I recently stayed at Anmira Resort & Spa in Hoi An as an Anantara Vacation Club member, and the experience was genuinely memorable. The resort’s décor beautifully captures the charm of traditional Hoi An architecture, creating a peaceful and elegant atmosphere from the moment you arrive.
I visited in November, just after the city’s flooding had been cleared, and the resort was pleasantly quiet—a perfect retreat for my family and children. Our room was spacious and we were kindly upgraded, which added an extra touch of luxury to the stay.
Breakfast was decent, though I’d love to see a wider selection of both Western and Vietnamese dishes to match the resort’s high standards. What truly stood out were the thoughtful conveniences: complimentary shuttles to and from the Old Town, bicycles for exploring, toddler seats, and even a cot for the room—everything a travelling family could need.
Overall, Anmira offers a blend of luxury, comfort, and value that’s hard to beat. A wonderful stay that I’d highly recommend, especially if you’re looking for upscale relaxation without the upscale price tag.

A Truly Wonderful Stay in Hoi An!
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Anmira Resort & Spa Hoi An and it was such a lovely experience. The hotel is beautifully designed, peaceful, and very well maintained. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the overall atmosphere made our stay very relaxing.
What made our experience even more special was the excellent service from the staff. I would especially like to give a big thank you to Ms. Quynh from the Reservations team. She was incredibly helpful, professional, and responsive throughout the booking process. She supported me a lot with my reservation and made everything smooth and easy. Her kindness and dedication truly stood out.
I would also like to compliment the bellman team. They were very friendly, kind, and always ready to help with a warm smile. Their hospitality made us feel welcomed from the very first moment we arrived.
Overall, it was a fantastic stay and I highly recommend Anmira Resort & Spa Hoi An to anyone visiting Hoi An. I would definitely love to come back again in the future.

Such a lovely stay at Anmira! Big thanks to Ha and Linh at the Front Desk for sharing great local tips. Honestly, asking locals for recommendations makes the trip so much better than following tourist spots. Loved riding the resort’s bicycles around Hoi An, super relaxing and fun. Breakfast buffet was nice and varied, and all the staff were always smiling and friendly, you can really feel the warmth of Hoi An people. The female receptionist who checked me in was also very sweet, wish I had asked her name!

Overall, I had a wonderful experience here. The atmosphere is very lovely, the rooms are spacious and very comfortable.
The breakfast buffet is beautifully done, its actually a masterpiece. I was very grateful for the vegetarian options.
My only challenge had to do with Internet connectivity. As a remote worker and educator, all of my work is done online. I had significant issues with accessing websites, very poor and intermittent connection. On one occasion, I worked in the lobby area where I was able to access stronger connection. I don't know if it was the location of my room or what the problem was
Because I work so much, it would have been nice to access Netflix or Prime. Other than these things I loved staying at Anmira.i highly recommend it.

Main highlight would probably be the pool - it's clean, decently sized with a kiddy pool (but they only have 1 kid life jacket?) & there seems to be a staff patrolling every now & then as it's not fenced off. The buffet food options in the morning are good & change daily (but there's only 1 high chair available?) They do have bicycles for hire but not sure about using them with the kids. I don't think this resort overall is good for family with younger kids...maybe more suited for couples or family with older kids? 🤔
Although this place has a kids play room, it's small. The pavement to the buildings are very rocky & uneven, making it easily to trip - especially when there are staff watering their plants & leaving the hose line out. My child tripped over the hose that they laid across our room entrance & cried from splitting their lip (staff could've put hose closer to the grass-side or at least have someone warn about the trip hazard...), the staff kept doing what they did & seemed like they didn't care...there are a few steps after entering in our room (another trip hazard which we adults almost had accidents a few times - there are already steps just outside the door why do they need more inside?), mosquitoes everywhere (there doesn't seem to be any preventative in place eg. Coils/natural oil repellents, not even inside the rooms) despite closing the doors as per their info pamphlet in the room, there's a bathtub outside the back of our room but we don't want to be mosquito food, light switches are weirdly located, insufficient towel hooks which are also awkwardly located, the floorboards creek & some spots feel sticky, glass entry doors look nice but the blockout curtains need to be drawn every time otherwise outside people can see right through your whole room because of the intentional design with large holes through each wall...noise from outside & next door can be heard surprisingly easily, there's also no phone reception so you must use their free non-secure wifi 😅
