Wonderful stay and amazing staff! We are currently staying at Mitsis Alexander the Great. The hotel is located in a truly beautiful place. The surrounding nature is stunning, with wonderful views and beautiful, crystal-clear sea. One of the highlights is definitely the beach — it has recently been renovated, and the new sunbeds are very comfortable. We also really enjoy the beach bar — it is very convenient, and the atmosphere is great. Our room is small, but clean and comfortable, and the room is cleaned every day, so everything is always kept nice and tidy. The food is good, with enough variety for everyone to find something they enjoy. But what we especially want to highlight is the staff. They are truly attentive, friendly and helpful, and they make such a difference to the whole experience. A very special thank you to Zuriko — all our requests are always taken care of with great attention and genuine care. We constantly feel that he really wants to help and make our stay as comfortable as possible. We would also like to give a special thank you to Giorgos and Alusine, bartenders, for their friendliness, attentiveness, great attitude and wonderful hospitality. People like them create such a warm atmosphere and make every day of our holiday even more enjoyable. For us, this is what true hospitality means: when you don’t have to worry about anything because there are attentive people around you who remember your wishes and genuinely care about your comfort. We are still enjoying our stay, but we already want to say a big thank you to the whole Mitsis Alexander the Great team for making our holiday so wonderful, comfortable and carefree!

We had a lovely family holiday (5 adults) at alexander the great. For the price we paid for a fairly cheap all inclusive, it was all as expected and not at all as bad as the negative reviews. We loved how quiet the pool area was, no fight for sun loungers. You often got the pool to yourself as most people chose the hotel beach. Our rooms were clean and fairly modern but traditional with large balconies. When we had any minor issues (fault with shower) the maintenance staff were very quick to fix it and reception staff were very polite and helpful. The buffet restaurant was good for breakfast, lunch and dinner, not a huge selection of choices but enough for the week. With a great view over cliff of the sea. The a la carte restaurant was great too. The location was great as we could walk along the beach easily. We used taxis to Afytos and booked excursions through Jet 2. There's an onsite shop too with essentials Overall we had a great time and would recommend.

Nice experience, close to the beach. The room was very nice and daily cleaned. The food was not so diversified and I would expected some sea food. But you have what to eat. A lot of fresh fruits , sweets, salads , pasta, and 2 kind of meat usually. Personal, I consider to return there. The beach is very nice with very comfortable sunbeds (the best that I met in Greece.) The staff is always open to listen your request :)

I stayed at Mitsis Hotel in Greece last summer, and I had an amazing experience. Everything about the stay was wonderful from start to finish. The beach was very calm and extremely clean, and the water was crystal clear , you could even see fish swimming around :))) We had an all-inclusive package, and there was a beach bar where you could enjoy cold drinks anytime, which made it even better. The ice cream was super delicious, and the iced coffee was my favorite! The food was absolutely amazing, with a lot of variety and great quality every day. One of my favorite things was the view from the restaurant; while eating, you could see the sea right from the window, which made the experience feel really magical. The room was clean and nicely decorated, very comfortable to stay in. The bathroom was also spotless, which I really appreciated. On top of that, the staff were extremely kind and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. Overall, I had a great time and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation in Greece. All the pictures are taken at the hotel💛✨

I stayed at this hotel in June 2026, and we had a wonderful time with my mom. The hotel territory is beautiful and very well maintained. The surrounding nature is stunning, and the sea is extremely clean. The beach has a Blue Flag, which is very reassuring. The sunbeds were new, and everything was spotless and well organized. We chose the all-inclusive option, which made our stay even more comfortable and stress-free. What is especially important to mention is that the staff is extremely kind, helpful, and professional. Special thanks to the reception team, especially Zouriko and Odysseas, for their outstanding hospitality. Also, special thanks to the Armenian lady Alvina at the reception, who was very kind and welcoming. Overall, we had a fantastic stay, and I would gladly return again.

A True Gem for a Family Vacation – Highly Recommended! Total transparency and zero disappointment: the reality of this hotel perfectly matches, if not exceeds, its online description. We spent 17 wonderful days at Acrotel Elea Beach, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish. As a family of four, this hotel provided us with everything we needed for a peaceful and unforgettable vacation. We booked a Family Room and received two incredibly spacious, spotless, and comfortable rooms. The beds were very comfortable, and both rooms had efficient air conditioning. The bathroom was large, clean, and modern. Housekeeping did a fantastic job every single day, keeping everything fresh and tidy. The room was fully equipped with everything we could need: wardrobes in both rooms, a safety deposit box, a minibar, a kettle, and a TV. The Wi-Fi worked good throughout our stay. We also loved the large, furnished balcony—the drying rack was a super convenient touch for hanging wet swimsuits after a day at the pool! The hotel location is ideal, just steps away from Elea Beach. The grounds are beautifully maintained, lush, and green. The maintenance staff works tirelessly every day to keep the property immaculate, doing so quietly and respectfully without ever disturbing the guests. Waking up to the stunning sea view from the balcony, surrounded by nature and the peaceful sound of cicadas, was pure magic. We want to give a special thank you to the entire hotel team for their exceptional hospitality. From the housekeeping and restaurant servers to the maintenance staff, everyone works 100% to ensure guests have the best experience. Always smiling, attentive, and warm—the staff is truly what creates the calm and relaxing atmosphere of this place. The hotel features two fantastic pools: a shallow one perfect for small kids, and a deeper one that is also great for families. Even when the hotel was fully booked, the pool area never felt overcrowded, and there was always plenty of space. There are lots of comfortable sunbeds, umbrellas, and natural shade from the trees. The pool bar is conveniently located right next to it, making it easy to grab a refreshing drink or ice cream. Plus, the sea view from the pool deck is simply breathtaking. The hotel offers flexible meal plans, including breakfast-only, half-board (with the great option to swap dinner for lunch), and all-inclusive. The food was consistently fresh, delicious, and offered a wide variety of dishes to choose from every day. Acrotel Elea Beach is a calm, beautiful, and exceptionally welcoming place. We enjoyed every single moment of our 17-day stay and couldn't have asked for a better holiday. We would love to come back! An Unexpected Delight: Exceptional Service and High-Quality Hospitality This was our 6th visit to Halkidiki, but our first time staying at Acrotel Elea Beach. To be honest, before arriving, I expected it to be just a small, ordinary, and traditional old-style hotel. However, the food, drinks, and service completely blew us away and exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we arrived, the two ladies at the reception welcomed us with warm smiles and incredibly friendly service. They checked us into our Superior Room in the main building, which was modern, clean, very comfortable, and offered a nice sea view. The pool bar was an absolute highlight. The bartenders craft fresh, genuine cocktails and high-quality coffee. This is a refreshing contrast to other all-inclusive hotels that usually serve artificial-flavored drinks from a machine. What amazed us the most was when we ordered a Mojito—the bartender went straight to the garden patch right next to the bar to pick fresh mint leaves on the spot! This level of dedication to using real, fresh ingredients is extremely rare and hard to find at an all-inclusive resort. As for the restaurant, while the selection is small, every single dish was fine, tasty, and well-prepared. On top of that, the location is highly convenient; there are at least 5 gorgeous, crystal-clear beaches within just a 5-minute drive. If you appreciate genuine hospitality, great quality food, and real drinks over massive, commercial resorts, this place is a hidden gem. We will definitely come back!

This is a beautiful hotel in a stunning location. The staff are exemplary and I would recommend it in a heartbeat. We stayed with our two children for a week in May. We had a 1st floor room with a sea facing balcony. It was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. The all inclusive service offers excellent value for money with a good selection at the buffet and an extensive drinks package. It also included mini golf and table tennis which we fully utilised! The pool are was comfortable and clean and there were always sunbeds available. The best thing about this hotel was the staff who went above and beyond to ensure we had a brilliant holiday. Quit, green, amazing hotel. We enjoyed everything. The stuff is very friendly. Exterior and interior in Greek style. Our children liked the pool and pool bar. Spectacular views from the balcony, and from the dinner terrase, and beautiful swallows around. The food is tasty and the choice is big enough, from fries to traditional Greece cuisine dishes. Beach side is narrow, there weren't many people-beautiful unspoiled beach.

Barely acceptable. We had our summer trip in this hotel, we thought based on the good reviews and to be a 4 star the experience would be different. We had this sentiment of people wanting to take the most of you all the time charging for everything. We reserved a room with half board included. We traveled with our baby

The Chrousso Village hotel is a lovely place, the location is excellent, and the surrounding yard and green areas are beautiful, spacious, and very well maintained. The food is good and offers a wide variety of choices, so there is something for everyone. However, there were some significant drawbacks that negatively affected our stay. The biggest disappointment was the pool policy. My 10-year-old son was repeatedly prevented from swimming in the pool by the lifeguard and was constantly directed to the baby section of the pool. It was frustrating and difficult to understand why a child of his age was not allowed to use the regular pool. This situation occurred throughout our stay and greatly reduced our enjoyment of the holiday. We were also unhappy with the bed, which was old and uncomfortable and made it difficult to sleep well. In addition, the quality of the drinks at the bar was poor. Most beverages seemed to come from machines, which resulted in a very artificial taste and did not meet the standard we expected from a hotel of this category. Overall, while the food, location, and beautiful surroundings were definite positives, the uncomfortable bed, low-quality drinks, and especially the unreasonable restrictions placed at the pool left us disappointed with the overall experience. Two years ago I would recommend the hotel but now...No.

Really enjoyed our stay! The staff were super friendly, the rooms were clean, the pools were great, and the food had plenty of choice. The beach is beautiful and just a short walk away. We found this hotel after a pretty big disappointment at a so-called "five stars" that barely deserved 3⭐️. It saved our honeymoon! Nice staff, cool atmosphere, and activities all day long for those who enjoy it. Room was comfortable and clean, food was particularly good, with a nice variety of western and greek cuisine! They don't have a private beach but if you're with a car that's no problem at all. Small cozy beach about 10 min walking from the hotel.

Our experience was great! spacious, renovated room, cleaning was done daily! The staff is very friendly, eager to help you and provide you with a wonderful experience! The food is tasty and diverse, but we expect more options of traditional Greek food. (Pancakes for breakfast... a delight! 💕 We will definitely be back! I recommend! 💕

Nice hotel and good value overall for families with kids. It was pleasantly quiet and relaxed. The bar had limited coffee options. We were unsure why a paper voucher was needed at dinner when our bracelet already showed that dinner was included. We had dinner included (red bracelet) which means drinks are not included. While it makes sense to exclude bar drinks for non-all-inclusive guests, if dinner is included, it would feel more reasonable to include at least water or one drink. We were offered the tap salty water as an option that was not drinkable at all. The service was very good. The only thing about room service, they were coming for towels between 3 and 5 only when it was the only time we were in the room and trying to sleep/rest. There was great mini disco for kids at evening from 8 but some evenings were replaced with music event which is fine but it would work much better if mini disco was not removed. It is difficult to keep the kids away that early. In my opinion all other events for guests should start after 9pm. Regarding kids activity about 1pm it was only about 30mins e.g. drawings. For family hotel having at least 1 hour playground available for kids would be much better. In general stay was OK and kids loved it.

Extremely good staff, especially the bartender Thomas, the most helpful nd cheerful bartneder ever and the girls from animation club (Wiktoria, Ania, and Emilia). The pool bar and menu are vast and delicious. I didnt expect it to be this good. The rooms though have seen better times, yet, most of the time is spent anyways by the pool or by the see. Albo, the menu in the restaurant is tasty, yet, boring, almost no sea food. Generally, the hotel is definitely recommended with small kids.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The staff were always very friendly and helpful, the rooms were always very clean, and the food was good. We chose the all-inclusive package, which allowed us to have cocktails whenever we wanted. However, after 11:00 p.m., they had to be paid for. Paying €11.50 for a single cocktail definitely wasn’t worth it. The cocktails weren’t made by the bartenders but by machines, and unfortunately they weren’t good at all. They were basically just liquid and ice, with no real flavor. The iced coffees were also disappointing because they mostly tasted like water. Despite these issues, I might come back in the future.

Location: Good | Room: Okay | Food: Very Poor — 2/5 The hotel's location was a definite plus, and convenient for getting around. We stayed 5 nights in a recently renovated room that was clean and acceptable, though nothing special. Unfortunately, the food let the whole stay down badly, and it's the main reason I can't recommend the all-inclusive package or any meal plan here. Breakfast: Practically nothing edible beyond plain cucumbers and tomatoes — and even those were served without olive oil, which never appeared anywhere in the buffet. The only branded, decent product was small tubs of Lurpak butter, but several of these turned out to be expired or rancid once opened. Main meals: No grilled meat or fish were offered at all. Every meat dish was disguised in sauces and built from minced meat (meatballs, "carne tocata"-style preparations), which strongly suggested they were using low-quality or aging meat that needed to be masked rather than served plainly. Cold cuts: The deli/cold cut selection was similarly poor — no real salami or ham, just pressed, reconstituted minced-meat products. I've genuinely never encountered cold cuts of this quality anywhere else. "Feta" cheese: What was labeled as Greek feta tasted like a processed cheese imitation rather than the real thing — nothing like authentic Greek feta. Salads/yogurt: Salads were drowned in heavy, greasy sauces, and the "Greek yogurt" used in them was clearly an imitation product, not real Greek yogurt. Coffee & drinks: Coffee was from an instant dispenser — low quality and unpleasant to drink. The beer was thin and watery with a harsh, bitter aftertaste; overall drink quality (included with the package) was poor across the board. Bottom line: The room and location are fine, but the food quality was consistently disappointing — everything tasted artificial and was difficult to digest, with clear signs that low-grade or aging ingredients were being masked with sauces and minced preparations. I'd strongly advise against booking the all-inclusive or any meal package at this hotel; if you stay here, plan to eat elsewhere.

Very disappointed with our stay. The bathroom had a strong moldy smell, and there were visible signs of mold on the walls. The bathroom was not tiled at all. The shower area and walls were covered only with cement plaster and some kind of coating, which looked unfinished and poorly maintained. The hotel is located far from the beach — about a 15-minute walk, including steep uphill and downhill sections. This is especially inconvenient for families with small children or strollers. Most of the furniture and facilities are old, worn out, and rusty. The food was below average. The worst part was the bed — the mattress was badly sagging and extremely uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Due to the moldy smell and the poor condition of the bathroom, I would especially not recommend this hotel to families with babies or young children. We would not stay here again.
