This was our first 7-day trip to a country with such a warm climate, and at first we were worried that a whole week might feel too long. In the end, it was exactly the opposite – after seven days, we didn’t want to leave because we enjoyed it so much.
The island is beautiful, and we loved everything about our stay – the hotel, the surroundings, and the food. The location is great: about a 15-minute walk to the beach, with plenty of peace and quiet, but also close enough to the centre when you feel like going out.
What made this place truly special for us was the staff. They were genuinely kind, friendly, and welcoming. They left a big impression on my teenager, and their energy, together with the atmosphere of the hotel, reminded me of being at a summer camp many years ago. :)
The owners were also very warm and friendly, never trying to stand out or draw attention to themselves, which I believe contributes greatly to the cosy and welcoming atmosphere they have created.
We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this place. We can’t wait for the opportunity to come back.
Thank you all so much for making our stay so special. ❤️

Great location and close to tavernas, bars and local supermarket. All the staff are brilliant and make sure all is good with you..The hotel pool.and bar make for relaxing days, reading, swimming while drinks icecreams, snacks and other food.is available. The beach is around 20 mins walk..Good for families as fairly shallow water unless you walk out further. All in all we had tremendous holiday with breakfast setting us up.for the day with extensive choices.. I hope to retutn soon!
Even though its listed as a 3 star hotel, the spaciousness and attention to cleanliness make it a 4 star in my opinion.
Many thanks to everyone!

We stayed at Petros Hotel after booking a last-minute Jet2 deal just two weeks before we flew, and because the price was so incredibly good, we expected a fairly basic hotel. We couldn’t have been more wrong!
From the moment we arrived, the staff were absolutely wonderful. Every single member of the team was friendly, welcoming, helpful and genuinely seemed to care that you were having a great holiday. Nothing was too much trouble, and they made us feel like valued guests throughout our stay.
Our room was spacious, clean and had a great wet room bathroom with a fantastic shower. The beds were comfortable, there were plenty of plugs and mirrors, plus a good-sized fridge and kettle. Air conditioning and the safe were an additional charge, which we expected as this is very common in Greece, and we thought both were reasonably priced and well worth paying for. Our room was lightly cleaned every day, with bins emptied daily too, which is especially appreciated in Greece where toilet paper can’t be flushed.
Our balcony was a lovely place to sit with a morning coffee or evening drink. The view wasn’t anything special as it overlooked the neighbouring hotel, but honestly, it didn’t bother us in the slightest considering the bargain price we paid and how little time we actually spent in the room.
The location was ideal—around a 10–15 minute walk into the centre of Tsilivi, where you’re spoiled for choice with fantastic restaurants, bars and shops, then another short stroll to the beautiful beach. We particularly loved spending time at Barracuda Beach Bar. Everything about the holiday felt easy, relaxed and stress-free.
The pool area was lovely, and the pool bar was excellent too. There was a really good selection of snacks, all reasonably priced and freshly prepared. We’d highly recommend the Greek salad and the club sandwiches—they were absolutely delicious! The drinks were also fantastic, especially the strawberry daiquiris, which quickly became our holiday favourite.
The only slight downside was some guests ignoring the hotel’s request not to reserve sunbeds before 9:30am. Unfortunately, many beds were left empty for hours with towels on them. That’s no reflection on the hotel, just disappointing behaviour from a few guests.
I’d also like to mention the breakfast because I’d seen some negative reviews beforehand. We honestly don’t understand the criticism! We found there to be an excellent selection of both hot and cold options every morning—more than enough to set you up for the day.
Overall, Petros Hotel exceeded every expectation we had. It offered incredible value for money, fantastic staff, comfortable accommodation and a brilliant location. We had such a wonderful holiday and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. We would 100% recommend it and will definitely be back!

Not long back from a weeks stay here and I have no complaints about the hotel at all.
Other than checking in and out we had no need to speak to the reception for any help which is a good thing. When we did speak to them they was polite and answered any questions we had.
We upgraded to the junior suite that is in the new block, so I can't speak for the older rooms, but ours had everything we needed. Had to pay for the air con and safe, which is expected in smaller, family ran hotels, and both was fine. Rooms was spacious.
Can't fault the pool bar staff and the food we got from there was good.
Unlike some places, sun beds was always available, although to ensure you had an umbrella you'd have to get there early.
I wasn't expecting much from the breakfast, but the sausages and Greek bacon tasted good. But the 'hot' items could be hotter.
I can see us returning to this hotel for sure.

Comfortable and clean hotel, with everything we needed. To have rated it 5 out of 5, I would have wanted: air con and safe to be included without having to pay extra, shower gel and shampoo to be provided in bathrooms, a curtain/blind on the second bedroom window in the junior suite, enough chairs for all 4 people to sit outside and a bit more variety at breakfast and definitely nicer coffee! The childrens playground was also a bit rubbish. Everything else was just right, it's a reasonably small hotel so no problems with queuing at breakfast or getting sunloungers, the pool areas were great, kids pool a lovely size for them and the mushroom was fun, the courtesy room to shower/change after check out was perfect for family use, the staff were friendly. The room was comfortable and well furnished, the bathroom was modern and being in a junior suite on the ground floor our terrace went straight out to the kids pool so it felt like our own private pool/play area for rhe kids. The location was fine for us, it's on the edge of the resort so nice and quiet but only about 15 mins walk to the centre/beach and there's a supermarket a few mins walk away.
