We absolutely love this hotel. We have been coming here for the past few years now. We've just arrived back home n hoping to book again soon for summer time. We love to have a sea view, there's nothing better than sitting on the balcony in the morning with a coffee n looking out over the ocean, which you look directly over to Turkey. Our room this year has been the best we all loved it n it made a huge difference having an ensuite!. The room was lovely, very clean, everything we needed. We arrived to a lovely bottle of wine n fresh fruit in our room with complimentary teas, coffees n bottled water too, which the housekeeper refilled every morning. The hotel is lovely, there has been a huge improvement since last year inside n the outside pool area, it's all looking amazing. The staff are all very lovely n very friendly. I recognised a few n was the same lovely familiar faces on reception whom are all very helpful with anything you need.
I can't wait to come back to Rhodes n Sun Beach Resort it's one of my favorite places in the world.

We spent a fantastic 7 days at the Sun Beach Resort on an All Inclusive basis. We arrived at the hotel in the middle of the night and were pleasantly surprised – a cold plate and a bottle of wine were waiting for us in the fridge. After a long journey, it was a truly brilliant welcome!Our room was located in the building across the street (in the Garden Wing). The room itself was perfectly acceptable – clean and well-equipped, though to be completely honest, the bathroom could use some refreshing and renovation. However, the absolute highlight was that we stayed on the fourth floor. Because of this, we had a beautiful view of both the sea and the mountains from our balcony, and watching the evening sunsets from that perspective was simply unforgettable!What truly sets this hotel apart is the service and the gastronomy. The entire staff is extremely professional, helpful, and always smiling. The food was absolutely delicious, and the cuisine was of the highest standard! Every single meal was a great pleasure, and the variety of dishes was impressive. Personally, I absolutely loved their chocolate pancakes – they were incredible!There are three swimming pools on the property (not counting the children's pool) available for guests to use. Everyone can find a perfect spot for themselves. The only downside and something we found a bit unfair was that the All Inclusive formula does not apply at the adults-only pool, meaning you have to pay extra for all orders there.But as the saying goes, every cloud has a silver lining! Because of this, we moved to a different bar and discovered the real gem of this hotel. We would like to give a massive shoutout and the highest possible rating to Michael the bartender! Michael worked the morning shift and made hands-down the best, most delicious cocktails. On top of that, he is incredibly friendly, professional, and knows how to create a great atmosphere. Michael, you are the best and you do an amazing job – people want to return to a hotel because of staff like you!To sum up: a very successful holiday, breathtaking views from the fourth floor, 5-star cuisine, and Michael on the morning shift is a master of his craft! Highly recommended!

Important note: There are several wings in the hotel. We stayed in the beachfront (newly renovated wing), and took the self-catering package, so I have no comments on the food quality, or the room quality in the non-renovated part. But wow, the room was incredible, everything felt brand new (appliances, etc. honestly, maybe it was), the apartment is comfortable and extremely well maintained, with a great view. Daily cleaning service with bottled water provided was a nice touch. I would not hesitate to stay there again since the apartment was so nice. Also, the room had a kids table and chairs which our two year old loved, and that's not something that you can even search for.
Blackout curtains! Amazing.Honestly with the high-quality of the room, it makes these things feel nit-picking, but a few dodgy decisions prevent the resort from being 10/10:
A couch in the room would have been nice, the single sleeper couch is very uncomfortable.
The kitchen is well stocked, but missing bowls and could do with a few more cups. Good enough though.
There are no shower doors, just a half-pane of glass, causing the bathroom floor to get very wet.
The sun beds on the "private beach" are at an extra €5 cost and the sun beds at the adults only pool are subject to a €10 bar spend - really unclassy decisions that makes it seem that the management are chasing small cash at the expense of guest satisfaction, quite pitiful.
There are tons of facilities at the hotel but it is very unclear how to use them. Is there equipment for the mingolf or ping pong available to borrow? Games for the Playstation in the room? What is the entertainment schedule for the kid's miniclub? There is no explanation of the resort, it needs more self-advertising, I should need to hunt down information.

Beautiful room in premium sea view. Ground floor with fantastic sea views.
Complex and hotel spotless. All staff extremely friendly.
We were self catering so can't really comment on food although we did the pool snack bar and found it very reasonable.
Will definitely come back.
Be prepared for the planes going over. Although loadcat times we didn't find them intrusive and you are on an island so expected some noise.

We arrived at sun beach on the 1st of may for 5 nights, after a long day of traveling we went to the bar (that had the most amazing view) which wasn't very highlighted and had to ask reception where it was, Maybe a nice sign would help to show that there's a bar there. We were greeted by a lovely friendly bar man who we saw every night after as nothing was too much for him. (Michael) He made the most incredible cocktails 🍸 they are a must!!!!. He was a absolute star! And so was the young man too.
We were very unlucky with the weather, the rooms were nice and clean and updated.
