Perfect family vacation with an amazing water park! We had a perfect vacation. We arrived at the beginning of June as a couple with three children (ages 8, 6, and 3.5). The staff was welcoming, efficient, professional, polite, and attentive. The water park was perfect for us since it offers a relatively wide and diverse variety of options. The rooms are standard and the maintenance level is low. The wardrobe only has hanging space, which was less convenient for me, but we managed completely fine. Overall, we had a wonderful time and highly recommend it for families!

Our wedding at GRECOTEL Olympia was truly something out of a fairy tale and an experience we genuinely don’t think we will ever have again.
From the moment we arrived until the day we left, every single member of staff went above and beyond to make our stay and wedding unforgettable. The cleaners, restaurant staff, the team who welcomed us every day at the buffet, and the bar staff all made us feel so special. It didnt matter who we came into contact with we were met with kindness and No one could do enough for us.
A special mention must go to Sofia, Stefanis(head chef) Petros, and Varsia.
Petros and Varsia were always the friendliest faces to see. Their service was exceptional, and we looked forwards to seeing them every evening. we even requested petros to work our wedding because we wanted to see him on our day.
Sofia, our wedding planner, is simply the kindest soul. She could not have done more for us throughout the entire process. Her support, dedication, and attention to every detail made our wedding absolutely perfect, and we will always be grateful to her. I couldn’t recommend her services enough and any bride is lucky to have her planning their wedding!!!
Mr Stefanis panagiotis the head chef, deserves enormous recognition. As someone with coeliac disease, travelling can often be stressful when it comes to food. Every evening, Stefanis personally took me around the restaurant, explained what I could safely eat, and carefully prepared my meals. He even would suggest if I didn’t fancy what was out he would make me whatever I wanted! I’ve never had this kind of service before it was amazing! Again he even came to our wedding to check over everything and took me around our wedding buffet to make sure everything was safely consumed. (He even helped me walk & carried my dress train back to the table for me) again above and beyond with the service!
Across both of my stays at GRECOTEL, I experienced zero reactions and zero worries, which is incredibly rare and something I cannot thank him enough for.
We would also like to thank our wedding day chef Georgios Fotopoulos, along with the entire team, for making our wedding so memorable the food was insanly good and again brillant service it was extremely hot with no shade and everyone was so friendly!
The service at GRECOTEL Olympia was exceptional from beginning to end. The kindness, professionalism, and genuine care shown by every member of staff made our wedding more special than we could ever have imagined. We will cherish these memories forever and cannot wait to return.

It was my pleasure and privilege as a destination wedding planner to bring an incredible couple to the resort for their beach elopement. Myself and my team stayed at Ilia Palms, whilst the couple stayed at Riviera. I have to say, from start to finish, everything was excellent. The rooms were fabulous, and when there was a little hiccup on arrival, the resort bent over backwards to help and ensure all was sorted and everyone was happy. The food and drink and the enormous number of pools at the resort were absolutely fantastic.
From the wedding point of view, we could not have been better supported throughout the planning and execution by Sofia, the main wedding coordinator. She was superb - no other word to describe her.
Everything we wanted to do (horses on the beach, flower arch on the beach, violinist) she never seemed phased and we worked together to make the couple’s dream come true.
Overall the stay was exceptional and the wedding was incredible. I simply can’t speak more highly, and we will definitely be bringing more weddings to the resort!

We are currently staying at Grecotel La Riviera for the second consecutive year. We chose to return because last year’s experience was outstanding. Unfortunately, this year the beach experience has changed dramatically.
The biggest disappointment is the beach organization. Last year there were plenty of umbrellas and sunbeds, and we never had any difficulty finding a comfortable place in the shade. This year, the number of umbrellas has been significantly reduced. We spoke with Guest Relations, and they explained that some umbrellas had to be removed because the shoreline had changed. We understand that this may have been necessary, but the hotel has not provided enough alternative places for guests.
As a result, finding a free sunbed under an umbrella is practically impossible. We have stopped looking because there simply are no available places. Every day we leave our belongings on a chair near the pool, go to the sea for a short swim, dry off, and return to our room. We came here mainly to enjoy the beach, but we cannot spend time there comfortably anymore.
There is also a constant shortage of beach towels. On several occasions we had to take our towels back to our room, dry them on the balcony, and bring them to the beach again the next day because fresh towels were unavailable.
We have already discussed these issues with the hotel management, but during our stay the situation has not improved.
This is especially disappointing because Grecotel La Riviera is a premium resort, and these are basic services that guests expect. The beach was the main reason we returned, yet this year it has become the biggest disappointment of our holiday.
We sincerely hope the management will restore the number of umbrellas and sunbeds or provide an adequate alternative for guests in the future.

We stayed at Grecotel La Riviera for one week and returned home at the beginning of this week.
I am not writing this review to discourage anyone from booking this hotel. My goal is simply to provide an honest opinion for people who are considering spending a significant amount of money on their holiday.
Unfortunately, our stay got off to a disappointing start. In my opinion, the overall standard of the hotel did not meet the expectations I had for a five-star resort.
At check-in, we were not given any information about the hotel, such as restaurant opening hours, meal times or available facilities. We only received an envelope, and when we arrived in our room, we discovered that all the information inside was written only in German. I had to find the reception again just to get basic information about the hotel. Even finding the reception was not easy because of the many stairs, and after a long journey we were already very tired.
When we wanted to have a snack as part of our All Inclusive package, we were surprised to find that most snacks required an additional payment. The only complimentary option was basically a few sandwiches.
We also had the impression that guests staying on the All Inclusive package were treated differently. Even though we regularly left tips, the pool service was either unavailable or appeared only occasionally. The waiting time was often so long that we simply went to get our own drinks.
In the evenings, after dinner, we expected to relax with a cocktail and enjoy some snacks. However, the complimentary selection for All Inclusive guests was extremely limited – usually just a small bowl of peanuts and sometimes some crisps. Everything else had to be paid for.
Most of the evening entertainment took place at the neighbouring hotel, which was disappointing.
The themed restaurants were very good, but reservations had to be made well in advance. Unfortunately, despite having a confirmed reservation, our names were missing from the guest list when we arrived. We were eventually seated and served, but it left an unpleasant feeling throughout the evening.
One of the biggest positives was definitely the water park, which we really enjoyed and would highly recommend.
As for the food, breakfast was repetitive every day, lunch was average, and dinner was good, although I expected more themed evenings and a greater variety of cuisines.
The staff in the main restaurant were friendly and professional, and I have no complaints about them.
The only aspect I truly cannot fault is the breathtaking view. It is absolutely beautiful and was, without a doubt, the highlight of our stay.
I would like to make one thing very clear. I have no problem paying a premium price for a holiday if the quality and service truly reflect that price. I work hard all year to be able to enjoy one special holiday with my family, and that is exactly why I chose this hotel.
Unfortunately, what we received did not match the price we paid. The holiday itself was pleasant, but it felt average rather than exceptional. In my opinion, a similar experience could easily be found at a hotel costing much less.
Of course, everyone has different expectations and standards. This review reflects only my personal experience. However, I sincerely hope it helps people who, like me, expect a genuine five-star experience before spending this amount of money.
