We stayed here for a week during December and we had a great time. The hotel is managed by the ajoing hotel so it's a 5 minute walk to reception however the staff were all very friendly and helpful. It's clean, rooms cleaned regularly; and the maids are out everyday keeping the bar and pool area spotless. The only reason we gave 4/5 was due to the walk from the bars and restaurants was up 205 steps so not for everybody. Also if you are staying on the upper floors the noise from the clubs below does make it difficult if you are a light sleeper. However Puerto Rico is a great place and highly recommended

There is absolutely nothing wrong with this hotel. The rooms are lovely and the service spot on. Cleaned regularly to a high standard. The pools and bar are fantastic. The only thing that let's this hotel down is it overlooking the strip at the bottom of the valley. The noise is unbearable from 1am to 4am. You cannot sleep. We were there in February and the temperature and weather was lovely and we were able to shut the doors. They need more sound proofing as you might as well be sitting in the bars as it is so noisy. In summary, hotel perfect, location / noise terrible.

Very nice and clean, spacious apartment, large balcony and good views. Swimming pool nice and clean, only problem are the "hienas" who early in the morning spreading the towels on the beds to claim the space for them selfs.
Overall very satisfied and would recommend to stay here.

Very clean hotel, the staff are friendly and the place is spotless! Rooms are very clean and the beds are nice, the balcony also stretched from bedroom to front room. Nice views over Puerto rico centre and beach / harbour. The only snag is that as you are opposite the many bars and clubs you can hear the loud music till gone 3am! However on the nights we had a good drink this was not a problem, if you are a very light sleeper ear plugs may be a good option. The pool was lovely, nice and cold to cold off and there were plenty of loungers, bar staff very friendly also.

First time visiting Altair apartments, booked through jet 2. Tad confusing when you arrive as the reception is shared with the hotel next door. Arrived late at night, good service when arrived and little shop in reception for most things that are needed. There's a lift from the street to reception then stairs to the pool area, all walk ways were kept very clean and well lit. Two pools and two bars (cocktails were great), and the room was spotless also the cleaner came in 5 days out of 7 changing the bedding, mopping and new towels. The only thing I wish I had known was there is a shower room you can use if you are leaving later on, to use the safe in your room it's £20 and £5 deposit and they did not let us know when check out time was, we asked. (12) The location is fantastic, looks high up on pictures but there are stairs down to the shopping centre where the restaurants are, only takes 5 mins and we walked the road back up which was easier but also so many taxis and it was never more than £5 for us to get back.
