Out of season so didn't expect much open around. A couple of coffee shops and a couple of bars in either direction along the board walk was about it. The hotel itself was beautiful. Warm friendly welcome and a very quick check in. Room was spacious and had a side sea view which was ample for us. Especially for the sunrise each morning to have a coffee on the balcony was bliss.
The spa was good, sauna and steam room nice.
Food was good. Different theme each night. Most won't go hungry here.
Plenty of comfy chairs to relax with a drink after dinner too. Would come back for sure

I stayed at Constantinos The Great Beach Hotel in February 2026 for five days with my family, and it was already my third visit - which probably says everything. I genuinely love coming back here, and once again, the hotel delivered a high standard in every aspect.
Our room was spotless, very comfortable, and the bed ensured a great night’s sleep. The view from the window was absolutely beautiful - waking up to the sea every morning was a real pleasure.
We chose the all-inclusive option, and the food exceeded expectations. Breakfasts, lunches, and dinners were all very diverse and truly delicious. There was plenty of choice every day, and everything felt fresh and well-prepared.
The location is fantastic. February in Protaras is peaceful and quiet, which made the stay even more relaxing. The hotel is right on a clean, beautiful beach, perfect for long walks and enjoying the sea views without the crowds.
The staff were absolutely wonderful - warm, welcoming, and always helpful. A very special thank you goes to Ehsan, the bartender, who made our stay unforgettable. He is open, friendly, and incredibly engaged in what he does. His positive energy and sense of humor brought us so much joy. Thank you, Ehsan, for the amazing service and all the laughter!
The outdoor pool water was unfortunately very cold, but the indoor pool was perfectly fine. There were plenty of sunbeds available. We didn’t notice daytime animations, but there was live music entertainment in the evenings.
Overall, this hotel maintains a consistently high level of service and quality. I will definitely return again - and I highly recommend it, especially for families and anyone looking for a peaceful seaside escape.

We recently stayed at this hotel and, in my personal opinion, although it is modern and visually beautiful, I don’t believe it meets 5 star standards. The room itself was spacious, and the view from the balcony was absolutely unreal, definitely one of the highlights of our stay. However, the TV are so small, no smart with bad reception. The bathroom was disappointing. The finishing details were poor, and there were visible signs of rust on the handles and the shower holder, which you wouldn’t expect from a 5 star property. Another thing that felt quite surprising for a 5 star hotel was the use of tiny mini bottles for shower gel and shampoo. It felt a bit ridiculous for this category of hotel. Even more disappointing, they were not replaced the next day. The same happened with the towels, no proper replacement, which again is something you would expect as standard service.
The in-room coffee and milk were also very basic. We were given only two small sachets, which were never replenished, and the quality wasn’t great either. These small details really make a difference in what should feel like a premium experience. There was also no iron provided in the room. While the hotel does have a shared ironing room downstairs where guests can iron their clothes, this again felt below what you would normally expect from a 5 star hotel. We had requested a double bed but were given two single beds instead. On the first evening, one of the beds actually collapsed. I reported this the next morning and again requested a double bed. When we returned later that day, the broken bed had been fixed, but we still had two single beds. After asking again the following day, we were finally given a double mattress topper. Unfortunately, we ended up spending two nights with separate beds and one night with a broken bed, which was quite disappointing. Food wise, we had half board and there was plenty of choice at both breakfast and dinner. However, the quality was average, nothing particularly memorable or special. One thing I found strange was the dress code enforcement. I went to dinner wearing short chinos and a shirt and was asked to change into long trousers. However, I noticed other guests wearing Adidas tracksuits, which felt inconsistent and a bit unfair. The kiosk outside again was disappointing, serving only hamburger or chips, you would have a better experience at McDonald to be honest. The spa and indoor pool area were great overall, but there were some drawbacks. The pool wasn’t properly heated, and the steam room and sauna closed at 5pm, with the pool closing at 6pm, quite early for a relaxing evening experience. Guests are supposed to wear swimwear in the sauna and steam room, but we witnessed a man completely naked, and at one point a child entered the steam room with his dad, which made the situation uncomfortable. The staff were professional but not particularly warm or friendly. It didn’t feel very welcoming, especially considering it was out of season and not busy. Overall, I would rate this as a 2 or 3 star experience rather than a 5 star one. That said, Cyprus itself is absolutely 5 star. We stayed in Protaras and I highly recommend renting a car to explore the island. We visited so many beautiful places and created amazing memories, including spending a day in Nicosia and crossing the border into Turkey, which was such a unique and interesting experience. Beautiful country and unforgettable memories, just not quite the 5-star hotel experience we expected, especially as a special Birthday present to my amazing woman, which as always deserve the best and I feel this hotel failed us a bit.

We came in December so it was off season, the food was hit and miss some days great some days not the best but it’s was okay overall.
The hotel room definitely needs improvement, lots of places need’s paint and holes in the walls.
They don’t change your beds sheet, once every 3 days and even then they still don’t do it. You have to physically tell reception or chase the cleaners.
— Best things about the hotel —
The staff are great all of them are extremely friendly and helpful. Espically Hanad and a few others I don’t know how to spell there names.
The spa is amazing! Firesale massages, excellent stream room, sauna and heated indoor pool.

Location is great, has an amazing beach right on the door step . However the hotel itself isn’t great, food isn’t great, the room we had wasn't that clean and the door couldn’t be locked, the cleaners came in several times early in the morning and also they came in when getting changed. Multiple fixtures were broken and not secure including the toilet, tap and the shower wouldn’t run without the tap running. Several of the toilets located around the hotel were either broken or not clean. Selection of paid drinks weren’t great made using cheap syrups. Loud noises coming from the lobby area in the early hours of the morning which sounded like furniture being moved. Entertainment was very poor. Staff in the beach bar were great though. Bedding not getting changed during our stay, hotel needs a good renovation and updating. Not a 5 five hotel in the slightest, have stayed in better 3 star hotels.
