My husband and I stayed here with our two kids and it was fantastic. The rooms are spacious, beautiful, and clean. It’s conveniently located near Epcot and the Skyliner. The restaurants on site are great, and the ones at the yacht club next door are great too. My kids absolutely loved loved loved the pool. 10/10 and would stay here again any day.

We loved this resort so much and it has definitely made our top 3.
Pros: It’s proximity to 2 parks and the lively Boardwalk area is hard to beat. We could get to the International Gateway entrance of EPCOT by foot in about 10 minutes! This made mid day breaks and late nights so easy. The pool is sprawling and full of fun surprises. Service is amazing as always.
Cons: some of the upkeep is a little rough in the rooms (even in refurbished) or dated around the resort and the lobby is missing a bit of the wow factor you get at other resorts, and I really wish the quick service wasn't inside the gift shop as well.
The theming is subtle (by Disney standards) but still fun and it really transports you. Last thought is that I wish they had a grand villa for dvc here, the 2bd bathroom situation was tight when we had the room at capacity.

This is a nice place. Zero major complaints. In fact, the food options were really excellent. There are like 4 restaurants and a market with solid grab-and-go food options. The rooms are roomy enough, fairly well-maintained. However, the power outlets were so old in our room that they didn't hold our chargers so we woke up our first day with our phones dead. They absolutely should be replaced. I went to every single outlet in our room and none of them would hold the charger. I travel constantly for work and use that charger everywhere, so this is absolutely not normally an issue.
The staff was very nice and helpful like you would expect. I will say that when we stayed at the Polynesian - which I believe is the same price - they were more welcoming with the leis and the general atmosphere, but that's not really a surprise. I just wish there was more of a kid-focused theme at Beach Club. Yacht Club, sure, that would target more adult guests. But Beach Club doesn't sound like it needs to be so buttoned up.
Another positive for Beach Club is the proximity to Epcot. It's a sub-10-minute walk to the back entrance of Epcot, which is right by Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, which is fantastic. I LOVE the ability to walk in and walk out, especially when Epcot is a place where there's more food than rides, and if you have Park Hopper, you can easily spend the morning somewhere else and then jump to Epcot for dinner.
Also, the Skyliner and Friendship Boat are great options to get to Hollywood Studios. There are buses to the other parks, which take more time, but are completely free. Overall, the accessibility is great!
Compared to the Polynesian - the only other place I've stayed on property:
- Beach Club has far more food options. Polynesian has Dole Whip and is an 18-minute-walk from the Grand Floridian, but nowhere near as many options as Beach Club / Yacht Club.
- Access to Epcot is as good as any property (Contemporary to Magic Kingdom is similar). Plus easy access to Hollywood Studios.
- I think Polynesian pools are a little better, but there are more at Beach / Yacht club.

I requested a room close to the elevators, as walking long distances is difficult for me. They put me in the room that was farthest possible from the elevators, the exact opposite from what I asked for. I was told there wasn’t a close room available, but I find that very hard to believe. There was hardly ever anyone else waiting for an elevator when I used them. If they were that full, I should have been seeing crowded elevators.
The room itself was a good size, a corner room, but it is in need of renovation. Outlets were so worn that my plugs practically fell right out. I had a view of a rooftop and a truckyard, and the inside of the awning was covered in green mildew.
I’m giving this a 3 only because of some pluses. Location of the resort is a definite plus, and bell services was very friendly and helpful. Most cast members I encountered were very friendly. The one I spoke with about my room location didn’t seem to understand why it was such a big deal that I was put in the absolute farthest room when I had requested near to elevators.

This hotel is so beautiful, and it has such a special scent.
It's very well located in the Epcot area, and we can walk to and from the park.
Very organized, kind cast members, always clean bathrooms and pleasant common areas. They always have some activity for the guests, such as s'mores nights, movies on the beach, etc.
