We had a wonderful stay at Jumeirah Capri Palace in June 2025. I visited with my mother and sisters, and it became such a special family trip.
The hotel itself is beautiful, luxurious, and elegant, but what made the experience truly memorable was the kindness and generosity of the staff. They upgraded my mother’s room to a pool suite and gave us a connecting room, which made it feel as though we had a large two-bedroom suite with our own pool and garden. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made the stay feel incredibly special.
The staff throughout the hotel were exceptionally nice, attentive, and welcoming. Everything felt effortless and beautifully taken care of.
I would really recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Capri. It is luxurious, warm, and truly memorable.

We were extremely disappointed by our experience with Jumeirah Capri.
We booked and fully paid our stay from 25 to 27 August 2026 back in November, planning our vacation well in advance. However, just one month before our arrival, the hotel informed us that they would no longer be able to accommodate us because they had decided to give the entire hotel to another group that wanted exclusive use of the property.
This is completely unacceptable. When guests book months in advance, they expect the hotel to honor a confirmed reservation. Cancelling an existing booking simply because a more profitable opportunity came along shows a complete lack of respect for customers and demonstrates that confirmed reservations are not actually guaranteed.
To make matters worse, we were left scrambling to find alternative accommodation during the peak season on Capri. With only a month’s notice, availability is extremely limited, and the few remaining hotels are significantly more expensive than when we originally booked.
We expected much better from a luxury brand like Jumeirah. Reliability, professionalism, and respect for guests should be fundamental values of any five-star hotel. Unfortunately, this experience has completely undermined our trust in the brand, and we cannot recommend staying here if you expect a confirmed reservation to be honored.

This place was truly a dream! From start to finish the service was impeccable. We had the most kind and helpful drivers that took our luggage from the ferry up to the hotel and back when it was time to leave. From the moment you step into the resort you are greeted and taken care of. The views of the hotel were remarkable. Everyone on the staff was so accommodating and sweet. I have to shoutout a few special individuals who made the stay even better - Veronica who was so helpful with suggestions on what to do on the island, helped our bigger group of 8 navigate Capri and help with dining. So sweet! Eljon during breakfast assisted with knowledge of food culture and recommendations. Giuseppe & Luca the drivers we had didn’t let us lift a finger while being punctual to assure we made it to our destinations. Not to mention the food was delicious! I would stay here over and over again! If you are looking for a place to stay in Capri - this is it!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Capri Palace, and it was an exceptional experience from beginning to end.
From the moment we arrived, the service set the tone for something truly special. Every staff member we encountered was warm, attentive, and effortlessly professional, creating an atmosphere that felt both elegant and genuinely welcoming rather than formal or distant.
A heartfelt mention goes to Eljon (apologies if the spelling is off), who welcomed us each morning at breakfast. His deep knowledge of the beautifully prepared dishes elevated the entire breakfast experience and added a personal touch that made each morning memorable he is truly an asset to the hotel. Veronica, who served us at both lunch and dinner in the outdoor setting, was equally wonderful gracious, attentive, and consistently a joy to interact with.
Our room was stunning, featuring a private patio with breathtaking views over the Amalfi Coast. It was the kind of setting that makes you pause repeatedly just to take it all in. It’s also worth noting that guests should be sure to request an updated room, as many of the Amalfi-view accommodations have recently been beautifully renovated and feel especially fresh and elevated.
The hotel’s location is ideal secluded enough for complete relaxation, yet perfectly positioned for exploring the island with ease.
A standout highlight of our stay was dining at the hotel’s two-Michelin-star restaurant, L’Olivo. The experience was nothing short of extraordinary refined, creative, and flawlessly executed from start to finish. It absolutely lives up to its reputation and is a destination in its own right.
Another thoughtful touch that deserves mention is the seamless logistics: the hotel arranges drivers who meet you at the port, transport your luggage directly up to the property, and then return it for your ferry departure. It removes all stress from arrival and departure and reflects the level of care the hotel puts into every detail.
It’s rare to find a property where every element is so carefully considered and consistently delivered at such a high level. We cannot recommend the Capri Palace highly enough it was an unforgettable and truly remarkable stay. Thank you from: The Tenpenny's, Steskel's, Keatons, & Schumaker's!

May 2026: Great location and stunning views. We had our own pool, although the room is tired. The staff is great and willing to bend over backwards to assist. They tell me the rooms will be upgraded within the year!
