Wonderful stay and amazing staff!
We are currently staying at Mitsis Alexander the Great. The hotel is located in a truly beautiful place. The surrounding nature is stunning, with wonderful views and beautiful, crystal-clear sea. One of the highlights is definitely the beach — it has recently been renovated, and the new sunbeds are very comfortable. We also really enjoy the beach bar — it is very convenient, and the atmosphere is great.
Our room is small, but clean and comfortable, and the room is cleaned every day, so everything is always kept nice and tidy. The food is good, with enough variety for everyone to find something they enjoy.
But what we especially want to highlight is the staff. They are truly attentive, friendly and helpful, and they make such a difference to the whole experience.
A very special thank you to Zuriko — all our requests are always taken care of with great attention and genuine care. We constantly feel that he really wants to help and make our stay as comfortable as possible.
We would also like to give a special thank you to Giorgos and Alusine, bartenders, for their friendliness, attentiveness, great attitude and wonderful hospitality. People like them create such a warm atmosphere and make every day of our holiday even more enjoyable.
For us, this is what true hospitality means: when you don’t have to worry about anything because there are attentive people around you who remember your wishes and genuinely care about your comfort.
We are still enjoying our stay, but we already want to say a big thank you to the whole Mitsis Alexander the Great team for making our holiday so wonderful, comfortable and carefree!

We had a lovely family holiday (5 adults) at alexander the great.
For the price we paid for a fairly cheap all inclusive, it was all as expected and not at all as bad as the negative reviews.
We loved how quiet the pool area was, no fight for sun loungers. You often got the pool to yourself as most people chose the hotel beach.
Our rooms were clean and fairly modern but traditional with large balconies. When we had any minor issues (fault with shower) the maintenance staff were very quick to fix it and reception staff were very polite and helpful.
The buffet restaurant was good for breakfast, lunch and dinner, not a huge selection of choices but enough for the week. With a great view over cliff of the sea. The a la carte restaurant was great too.
The location was great as we could walk along the beach easily. We used taxis to Afytos and booked excursions through Jet 2. There's an onsite shop too with essentials
Overall we had a great time and would recommend.

I stayed at this hotel in June 2026, and we had a wonderful time with my mom.
The hotel territory is beautiful and very well maintained. The surrounding nature is stunning, and the sea is extremely clean. The beach has a Blue Flag, which is very reassuring. The sunbeds were new, and everything was spotless and well organized.
We chose the all-inclusive option, which made our stay even more comfortable and stress-free.
What is especially important to mention is that the staff is extremely kind, helpful, and professional. Special thanks to the reception team, especially Zouriko and Odysseas, for their outstanding hospitality. Also, special thanks to the Armenian lady Alvina at the reception, who was very kind and welcoming.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay, and I would gladly return again.

An Unforgettable Birthday Celebration at Canvas by Mitsis Alexander the Great
We had a wonderful stay at Canvas by Mitsis Alexander the Great, where we celebrated my husband’s 50th birthday. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with a fantastic location, amazing beach, crystal-clear water, and a truly relaxing atmosphere. We were extremely happy with our stay and enjoyed every moment of our time there.
For my husband’s special day, I booked the Adults Exclusive Birthday Package, and it was absolutely fantastic. Everything was prepared with great attention to detail and made his 50th birthday celebration feel truly special and unforgettable. The organization was excellent, and we really appreciated the effort and care that went into creating such a beautiful experience.
A very special thank you to Evangelia, who helped me arrange everything. She was wonderful, kind, professional, and always very helpful. Thanks to her, the whole process was smooth, and the birthday surprise turned out perfectly.
We would highly recommend Canvas by Mitsis Alexander the Great to anyone looking for a beautiful place to relax and celebrate special moments. Thank you for making our stay and my husband’s 50th birthday such a memorable experience. We will always remember this wonderful time.

Great place to be. Peaceful, beach is amazing, sunbeds are grate. There was no rush with sunbeds an no crowd. The stuff is polite. The hill is not so big it can be walked but they are driving as well to and from the beach on several minutes.
The food is ok, but it can be more adjusted to kids and maybe more options from day to day at least for lunch.
It would be nice if they had some playground for the kids as there is a lot of space an not any of this kids adjusted thingies :)
As well pool is too deep (2.40-2.60m) and not suitable for kids.
Apart of these two things everything was good, clean and enough for a pleasant stay.
