We spent a wonderful week here in June with our two young children, and it was our first time both in Cyprus and at this hotel – we’ll definitely be returning!
After a long flight, the short transfer was a real bonus, and we were greeted with a warm welcome at reception. The hotel has so much to offer for families: plenty of activities for the children and fantastic pools that kept them entertained for hours.
The food was excellent, with a huge variety to suit everyone. Our daughter especially loved the children’s buffet – the lower counters and plastic plates may seem like small touches, but they made the experience feel inclusive and exciting for her.
What really made our stay unforgettable were the staff. Every single person we met was kind, welcoming, and went out of their way to look after us.

We just returned from a one-week stay at the Olympic Lagoon Resort in Paphos. While the reception staff was very welcoming, our initial experience with the room was disappointing. We had booked a room with partial sea view, but it had visible mold on the ceiling and wall, accompanied by a musty, damp smell. After reporting this, housekeeping responded by spraying heavy amounts of the hotel’s signature fragrance into the air conditioning system and all over the room—even the curtains. Covering up the issue with perfume does not make the air healthy, and for someone who values clean, fresh air to sleep in, this was far from acceptable.
After two sleepless and stressful nights, we were upgraded to a proper sea view room, which was much better. However, losing two nights of rest on a one-week holiday is simply not acceptable, especially given the price and the resort's 5-star rating.
The food in the main restaurant is generally good for an all-inclusive resort, but the desserts are extremely poor—mostly frozen mousse or industrial cakes that look like they've been picked over. Six years ago, we stayed here and were much more impressed by the food and drink quality. Now, for example, cocktails are made with soda from a syrup dispenser instead of proper bottled drinks. It’s clear there has been a noticeable decline.
On a positive note, the staff across the resort are genuinely kind and hard-working—kudos to the entire team.
But to be honest, we wouldn’t book this hotel again.

This is a great entertaining all- inclusive hotel. The food is great and the staff is super friendly. There are plenty of pools for everyone and you never get the feeling the hotel is full. The rooms are a bit run down and in need of refurbishing, as does the bed linnen, which rather feels like sand paper and makes a lot of noise. Although the resort is beach front, this was the part that was more disappointing. There's no real beach but rather some patches where you have sand mixed with grass or roots of some sort. The sea also is very much filled with a lot of seaweed the whole time, giving rather a dirty impression vs. the clean water experience that Cyprus should be having. Hotel entertainment is great and for all ages; a lot of effort is put into it. So all in all an OK stay with some pros and cons.

We had the most fabulous stay at this 5-star hotel in Paphos! From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable—special thanks to Dimitri Dimitrio, who went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. Every detail was taken care of with such care and professionalism. The food was absolutely delicious with so much variety, the pool area was pristine and relaxing, and the facilities throughout the hotel were top-notch. You can really feel the attention to detail in everything they do. Can’t wait to come back—highly recommended! Thank you also for the surprise birthday cake and balloon delivered to my room. What a lovely surprise!

We recently spent Easter at the Olympic Lagoon Resort in Paphos, and it was an unforgettable experience. The staff went above and beyond to make the holiday special. They had thoughtfully arranged transport for guests who wished to attend the local church service, which was such a lovely touch. After the service, there was delicious traditional Easter food available, and everything was perfectly organized.
A special mention must go to Lucia, the restaurant manager, who was absolutely amazing—warm, professional, and always attentive. She made every meal feel personal and welcoming.
The pools were sparkling clean and well-maintained throughout our stay, adding to the relaxing atmosphere. And the food—what can I say? It was absolutely incredible. From the variety at the buffet to the quality of ingredients, every meal exceeded our expectations.
We left feeling refreshed, well-fed, and truly cared for. I would highly recommend Olympic Lagoon Paphos, especially for a special occasion like Easter.
