The resort is nice, and most of the restaurant staff have been friendly and accommodating. However, there is one staff member whose behavior has been consistently unpleasant during my stay.
I have been staying here for almost a month, and I’ve noticed several occasions where he approaches guests and students in a rude or impolite manner. Today, he finally tested my patience. My friends and I entered through the kitchen door because it was the closest entrance from the gym. We were only informed today that guests are not allowed to use that entrance. That was completely fine, but instead of approaching us politely, he immediately said, “Hey, you can’t enter through that door,” in a harsh and unwelcoming tone.
He may have simply been following management’s instructions, but there is always a respectful way to communicate with guests. He could have waited until we were seated or spoken to us in a more courteous manner.
I’ve also noticed him shouting at students on several occasions. While I understand that the students can sometimes be noisy or difficult to manage, I believe they should still be treated with respect. Being firm is understandable, but being rude is unnecessary.
Overall, I’ve had a pleasant experience at this resort, but I hope management can address this issue and remind staff that professionalism includes treating every guest with courtesy and respect.

Pros:
- Staff: The overall staff was friendly and polite throughout our stay.
- Price: Price was relatively low for a resort.
Cons:
- Slow Wi-Fi: The internet connection was consistently slow, which made staying connected difficult. Our rooms were near the pool and all family members reported slow Wi-Fi.
- Lack of Communication: During our stay, when we handed items directly to the staff (such as extra cups or leaving slippers outside), they never noted these items down or warned us that they needed to remain inside the room to avoid charges.
- Inconsistent & Unfair Room Inventory Process: We booked 4 rooms for a large family stay. Naturally, items moved around slightly between our rooms. The hotel struggled to reconcile the total inventory, even though everything remained within our group. We eventually found several items ourselves (under beds).
- Unclear Charging Policy: At checkout, they claimed we were missing hangers and slippers. However, when we requested to double-check the rooms ourselves within 40 minutes of checking out. When we walked to the room, the two rooms had already been cleaned and we were not allowed back in to verify.
- Unreasonable Remedy Solutions : Despite our firm assurances that we did not take anything, the hotel forced us to pay for the alleged missing items anyway. We had no way to prove that the inventory matches because rooms were already being cleaned. For most 4-5 stars resorts we stayed in, when customers are not settled, they cannot clean the room and clear out inventory. And if it does, it is only fair to make an exceptions because there are proven to be loopholes in the processes.
Advice to Management:
If the hotel insists on being this strict and rigorous about minor in-room items, there must be an explicit inventory list and clear price list in every room so guests know exactly what is tracked and charged. The employees must be trained on not taking in-room items if they are to be charged.
The rooms cannot be cleared if there’s discrepancies in inventory.
Charging guests for items after denying them the chance to inspect rooms leaves a very bitter taste.

Our family had a great 5 nights at Anmira.
The staff were friendly and accommodating, from helping with complementary shuttles to and from old town to transferring us to Da Nang when we checked out they would always greet us with a smile.
The buffet breakfast was a hit with the kids as was the pool and all the other facilities.

During our trip to Hoi an we stayed at Anmira resort and it was phenomenal. We were warmly welcomed by Annie who spoke very well and offered amazing recommendations around town. The rooms were lovely as well as buffet breakfast and ammenities such as the pool and the gym. It is conveniently close to town as well!
Thank you Anmira for the wonderful stay in Hoi An!

Marvellous staff, always doing over the top things to make you served!
Just be gentle and polite, understand that they have a language barrier, but they will go crazy to help you!
Eapecially incredible Mr. Truong The Busy Man!
You truly saved my struggling kids and saved my nerves!
Thanks soo much!
Yet location is a very serious problem, too much far off Danang, 30 kms, major shopping malls and pharmacies are within an hour of drive, etc
But if you drive a motorcycle this is not a problem
