5* holiday. Firstly The hotel is clean , tidy and very well run, the staff are like a well oiled machine. Plenty staff on the bar, at breakfast. The rooms are large with plenty space, we had room 2026 swim up room which is right round the corner from kids club , easy access and you are close by. My daughter loved kids club 10.30am till 12.30am aircon room with games and activities, great for 2hour chill before plenty of time in the swim up room. The main pool is more active and has music and games , the kids pirate pool with slides is actually nice and calm as its for the smaller kids. The private swim rooms pools are more chill. Dont buy floats they have a re-use bin where you can leave when bought which i think is great, people just need to know about it as i see people buying more when they could just all share. There is a supermaket 100m from the hotel with everything you need and the harbour is 10min walk away with shops and great food. Most of the drinks are all included like bottle beers and frappa chappa coffeè the wife kept having. All in all the holiday was a success. Only thing to say the aircon has a mind if its own somtimes at night can be rattling, Thank you.

We had a wonderful family holiday at Zafiro Menorca and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. The accommodation, although not large, was very comfortable throughout our stay. Every member of staff was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, making us feel well looked after from the moment we arrived. The food was excellent, with plenty of variety at every meal and a consistently high standard of quality. The resort itself has a relaxed, peaceful atmosphere, making it an ideal destination for families looking for a quieter holiday. A fantastic place to unwind, with excellent facilities and service. We’d happily return in the future.

The hotel and staff are amazing Food is fantastic Kids were never out the pool The day activities in and around the pool are great as it helps break the day up from just being in the pool. Only small criticism is the having to give the room key card every time for drinks even if your all inclusive. You get a wrist band that says you’re all inclusive so not sure why the room key is needed. A better idea would be to have room key wrist bands that do everything. Apart from this it was 10 days of haven. Definitely recommend here

Just returned from a fabulous week at this superb hotel. Ideal location ten minutes walk from Cala’n Bosch marina- the area is just beautiful with many restaurants close by. The hotel was perfect for us as a family (4 adults, 2 Grandchildren) accommodation is spot on and kept beautifully clean- ample space in the rooms which include a bedroom area , sitting/dining area, kitchenette, bathroom /toilet and spacious balcony . Hotel staff are fabulous and always happy to help with any queries- all happy and smiley . A special shout out to the children’s entertainment team who were exceptional- so enthusiastic and absolutely fabulous with the children. All the staff work so hard and we cannot fault them at all- thank you for making our stay so special. The pool areas are perfect for children of all ages (and adults alike), so many pools and so much variety- we were very lucky with the beautiful weather so pools felt warm once in- they are also spotlessly clean as are all the hotel surroundings. The food in both restaurants is wonderful too, a huge variety to choose from and certain aspects changed daily- never had to queue for food and everything was of a very high quality. Definitely recommend all inclusive, so worth the money . We ate out one evening but didn’t feel the need to again as hotel was so good. Overall a fabulous stay and we highly recommend the hotel to anyone (suitable also for all ages). We definitely hope to return one day soon - thank you again 🤗.

The location is well away from major population centres but not that far that you cannot get to the capital within 45 mins by public transport (which is very good and inexpensive). Transfer from the airport and back was seamless and the Jet 2 reps were plentiful to help direct you. The hotel has a family friendly atmosphere with the demo-graph ranging from babes in arms to more senior guests. I'm in my 60s and I didn't feel out of place. It's about a 10-minute walk to a little cove where you can snorkel in the warm and buoyant Med. The nightlife is lively but not rowdy and would not drive anyone away. The rooms are functional, very clean and the aircon was very good. People have commented on the size of the showers, but I had no problem getting in, showering and getting out. The rooms have TV, with some British channels, and the Wi-Fi clicked along at about 8-10 Mbs. There is 23:00 shut off for the bars and entertainment and I have no complaints about the noise levels at night. The hotel staff are friendly and welcoming and will answer any queries as best they can. Housekeeping are excellent and the room was always turned around to a very high standard. Value for money is spot on, I wouldn't expect anything more for the price paid and as an all-inclusive package I cannot fault it. I recommend the Minura Sur Menorca as a family friendly and highly enjoyable destination

Service - all members of staff at the hotel are lovely and welcoming! Very helpful and willing. Rooms - rooms were very clean when we arrived. Housekeeping does a great job and comes every day. Location - not much to do on site, however there is a free shuttle bus to Biniancolla & Punta Prima which are both gorgeous places. There is also a public bus (costing €1.80 each way) to Mahon. Board - we went for the all-inclusive option and we were not disappointed. Plenty of food options at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food tastes lovely and the dining area is very spacious. Lots of drink options at the all-inclusive bar, including spirits, wine and cocktails. Pool - the pool is a nice size, quite cold but is nice as the weather can get quite hot. Never had an issue getting a sunbed when we wanted one but did notice others getting up quite early to reserve a spot.

We had a good stay here! It is perfect for family vacations because there are tons of activities to keep the kids busy. However, if you are looking for a completely quiet and relaxing getaway, it might feel a bit too noisy at times for you. The food and drinks were amazing, and we loved the pool area. Just a heads up to be careful around the pool deck—the ground gets very wet and I actually slipped on my first day! The beach is not within walking distance, but there is a convenient shuttle bus that gets you there in about 10 minutes. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was a bit on the smaller side, but it was perfectly okay for our needs. It is a great hotel, but it was just a bit too crowded at times for me.

Was shocked to come on here and see so many negative reviews because we honestly couldn't fault our stay one bit! All the facilities are fantastic, including 2 pools, an indoor and outdoor bar, daily activities and entertainment every night. Whether you're coming as a family, a couple or with friends there is something for everyone to do. The rooms are lovely and modern, including smart TVs and aircon. We paid for a pool/sea view balcony and was definitely worth the extra money. The food was excellent, lots of variety so again something for everyone, and different options every day we were here. Our favourite was definitely the breakfast! The drinks were great aswell, especially the cocktails, lots of different options and not watered down like you sometimes find on holiday. With the all inclusive service you can upgrade to "premium" cocktails for €4.50 which I think is more than fair when you're usually looking at €8-12 for a cocktail. We even got served a free shot with our first drink which was a nice touch. And of course all the staff, from the reception staff, bar and restaurant staff, the cleaners, and activity coordinators are what make the place what it is. Everyone we encountered was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located just a short walk away from 2 towns, 2 beaches, and you can take the bus straight from the hotel to Maó (the main town) for just €1.80, so you're definitely not short of scenery or tourist attractions either. Would absolutely revisit and will recommend to family and friends looking for a holiday! ☺️

Amazing hotel! Stayed here for a few days and it was great. I paid extra for the sea view room and couldn’t fault it one bit! Food was great, staff were friendly and very welcoming. Swimming pool was amazing and the activity staff were also amazing. There is a few local villages nearby which had good walks and a small beach. There is a local bus (number 92) which goes to the main town Mao (Mahón) for €1.80 which is also worth a visit. Overall fantastic stay and would recommend! 🙂

A very quiet location only the 3 Alua hotels , a minmart and one small supermarket. Hotel runs a free shuttlebus to Punta Prima which is booked at reception. The entertainment team were fabulous and the hotel does guided walks twice a week which I highly recommend . Pleunie , one of the entertainment team was an absolute star , always engaging with the guests and had great knowledge of the area. Worth paying extra for the sea view , it is a full sea view not just a side one. Cleaning wasnt up to standard as usual gor a 4 * hotel, sometimes floor not swept or shower cleaned . Insufficient towels left and cups not cleaned . Always sunbeds available around the pool . Visited mid june

Just spent a very enjoyable week at this hotel. All staff very helpful. Restaurant excellent, good selection of food at each meal (we were all inclusive) Entertainment team were good fun, especially "Pleunie" the Dutch lady. Tom and Noah were good too. Bruno was a bit too serious. There were plenty of sports available, including archery, bowls and petanque.

We have had a fantastic stay at Alua Illa de Menorca, and we would especially like to thank Chef Nicholas for the exceptional care and attention he provided throughout our holiday. As someone with coeliac disease, eating away from home can often be stressful, particularly at a buffet restaurant. From the very first meal, Nicholas went above and beyond to ensure everything was safe to eat. He carefully checked every food item, and if something didn't have a gluten-free symbol, he would personally take a photograph of the ingredients and show us so we could make an informed decision. What really stood out was his consistency and genuine care. At every meal, Nicholas welcomed us warmly and made a point of checking whether we needed any assistance. His knowledge, professionalism, and attention to detail gave us complete confidence and allowed us to relax and enjoy our holiday without worrying about food safety. Nicholas is a tremendous asset to the hotel and deserves recognition for the outstanding service he provides. Thank you for helping make our stay so enjoyable and stress-free. We hope the hotel knows how lucky they are to have him and can't wait to see him again next year.

Well I've just got home after a week at this hotel and wow what can I say, I've never been to such a warm friendly hotel. The hotel is exceptionally clean everywhere, the rooms are spacious with great views of the sea and pool area, and the entertainment at night is good and varied. The pool is refreshing and the food is lovely and hot, especially the breakfast, and each evening there is different theme for dinner. The staff are so friendly and can't do enough for you especially the sous chef. Location is quiet which suited me but short taxi or bus ride takes you into town. The beach at Punta Prima is stunning and well worth a visit, only 8 mins by taxi. I will be recommending this hotel to everyone and hope to return soon.

As I write this review I am sill at the hotel, I thought I would share my views whilst still fresh. In general we were very happy with the hotel, the staff and the amenities, however there are a few disappointing things most of which have already been highlighted before. The rooms are adequate but not luxurious, the air-conditioning works well apart from the eggy smell, there is a shortage of power sockets and no facilities, if you want a kettle then it costs extra. The pool areas are great and fun for the kids, however the main pools are far too deep, I understand the need for the drop areas for the slides to be deep, but the depth needs altering to a more reasonable and safer for the kids. Then for no reason at all the lifeguards decided that they would ban all floatation aids from the main pool for one afternoon, with no explanation given. We were unable to speak to any manager to find out why as the were all in a meeting with the hotel executive team, which according the receptionist they could not disturb, even to deal with complaints from many guests. The bar is well stocked but under manned with large queues for drinks at peak times, I'm glad we got the gold upgrade which allows you to jump the queues with a special service area. The restaurant has a large selection of food, so there is something for everyone one. However the temperature of the food could be higher. The main problem with the restaurant is lack of staff clearing tablets, we had to do this ourselves on most evenings just to get a table. If you are late in not only do you have to clear your own tablet, there is then a shortage of cups, glasses and cutlery, as most of this is used and just stacked up on trolleys. The entertainment has been fantastic our 3 year old granddaughter loved the kids disco each evening and the shows were excellent. The entertainment team are full of energy and work really hard for everyone Just a few of my personal observations. Do let me put anyone off coming as we are having a great time.

Beautiful Resort. Hotel was Excellent Clean and Modern. Several different pool areas which was brilliant if you want to relax in the quiet as the main pool is busy and noisy. Food was good, tasty and lots of variety, the only downside is that it's not kept at a warm enough temperature so by the time you sit to eat, it's basically Cold. This was not a one off it was daily and this is the only negative I have about the resort otherwise I would have given it 5 stars 15 min walk to the Marina for all bars and restaurants, and souvenir shops. And you pass the main beach area on the way. Don't miss the lovely little beach area close to the resort, leave by the corner of the dining area and walk straight down and at the bottom is a lovely little beach area with Shops, and beach bars and restaurants... £21 euros for the 2xLoungers and a parasol for the day but well worth a visit. Beautiful little cove area.

I’ll start with positive things which is the hotel location location and amazing 3 pools (out of 5) surrounded by beautiful nature where one can really disconnect and relax! It’s all really impressive! When it comes to food - very regular but I think everyone can find something. However, my room was awful, mold in the bathroom, the air condition smelled terrible and I couldn’t use it plus the room was facing the big pool which meant constant noise all day and until late evening hours. Hopefully other rooms were better but that’s just my experience.

We stayed here during May Half Term and I've got to say it was very pleasant. The staff were brilliant. When we first arrived, the reception staff were so welcoming and even give my child Spiderman sun glasses (my child is Spiderman obsessed). We asked about a dress code, and was told the only thing we need to do was to have fun. Then, the entertainment staff- they made our holidays. They were so full of energy, polite and funny. The entertainment was brilliant and catered for both adults and children, they even had a cinema night in the kids area. The pools and slides were great fun and kept my child entertained for the week. Some of the pools are deep and cold but wasn't an issue. The hotel was clean and tidy, they even had a robot cleaning the pools which entertained my child. The food was great, and plenty of variety. The all inclusive coin system was such a great idea as it encourages you to take the cups back. We loved how close we were to the beach and the marina. Beautiful walks. We had the best week and would definitely return in the future.

Difficult to rate this hotel. There's some great qualities about it. The staff are polite and friendly, but Ive come away feeling a little unwhelmed considering it's a 4* hotel. Our room was small, one double and a fold out. Space to hang things and shelves. One small table indoors. One chair. Table on the balcony and 2 chairs. If you want a kettle it's 3 euro a day to rent. Little fridge in there so you can go get bits and pieces from the many local markets. The balcony has a little fold out airer for drying clothes on, couldn't help but think it would have been better being mounted to the other side of the balcony as we faced east and the airer was mounted on the south side of the balcony meaning nothing was in the sun after 11ish. So we resorted back to the classic hanging stuff over the balcony to dry. AC in the room was good and kept the room lovely and cool. You can hear other rooms quite easily and it was difficult to get a good sleep. The floors in the room were quite dirty when we arrived. Like having to brush your feet off before getting in bed dirty. Showers in the room very good. Again though thers no secondary lock/ chain/ latch on the door or for the balcony so if you've got kids that enjoy being escape artists, you're probably not going to get a good night's sleep. I think my biggest disappointment and something to make other family travellers aware of is the main pools with the slides. The splash zone is great for toddlers, it's around a foot deep at it's furthest point but the slides exit to the bigger pool which is 1.9m deep so if you're like my travelling with a young child who is learning to swim but still relies on armbands/ floaties it's not ideal as you can't stand in the pool and wait for them to come down. I think the depth needs to be reduced to 1.2m or 1.5m to make that process easier and safer for parent's and children. Food was generally good however on our last night it was pretty much fish or pork options which is fine for us but I couldnt help but think people with dietary restrictions for religious reasons would have been left with a few vegetables if they weren't keen on fish either. Again a layout change would be better with all your proteins first where you grab your plates then onto sides it's current layout is some proteins some carbs at the beginning but the main meats in the middle of the serving area. So you end up wandering down first to see what's on offer before getting your food so when you do have a full plate you are dodging a lot of people going back to your table. We went the week before half term in the UK and bar access was easy. But more staff are required at the bar during half term times as the queues get quite long, queuing round the corner, it was quicker for me to walk to the supermarket get bottled drinks and snacks than wait to be served at the hotel. You're very close to the beach and it's only around 8 euro for a taxi to the marina.

Overall, I enjoyed my 5 days all inclusive stay here. The room was nice and clean, lovely shower and comfy bed. Room was cleaned daily but refreshments not replenished and only water bottle given. The pools were of good size and plenty of sun-beds. You can use the public poor bar AI but they won’t tell you this on check in! Oh and if you want to use the public pool, you need their beach towel on display apparently. Food was of a decent standard, could have been more variety and I have to say the pool bar snacks were the best part! Evening entertainment great when it’s on. The available amenities need to be clearer upon booking and arrival, gym is in another hotel, same with the à la carte restaurants, the dinky bar is over the road and not AI.

This was the gold standard holiday experience for both myself and my partner, we both work in retail so when we chill out we need to really chill out, and this hotel allowed for that ten fold! We’ve been all over the world from Iceland to Bali but the staff in this hotel were next level, and really were the icing on top, beyond friendly!! I’d like to give a special mention to Bruno, who was always friendly and genuinely lovely. He helped make our stay even more memorable by introducing us to padel. Despite the language barrier (my terrible Spanish and his limited English) we shared many laughs, which were very much appreciated and a big part of what made this trip so special! And to Zak, I have no idea how this man maintains his social battery, he was kind of like the face of the hotel as he would go around and go the extra mile for any guest only possible due to the fact he seems to be able to speak a million languages! At first I thought we were getting special treatment but I then came to realise this is just Zak, from arranging hikes to sangria making lessons he’s the man! But everyone in the hotel was lovely, from the chefs to the waitresses and waiters to everyone working behind the bars and checking in/out desk! All surprises were pleasant ones and I didn’t used to understand why people go back to the same hotels time and time again but now I do and we hope to see you all again very soon! Oh and no sun-bed wars!! As you can’t reserve them, but there was always plenty available at any time of day!

Really lovely hotel, a bit misleading as the gym is in another hotel 10 mins away and the à la carte restaurant appears not to exist. Having to pay for water in your room whilst all inclusive put me off, and they don’t restock tea/coffee either… felt a bit tight. Lovely staff, clean and spacious, food a bit samey but not unpleasant, pool snacks are really good.

First visit and I am hoping one of many. The hotel was spotless , the staff exceptionally helpful and friendly. The rooms are well appointed and a good size to be able to unpack and pop your suitcase in the corner without having to trip over it made you feel you definitely were on holiday. We were all inclusive and at all meal times there was plenty of choice, a big Thank you to Carmen and Nico the chef who looked after me and navigated me through the Gluten Free options, Nico went out of his way to make me some Gluten Free fries and potato wedges he always had a smile and nothing was too much trouble with someone who has to live with a severe allergy it took all the stress out of meal times so from the bottom of my heart Thank you to the both of you. The area for sunbathing and swimming was across the road, it was lovely and quiet though some of the sunbeds backs were broken possibly six, making it a little difficult to obtain a bed with a back enabling one to sit up , however the beds were extremely comfortable. The snack bar was in my mind a little below parr for a four star hotel, the chap wasnt particularly friendly and when he had run out of aqua con gas that was it, he never went out of his way to provide any Gluten Free snacks or didnt really seem bothered, it didn't really matter for me as I can't eat snacks and have three meals but I did find his attitude a little bit cool. The divide between the two areas I had looked into before we booked so it was fine, and we were able to use the sunbeds if they werent busy, which was a great help, however it did feel as if we were not quite on a four star experience. A big shout out to Zack who was a complete delight, he was enthusiastic, mingled with the holidays makers, did a great water aqua fit and in general was a breath of fresh air. The evening entertainment was lovely , not too loud and very enjoyable, difficult to get a table outside so if a few more can be fitted in the space that would be great. Thank you for making our holiday a great experience after a tough year I feel refreshed and ready to face the world again.

We recently stayed here for a long weekend on an all-inclusive basis. We were lucky enough to have a sea view room, which was absolutely lovely, and there are also beautiful sea views from the main restaurant and bar. There are two pools located across the road from the hotel, both of which were lovely. We never had any issues getting a sunbed, and the sunbeds themselves were really comfortable. The pools are located at the beach bar across the road that is also open to the public, and while it did sometimes feel like the staff prioritised non-hotel guests, it didn’t affect our experience too much. We always managed to find something we enjoyed at every meal, at the buffet restaurant, and there was especially a great variety at breakfast. However, we do feel the hotel would benefit from having more self-service drinks stations around the hotel, particularly for water. It also seemed strange that the coffee machine only appeared to be available at breakfast time. The bar area was very nice, and Elvira stood out for her excellent service. There was entertainment on two of the evenings — a saxophonist and a singer — and the singer in particular was fantastic. We also used the spa and had massages, which were incredibly relaxing. The therapist was so friendly, and the indoor pool, jacuzzi, and sauna were all very nice. Zack from the entertainment team was especially welcoming and friendly to all guests. It’s great that the hotel offers a shuttle service to Punta Prima beach — it’s only around 10 minutes away and is a really lovely beach. One thing we feel could be improved is the clarity on booking websites regarding the restaurants and bars. We had thought the Dinky Bar and à la carte restaurants were onsite and included, but there was no mention of these in the arrival information. The hallways occasionally had an unpleasant smell, and it would have been nice if the room fridge had been stocked with still water. The spa seemed to be the only place with a water machine available. Overall, we had a lovely, relaxing stay and really enjoyed our time here.

We had a beautiful 4 night stay at the Barcelo Hamilton. From arrival to check out the staff were excellent, especially Monica in the restaurant who was always so helpful and friendly. The food was delicious and varied. Lots to choose from. We stayed on a half board basis. The room was clean and had plenty of space. Water tea and coffee were provided in room. There was also a fridge to chill drinks. Pool area was small but clean and modern. unfortunately due to the weather we didn’t get to enjoy it. The location of the hotel is excellent. We could walk into Mahon in 25 min. The harbour area is beautiful and lots of good restaurants serving traditional Menorca cuisine and seafood. Lovey bars were you could get a drink and people watch. We also hired a car and it was a great base to explore what the island has to offer. Parking spaces outside hotel and neighbouring streets.

This hotel has the most beautiful views, very friendly staff and incredibly comfortable beds However breakfast could be absolutely chaotic and we had to clear and set our own table 3 out of 7 days The rooms are tired and small and housekeeping is hit and miss -: sometimes we got water, sometimes not, similar with bath mat and cleaning wasn't fabulous I booked after a superb stay in the sister hotel in Tenerife and encouraged 2 friends to also book which was a bit embarrassing considering the hotel certainly isn't 5 star The focus is on upselling not delivering value for what you have already paid for Our sheets were not changed for a week, apparently we should have put a request on our bed to have them changed but we didn't know this! I wonder how long they would have left them?

Excellent hotel, lovely staff. 10 mins easy walk to the bus stop for services to Mao (1.75e), buses around every 50 mins taking 10-15. Plenty of bars and restaurants to eat as well as a good buffet in the hotel too.

Set in a residential area,a lovely quiet area. Hotel very nice,clean rooms. Service very good,from front of house to cleaning ladies. A special mention to Rafe,and Monica in the restaurant, for making our stay a pleasant experience.

Excellent hotel, breakfast amazing, pool was cold due to time of year but lots of facilities to choose from to keep you entertained. Walked into Mao which was an easy walk, great restaurant choices close by too. Loved it
