Lebanese the food in all these was amazing. Chinese was our favorite. The main restaurant's food was also to a very high standard. There is a brand new waterpark opened up which is also part of the same complex.Overall I would highly recommend this place. We went with easyjet holidays and it was excellent value for money
