Pros:
Very kind and friendly cleaning staff, very good food with a good variety, and a beautiful, well-maintained garden. The hotel grounds are green and pleasant, which makes the stay enjoyable.
Cons:
Unfortunately, our stay was problematic from the very beginning. Upon arrival, the hotel was not aware that our reservation was for 2 adults and 2 children – the children were not included in their system. We arrived late in the evening, the children were already very tired, and the check-in process took a long time, which was stressful. When we finally got to the room, we were disappointed, as it did not match the description shown on Booking.com.
According to the booking, the family room should have included one double bed and two sofa beds. In reality, there was only one sofa, and a foldable extra bed was added only after the first night. One of our children slept on this temporary bed for most of the stay, which was uncomfortable.
Throughout most of the stay, the hotel placed responsibility on Booking.com and did not offer a clear solution. Despite messages and requests, there was a lack of timely response. We were eventually referred to a guest relations manager, who turned out to be unavailable at that time.
Additionally, children’s animations, which were listed in the schedule, were carried out only partially or not at all.
At the very end of the stay, we managed to obtain a free late check-out, however this was our own suggestion, not something proactively offered by the hotel.
Overall, the hotel has good facilities, very good food and lovely surroundings, but the handling of issues and communication with guests - especially families with children - needs improvement.

We highly recommend Mayfair Hotel Paphos. We spent a wonderful time here – delicious food, great atmosphere, and very friendly service. Special greetings to the animation team: Stan, Mario, and the lovely girl from Hawaii, who made every day enjoyable, especially during the bingo games. The reception staff was also excellent. We will definitely return, as both the hotel and Pafos left a great impression on us.

We have just spent a week here as a family of 5 over the February half term in a 2 bed apartment. Here is my balanced view of our stay.
The hotel is just 20 to 30 mins from paphos airport, located in a mix of residential and local business area. Outside the hotel my opinion was that the surroundings were a little run down and unkempt. The hotel is 20 min walk to the front, same to the old town and 5 mins to a big shopping mall.
We stayed on an all inclusive basis and this is where the hotel scores strongly. The food in the main was excellent in the dining room. The snacks left a lot to be desired, I don't class cheap fish fingers 5 days out of 7 a snacking favourite!
Icecream available periodically in there afternoon and it was nice enough. The AI drinks were OK. Wine and beer very acceptable.
This hotel has some great facilities, but they were all closed! The kids were desperate to use the waterpark, but it was closed. I get it's winter, but it was a busy kids holiday week and the hotel should have more open.
The onsite arcade is a rip off and some of the equipment is aged and needs replacement.
Not enough seats for the evening entertainment, but the variety was quite good, although the kids face painting and tshirt painting I found un reasonable at 10 euro each.
My biggest bug bear was the room. The condition overall was very poor, worn paint, moldy tiles and dirty bathroom and desd insects all over. To top it off the maid insisted on leaving the windows open when she came in and when we got back on an evening the room was full of mosquitoes. All of us, even with deet became pin cushions during the week! Not good.
The corridors were being painted around us and there was frequent building noise, it didn't make for a relaxing holiday. It all felt a bit rushed to get as many people in for the peak season and was a poor experience that we weren't aware of in advance. The biggest issue is the lack of health and safety, there was no taped off areas and on one of the days they were angle grinding and fitting a steel support girder in right over where kids were playing footy on the grass. Had they dropped it, yikes.
Overall the food saved this from a lower review as it was some of the best we have had at an AI. The rest of the hotel was average to poor in most aspects.

Beautiful hotel and gardens accommodation that caters for families and couples. Accommodation is clean, tidy and spacious. Nothing is too much trouble for staff, very attentive. Food of excellent quality and even there is something that even a picky eater could eat. Pool areas clean and tidy. Pools of good size and clean. Would highly recommend.

Went for new year 2025/2026
Group of 12 age range 13 to 73
Food was great big choice
10 minute walk to the harbour
Great walks long the coast
Entertainment was basic but when you're in a group you make your own entertainment
New year's eve a gala night beautifully done
Hotel was clean but the cleaning in the room was basically bed made I think they were short staffed
Weather was sunny but really cold need to take warm clothes
Luckily they had an in door pool
We all enjoyed our stay and would recommend 👌
