We really enjoyed our all-inclusive holiday staying in the SunGate Hotel in Sidari, Corfu 06 – 13 Jul 2026. We just love this hotel, its staffs from the receptionists to the bar’s and restaurant’s as well as the room service’s, were all very friendly, even though some of them did not speak English much, their smiles and sincere manners absolutely made us feel home. Lots of choices of food, Greek food, BBQ, fresh salad and fruits, all sort for us to eat as much as we want. My husband enjoyed different drinks at the bar and I enjoyed the Ouzo with lemon and the non-alcoholic cocktails, Lovely drinks! The double room with a private swimming pool and sun beds was superb. The private zone provided the quietness for us to relax and have a nap when we felt tired from outdoor activities. The hotel has late check out with different rates of charges. As our coach pick up time was in the evening, I must give a big thank you for the lady, Ms Amalia and two gentlemen who worked by the reception desk. They arranged a cosy room for us to stay after checked-out our original room until evening. We really appreciated their lovely service. We have already decided to go back again next time. Thank you SunGate Hotel for giving us an awesome holiday!

Positives Amazing food selection—something for everyone. Very kind staff in the dining area and great chefs. If you don't like Greek food you may be a bit bored, but there's the usual chips, etc., available. The vegetables, the meat, and BBQ night were all really good. Desserts are pretty similar each night and typical all-inclusive bits, but overall the food is good. The selection of all-inclusive cocktails is really good, too. Quite often, some hotels will only do cocktails at specific times or options are limited, but they weren't here. Negatives First Room: Smelt of mildew, had black mould on the walls, and when taking a shower, the water leaked underneath and drenched the bathroom floor. It took two nights before we were able to leave the mouldy room. The female receptionist was very understanding of our concerns and acknowledged there was an issue with mould in that particular building. Second Room: Initially all was well, but the bed sheets were absolutely drenched. We were told it was the humidity (it wasn't). The air-conditioning then broke, which leaked all over our belongings. When they fixed it, they left all the gunk outside which wasn't cleaned up. Once fixed, the bed sheets going forward were no longer wet—so we had initially been sleeping on towels because we just didn't understand humidity... right? Flooded Floor: Then, when going to bed one evening, underneath the bed was wet through. The floor was drenched because the shower was leaking into the bedroom. We were told we could no longer use the bathroom facilities for that evening. Overall, within the first couple of nights, we had gone from a mouldy room straight to a wet room. Pool: Really deep and great for swimming. Unfortunately, people reserving beds with towels is a huge thing here and beds are scarce, leaving lots of people unable to get one. Music by the pool differed depending on which barman was on shift, but unfortunately, sometimes it felt like a Club 18-30 with really heavy club music. Not great for relaxing. Guests: Some teenagers were just blasting music from their balconies with no consideration for others. A couple of staff members mentioned how annoying it was, but nothing was done to ask them to be more respectful. Entertainment: Well, it's ok for what you pay—usual quiz, water aerobics, etc.—but not anything worth stopping other plans over. This was a 10-day holiday, and it was the kitchen staff, dinner team, and the female receptionist who made it, but we won't be coming back. Several people were on to the Jet2 rep about the state of their rooms, and many reviews say the exact same thing.

Rooms - are ok- could do with a better clean in the bathroom. Clean towels daily and bed made daily. For two days we had a freezing cold shower- after numerous complaints from all guests eventually it was sorted . No kettle in rooms (you needs to ask for one) Air con wasn’t working and the safe wasn’t working either Food/ food area - not a great choice of food but it was edible - it was clean and staff were friendly Bar/Staff- Inclusive drinks were ok - staff were all friendly . Entertainment could have been better, but the guy who did entertainment was a nice guy . Pool area- nice/clean area but very small and very busy - felt like they had over accommodated/ there was never any available sun beds- everyone was on top of each other Atmosphere- felt like a 18-30 accommodation, not a place for us when we wanted a quiet relaxing holiday and wouldn’t recommend it if that’s what your looking for.

Clean hotel and really friendly lady on reception and all the maids were friendly and respectful, entertainment in the bar in an evening. Bar food available between meals. If I had to find fault it would be the cups in room weren’t changed each day after use and the shower was a little small but that is really scraping the barrel for faults. I would stay there again and my two children 18 and 12 loved it.

You pay for what you get. And sungate didn't disappoint.. Family of 4 booked last minute holiday. We arrived early hours with a lovely receptionist. Drinks on tap with some sandwiches.. Got shown to our room and wow the biggest room we ever had upstairs and downstairs.Font overlooking the swim up rooms and the back nice and peaceful. But be aware keep your windows closed mosquitoes are on heat. Now the hotel. Honestly the food I can't complain at all neither did my kids 10 and 15 always something to choose nice and tasty better then some so called 5 star establishments over the border on Turkey. And there salad so nice it's enough to turn you vegan Gave the barmen a little extra which is deserved and give you better drinks happy talking. The pool, get there at a REASONABLE time still space. Nice and chilled . Plenty of lilos left over from previous guest so kids can run riot. The entertainment again nice not over the top just nice and chilled. Overall would we go back yes. Thank you sungate and to everyone who made our holiday. Ignore all the petty reviews. We paid 1300 for 7, night all inclusive works at at £46pp. Ask yourself can you go anywhere in the UK for that price and the sun.
