You would think that a hot shower these days could be easily provided for the money Disney charges for their resorts. Not at the Beach Club. Every morning I had to take an at best lukewarm shower. They also have installed motion sensors on the AC thermostat. You cannot put the temp lower than 68 and it'll blow out cold air ONLY if you are moving so for sleepwalkers this isn't a problem. The room gets very warm at night and we stayed in February. I did buy some electrical tape and covered the sensor but it still got warm so there must be an additional restriction to cold air actually blowing. We've stayed at the Yacht Club and Caribbean Beach. Yacht Club was great. I'd definitely stay there over Beach Club

Oh what a most delightful time that we've experienced at the Disney's Beach Club resort many a time. First of all, the staff is always oh so kind, most hospitable, and very wonderful. Isn't it often that the people of the organization make the most positive experience in a vacation stay. The resort is always so beautiful with its wonderful rooms and beautiful grounds. For restaurants here, we love Cape May with its great evening seafood buffet and scrumptious morning breakfast with characters for families and the like. And, Ale and Compass at Yacht Club steps nearby is very delicious with their great steaks and breakfast and most delicious parker house rolls. Beach Club is just a quick stroll from Epcot and Hollywood Studios which makes its proximity a must or a quick boat right to resorts with terrific skippers. And, a bus ride to the Magic Kingdom. And, if you enjoy swimming, two words always come to mind- Stormalong Bay. It has a massive and spacious 3 acre amazing pool. So much fun! After swimming, it is always nice and very enjoyable to grab a hot fudge sundae at Beaches and Cream very close by. We will always in the future stay at Disney's Beach Club Resort for its great staff, great rooms and restaurants and close proximity to many of its parks. Thank you!

This resort is one of the best on property. The rooms were very good and were kept in great condition. The service was the best and they were so nice! The amenities were top notch like the Stormalong Bay pool. The location was absolutely incredible as you can walk to Epcot in 5 minutes and you can walk, take the Skyliner, or use a boat to get to Hollywood Studios. An absolutely amazing resort. Would definitely recommend!

Our stay at Disney’s Beach Club Resort was mixed.
On the positive side, the location is outstanding — being within walking distance to EPCOT is incredibly convenient and a major advantage. The lobby and overall hotel appearance are beautiful, and the coastal theme is charming and well done.
That said, the experience didn’t feel luxurious, especially considering the price. The rooms are noticeably dated and in need of a refresh. The bed was quite firm, the pillows were uncomfortable, and service throughout our stay felt average rather than exceptional. We were also surprised by the limited room service options.
Overall, you are paying a premium for proximity and Disney convenience. If being close to EPCOT is your priority and you’re less concerned about luxury, it’s a solid choice. If you’re expecting a true high-end resort experience for the price, you may find it underwhelming.

Disney’s Beach Club Resort is one of those places that instantly feels relaxing the moment you walk in. The light, airy New England–style theming, soft colors, and breezy atmosphere make it feel like a true vacation escape. The location is a huge win — you can walk to Epcot and take a quick boat ride to Hollywood Studios, which makes park hopping incredibly easy. The overall vibe is calm and classy without feeling stuffy, and it’s perfect if you like a quieter, more laid-back Disney resort with beautiful surroundings.
What really sets Beach Club apart is Stormalong Bay, often considered the best pool area on Disney property. The sand-bottom pool, lazy river, and shipwreck slide make it feel more like a water park than a hotel pool. The dining options are solid, with Beaches & Cream being a fan favorite for nostalgic treats, and the nearby BoardWalk area adds even more food and entertainment choices. If you want a resort that feels like a true retreat while still being close to the action, Beach Club is one of Disney’s best choices for both relaxation and convenience
