The hotel is well organized overall, but it feels like things are only about 60% finished. The bartenders during the evening entertainment were fantastic—friendly and hardworking—but they’re clearly understaffed, so drinks can take a long time. The room service was okay, nothing special.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were chaotic, with people cutting in line and bumping into each other like animals. The food was decent but lacked variety, and if you’re a seafood lover, you’ll probably be disappointed. The cakes and pies were excellent, though. The evening entertainment was disappointing, with very little going on apart from the same two live musicians playing many of the same songs every other night.
The pool water was clean, but the sides of the pools were dirty and weren’t cleaned during our stay.
We paid for the sea view upgrade, and it was definitely worth the money. The views are beautiful, and the location is excellent. If you’re planning to rent a car, it’s a great base for exploring the island.
Overall, it’s a decent hotel with plenty going for it, but there’s still room for improvement.

We stayed in this hotel as part of our package holiday booked with jet2. Overall we had a great stay and will recommend it as it’s located near to a lot of interesting points. Just 5 mins drive from the airport, 10 mins drive from Santa Cruz de la Palma and no more than an hour to different sights on the island. The staff is friendly and always helpful, from the reception desk to the restaurant to the rooms. You can see planes taking off from the hotel but it didn’t disturb us at all. The hotel offer lot of variety at meal times and the swimming pool area is always clean. I loved the playground area for children facing the sea. Giving 4 stars as although the rooms come with many extras like shampoo conditioner, toothpaste and toothbrush, hairdryer and even a small comb, there is no ventilation in the toilet and as a couple we had two single beds attached which was a bit annoying. Other than that the room was clean and tidy up when requested. The sea view is a great addition if you can have that. WiFi was working but not the smart tv. Would stay again as it provided all we needed and also just few minutes walk from a nice beach and seafront walk.

Nice relaxing holiday. Stayed for 7 nights with hubby. Staff friendly. Bed comfy. Food good with a varied choice most days. Hotel needs updating, but very clean. Room cleaned daily with fresh towels. Location great with 2 minute walk to the beach. Limited places to swim due to the constant breeze, and the occasional high waves. Entertainment most nights with a singer or musician. You will need to take the bus to town centre Santa Cruz for more shops, as there are only a few in walking distance from the hotel. Overall a good break 😊

Fantastic stay at this hotel. Don’t listen to the negative reviews. This is a hardworking hotel which does exactly what you would expect.
The pool areas are clean and well maintained. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped, and the restaurant is very good with a wide range of choice.
The staff are what really makes this hotel. They are absolutely brilliant.
Would definitely return here!!!!

Location perfect. Literally 2 miles away from airport.
I was travelling independently and hired a car.
When I arrived at the hotel, most of the Jet2 flights had also arrived in coach loads....there was one person on reception and it took ONE HOUR TWENTY MINUTES TO CHECK IN. By this point, we'd missed dinner. The food on offer to us was a disgrace....no bread just dry crackers and a bit of salad.
The reception staff were very friendly. Some of the other staff were rude, especially an older man who was slim...he was dam right rude.
The room was hot...even with "AC" on.....I had to buy a big fan. I've since read that AC is not allowed to be set lower than 27c due to the island sustainably and climate impact. La Palma is VERY humid.
Food was awful, apart from the homemade cakes.
Pools were lovely and warm. Even the unheated ones were 27c!!
La Palma is very different to anywhere I've travelled. Would visit again but stay self catering.
