The hotel is reasonably good value for money, and the location is definitely a big plus. It’s close to the beach, surrounded by plenty of shops and restaurants, and very convenient for transport—around 10 minutes by car or roughly 20 minutes by bus from the airport.
However, the main issue was that the room did not match the photos shown when booking. The images made it look much more spacious and brighter, almost like a completely different room. In reality, our room felt quite small and was positioned in a way that made it seem hidden behind bushes, with very little natural light—almost like a basement.
We understand that hotels have different room types, but the photos should accurately reflect what guests are likely to receive. Using what appears to be images of the best room for all listings feels misleading.
When we asked about changing rooms, we were told it’s normally possible to upgrade for an extra fee (presumably to a room more like the one shown in the photos). Unfortunately, this wasn’t an option during our stay as the hotel was fully booked which is understandable.
There were also a few basic things missing that made the stay less comfortable. There was no hand soap in the bathroom, and although it was a self-catering setup, there wasn’t even a sponge provided to wash dishes. Additionally, amenities like a hairdryer were not included and required an extra fee—not a deposit, but an actual charge—which, even if small, should be clearly stated in advance.
That said, the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which we really appreciated.
Overall, this hotel has a lot going for it—especially the location—but the advertising and transparency around rooms and amenities could definitely be improved.

We just came from Bluesea Puerto Caleta, location is perfect, 10 min to the beach, shops just near, I haven't use any service, room cleaning every two days was great, swimming pool was very cold water so we haven't used it. At first we was given room, downstairs so no private outside space and for me was not feeling safe with children, because I like to keep windows open, but lady at the reception was very kind and gave us room upstairs. Rooms are OK for what you pay. Very basic. You can't cook to much because it takes long for hob to heat up. So it's OK if you eat outside. So many tiny ants, but its everywhere, not only in this hotel. We was mostly out exploring, we use to come just for the sleep, so was OK.

Apartment was clean but in desperate need of renovation, sockets were dodgy, shower screens broken, paint flaking off walls, beds awful etc. However they were clean which was something. I guess we got what we paid for at this time of year. Staff were very friendly and helpful so thanks to them and it was located in a great location for bars and restaurants

Good for the price and the location. Rooms are rather dated and very dark but the facilities are good and staff are very friendly. Pool and sunbeds are well maintained. I would recommend this place for people who are just looking for a base and see their accomodation as a place to rest their head 🙂↕️

I am giving 5 stars for the room ,I new it was basic but it was clean and tidy and a view of the pool and a big balcony. Pool was lovely and clean with plenty of beds and tables to sit out and enjoy a beer or two. Location was perfect close to many shops and bars but far enough away not to here any noise.beach just 5 minutes away. I would definitely recommend this place for great value holiday.
